The Poisoned Omega
I grabbed his hands and held them above his head, "Are you waiting for me to ask you to open up?" I ask under my breath before claiming his lips in a kiss again, licking the inside of his mouth as I made him s**k on my tongue. I put my hand under his pajama trousers, squeezing his soft d***.
"Knight, please stop."
"Continue to tell me to stop, that is what l like to hear from you the most," I take his lips, kissing him messily as I stroke his d*** with my middle finger grazing his enticing assh**e.

Chapter 5
Bram.
I slowly open my eyes the next morning to an empty space on the bed. It seems Alpha Knight had left a few hours ago. I press my face into the pillow screaming angrily, hating the fact that I don't even remember when I fell asleep. What the heck did he do to me?
To make it even worse my pillow and bedsheets smells like him. I threw my pillow away, smacking my head.
How can I just comfortably fall asleep in his arms? I squeeze my butt to make sure I wasn't penetrated by him and a relieved wash over me when I didn't feel anything.
"Golden?" I call out my wolf in my head and he answered tiredly and sleepily.
["I don't know what happened, l felt good and l slept."]
"What do you mean you felt good? That man is not our mate but he keeps treating us as one. You haven't said anything the night of the party. He has poisoned us, Golden."
Golden yawns lazily, ["Why are you telling me this?"]
"Don't be like that Golden.''
["Be like what? This is first time we are communicating with each other. You ignore my existence inside you because I'm an Omega."]
"This is not the time to act this way, we need to work together. Don't you want our mate? if this man claims us we will never be free, Golden. And what if our mate comes looking for us?"
["Right."]
I want to argue more with him when a knock came on the door, announcing my breakfasts. This is new but I didn't complain. Even when I step out of my room to see a lot of new faces, maids and guards. It feels so strange to have people run around quarters.
"Omega, please take a seat, l will like to introduce myself. My name is Maya, l come from a small town in the East and l'm your new cook. Alpha Knight has made provision for your feeding and I'd love to introduce to you this delicacies. Here is a Cornmeal mush, corn bread succotash, county ham and fried green tomatoes. This drink is called lemonada suica it made from fresh limes, water, sugar and imported brazil condensed milk. Do you have any allergies, Omega?"
"It's fine, l'm okay with anything. Can l eat now?" I ask, rubbing my palm together happily.
''Yes, Omega. Please go ahead," The young lady in her early thirties bow with respect, waiting for me to eat.
I couldn't understand why Alpha Knight was going this far just to see me suffer or why he wants to be with someone who isn't his fated mate. Last night, he was rather too calm and sad as well and he seemed really hurt by my words. Maybe I should just converse with him calmly, he might change his mind about getting married to me.
Why am l even thinking about him?
I'm so embarrassed, did he feel my erection on his stomach? I have to control myself around him but what can I really do? He posioned my drink... I couldn't understand why he went as far as poisoning me. I have never heard of a poison that makes one gravely horny and sensual. And from what he said it will be come back in 10 days, it's already 2,3...9,10. On the wedding day is the10th day.
Oh my fucking goddess!
This is worse than the poison killing me!
["Calm down, Bram."] Golden mumbled as I dropped the spoon in my hand. I took a deep breath, l should go for a run to calm myself. I stood up, my appetite gone. I can't do this.
"Omega?" Maya is confused, her eyes questioning, "Are you dissatisfied with the food? l can quickly make something else if you don't find it edible."
"No, no the food is good. l'm just not in the mood to eat right now."
"I'm greatly sorry, Omega. l don't mean to be rude to you but you have to eat your food."
"I'm not hungry which means l don't want to eat."
"I'm sorry but it's an order, Omega. l have to see to it that you eat well."
I rolled my eyes at her, "Kindly get out of my way please," l stormed off and scampering towards the woods. Firstly, l'm being forced to marry someone who doesn't understand the word No and now l'm being forced to eat against my will.
Tsk, when will all this pass?
"Golden, you should take over. l don't want to be in this world right now," I tell my wolf, retreating back into my mind as he takes over, running deeper into the woods.
After my coming of age and the shifting ceremony, this is the first time I have willingly allowed my wolf to take over me. I can't allow him to take over when l know nobody is interested in seeing him and not when he makes me feel like the last person on earth.
It feels good to confide and talk in secret with him and his voice earlier seems very weird compared to the night his form truly evolved. He sounded like a happy cat and talks plenty now he is suddenly sounding all cool and all.
["Bram, we should stop."] I could feel Golden slowing down and taking a stroll.
"Are you alright, Golden?" I asked sincerely even though l was feeling dizzy myself.
["I'm fine, l have been feeling lethargic since that night.]
"Shit, the poison? Did it affect you too? Put me through Golden," I begged him but it was too late as my legs gave out, I fainted.
*Hours Later*
"Bram, are you alright?" I opened my eyes to an unfamiliar room, "Omega, can you hear me?"
I nodded gently, "Where am I?"
"You are in the hospital, Alpha Richard is on his way here."
"What happened to me?" I asked, looking around vaguely. My eyes met with the familiar pack's doctor.
"You fainted out of weakness be careful when you are letting your wolf out next time," He informs me curtly.
"I don't understand, Elder."
"I didn't find any life threatening symptoms in your body which means your body is perfectly fine. What bother me is that your pulse is beating weakly so I can only advise you to rest more. In all my years in this Pack under your father, l have never met a weak wolf like yours, Bram. I want you to love and take care of yourself more and l will keep that thing l saw in your body confidential," He said.
I let out a tired sigh.
"One of the pack guards found your wolf lying helplessly on the ground behind the waterfall. He brought you here and immediately sent news to your father, he should be here in a few minute.''
I let out another long tired sigh. My father is going to lay me out and toast me. Why is all this even happening to me? My wolf got weaker and I can't help but think that it is because of that poison!
Why does the doctor want to keep it a secret even when l didn't ask him?
Alpha Knight has killed me! He has ended my life for me... My father rushed into the ward, looking at me worriedly.
"Bram, are you okay son?"
"I'm fine, father," I shut my eyes, not ready for this.
"Elder Resa, how is my son?"
"Alpha, he is okay. He is a little just malnourished and needs to rest more."
"Open your eyes when l talk to you Bram!" My father scolds, "Were you trying to run away?"
" What? No Father!"
" Then what were you doing out in the woods alone?"
"Father, that is not the first time I'm going for a run and don't worry about me, l don't have the guts to run away even if I want to with everything in me."
"Good then, if anything were to happen to you this Pack will be held responsible and it will bring disappointment and bloodshed. I just need you to wait until your Alpha Knight claims you before you go wildling. And from now on, you are not allowed to leave your quarters until your wedding day," My father yells, "Stay there and meditate on yourself, learn new things and work on your clothes and mannerisms. He turned to the doctor, "When can he be dismissed?"
"He can go now, Alpha. If he wishes to."
"Come Bram, l will walk you to your quarters."
"Yes, Father."
"Bram please don't cause me trouble. I'll have the guards send some intellectual and helpful Books so you can read them. Your hair doesn't look good anymore so have the maids work on it."
"Yes, Father ''
"You see l heard you were found in your wolf-form. It is okay to take your wolf out for a run sometimes but you have an important occasion at hand. This is not the time to play fun and l expect to see more elegant and appealing part of you. l don't want people from other Packs to look down on you on that day. Do you understand what l'm saying, Bram?"
"I understand, father''
"More guards will be at your convenience, anything you want let them know and it will be instantly provided," He taps my shoulder, smoldering me with comfort.
"I understand Father, l should go now."
"Alright son, rest well and..." I didn't wait for him to finish his sentence. l don't want to be here the next second with him.
Tch, l'm practically a walking prisoner.
"Excuse me. Omega."
"Maya?"
"I would like to know your favourite colour? Here is a sheet, please write down anything you have ever liked and would like to own. Alpha Knight wants to have them by tomorrow and he asked if it is okay to refurbish your quarters so you can feel at home whenever you come back here."
"Are you working for my father or are you working for Alpha Knight?"
"Alpha Knight sent me here so l automatically work under your father."
"Oh l see," I ignored her and went on my heels.
"Omega please don't make my work hard for me. Alpha Knight has entrusted me to take care of you everything he is doing is purely for your happiness."
"Then tell your Alpha l'm happy to say no! l have no interest in leaving my pack in the first place or have him reform my house and more importantly we are not getting married," l muttered annoyingly, walking off to my room. I slide into my bed, pulling the blanket over my head. I ust want to let out a loud scream, l thought l was living peacefully and invisible. Getting all these attention is overwhelming, I'd choose my life when all this wasn't in place.
The Moon Goddess indeed doesn't work in a way we expect and hope for.
"Golden? Are you alright?" I communicate with my wolf, "What is it you wanted to say to me back when we were running? How are you feeling?"
["I'm alright, it just that the poison makes me dizzy and it weakens my entire being. Nothing serious, l just feel more tired lately."]
"Tired that you can't run to save yourself?" I'm annoyed because this shows how useless my wolf is.
["You should have thought of saving us if you didn't drink what you were supposed not to ever drink in your life so don't transfer aggression on me. l wasn't the one who drank the poison, you did."]
"But l don't feel any different and I'm not weak like you are."
["You are me and l am you. The earlier you accept me the better for you."]
"I just want to know how..." My voice are cut short when the door to my room is pushed open.
"Are you hurt?"
I blink in suprised at the familiar voice and his sweet scent of cinnamon. Goosebumps instantly creeps on my skin at Alpha Knight walking into my room in his large rufulous wolf form. It was totally red and menacing.
I begin to panic, sliding off my bed to run away as he jumps on the bed, trying to come close.
"Hello there?"
"You don't walk into people's room like that. Please give me some privacy, you can't just come into my house then into my room and just get on my bed like that. l thought we are not supposed to see each other until the wedding day. What are you doing here? Why didn't you knock before you came in? Why?"
"Calm down gold eyes, at least hear me out first," He stood up from the bed and walked around, coming towards me as he shifted back to his human form. He stood totally naked in front of me and my eyes betrays me by furrowing on his hot scrumptious and sculpted body, making my jaw drop at every step he took.
"You have asked so many questions, which one do you want me to answer first?"
Why does he sound so calm and seductive every time I raise my voice at him?
I took a step backwards every time he takes a step forward.
"Firstly, l came here as soon as l heard the news that you fainted. I was worried sick of you, my own."

My world shattered twice. First, the ocean claimed my son. Then, the mountain road took another, a direct sacrifice to the man I loved and the woman he chose. In the hospital, beeps marked the emptiness where my second son used to be, echoing the first loss, both involving Holden and Giana.
During the car crash, I was pinned, bleeding, and trapped. Holden, my partner, looked me in the eyes, then chose to save Giana, abandoning me and our unborn child.
Soon, I overheard Holden praising Giana for turning our tragedy into a PR win. His hollow apologies and focus on Giana’s "miracle work" reignited the brutal memory of her push and his past denials.
A decade of sacrificing my life and two children for a man who saw me as a liability left a bitter taste. His choice was clear; only profound abandonment remained.
But this time, I was choosing me. From my profound loss, a dangerous spark ignited: I would not just survive; I would find freedom and make him pay.

I woke up suffocating in the dark, only to find my mind trapped inside a tiny, plump, and entirely uncoordinated body.
A cold, mechanical voice echoed in my brain, announcing that I was dead in my original world and had transmigrated into a corporate revenge novel as the six-month-old illegitimate daughter of Edward McClure, the story's ruthless villain.
The system mercilessly outlined my doomed fate. Tonight, my cold-blooded father would abandon me to a state orphanage. By age two, he would officially sign my rights away, leaving me to die miserably at the hands of human traffickers. Outside my nursery, I could hear his terrifying footsteps approaching, his voice devoid of any human warmth as he debated throwing me out like garbage. I was completely helpless, trapped in a baby's body, staring up at a man who looked at me with pure, visceral disgust.
Why did I have to be reborn as the tragic cannon fodder of a tyrant destined to put a bullet in his own head? How was I supposed to win over a severe germaphobe when my unequipped infant reflexes made me literally pee and vomit all over his pristine Tom Ford suits?
"Your ultimate mission is to prevent Edward McClure's self-destruction. Step one: Survive tonight's abandonment crisis."
Hearing the system's terrifying ultimatum, I swallowed my adult panic, forced a pool of pitiful tears into my large eyes, and reached my chubby little hands toward the monster.

I came with a mission to kill the Lord of the empire, Mark. "Lara, I am pleased with you." Fireworks bloomed above us as I looked down at Mark kneeling on one knee. The dagger hidden in my sleeve almost slipped from my grasp. "Are you willing to marry me as my wife, from now on, for a lifetime?" "Yes." The system's alarm rang sharply in my mind, urging me to complete my mission, but I still chose to move forward without hesitation.
Reality, however, was far crueler than I expected. "Lara, as Mark's wife, you must not leave the palace for three years and, when the time comes, gracefully step down." "Okay," I answered lightly, just as I had agreed to his proposal. That night, flames swallowed my courtyard, the fire blazing high enough to erase everything I had endured. I thought it was my end.
But when I opened my eyes, I was back to the day he proposed. The same fireworks. The same man on one knee. Only this time, Mark's eyes were filled with tears as he held my hand and whispered, "Lara, don't go."
