The Omega Tribrid: Claimed by Three Kings Novel Cover

The Omega Tribrid: Claimed by Three Kings

They called her Omega as if it were her name, as if stripping her of an identity would make it easier to forget that she was born under a blood moon and left at the borders of a pack that never wanted her. Seraphina has spent her entire life on her knees scrubbing floors stained with the victories of wolves who never saw her as one of their own, enduring humiliation, hunger, and the cold certainty that she will never shift, never belong, and never rise above the rank they forced upon her. In a kingdom where strength is everything and weakness is despised, she survives by lowering her eyes and swallowing her pride, unaware that the submission they scent-marked into her skin is slowly being rejected by something ancient stirring in her blood. When King Kael Draven, the ruthless Alpha of Alphas, visits her pack to inspect growing unrest along the borders, he expects obedience and reports, not the intoxicating scent of a mate that feels wrong, forbidden, and impossibly powerful. The moment his gaze lands on the trembling omega kneeling in the courtyard, the bond snaps with violent force, igniting not only his wolf's possessive instincts but a dangerous ripple across the supernatural realms. Because Seraphina does not smell like a simple wolf. She smells like claws and blood and magic woven together, like a prophecy whispered in secret councils and buried beneath centuries of fear. As her presence begins to crack ancient seals placed upon her at birth, two other rulers feel the shift in the balance of power. Lucien Valecrest, the immortal Vampire King whose control has never faltered in centuries of rule, senses royal blood awakening in the wind and realizes the impossible truth that his fated mate lives among wolves as a discarded omega. Alaric Thorne, the enigmatic Witch King who guards the oldest prophecies, knows that the child hidden from execution two decades ago has finally begun to rise, and that her awakening will either unite the three kingdoms or reduce them to ash. Caught between three kings bound to her by fate and a pack that once delighted in her suffering, Seraphina must confront the truth of her existence: she is not weak, not broken, and not merely a wolf without a shift, but a tribrid born of forbidden bloodlines, a living fusion of witch, werewolf, and vampire whose power was sealed to keep the world from tearing itself apart. As war brews, jealous rivals scheme, and ancient enemies emerge from the shadows, the girl who was forced to kneel must decide whether she will continue to survive quietly or rise and claim the crown destiny carved into her soul. In a world that taught her she was nothing, Seraphina will discover that she was never meant to belong to a single pack, a single throne, or even a single king, but to rule them all, and when the former omega finally stands, every kingdom will learn that the rarest creature in existence is not the one born powerful, but the one who rises from cruelty with a crown forged in claws, blood, and magic.

Chapter 23

The night settled slowly over the Crescent Moon pack, wrapping the territory in a quiet that felt almost unnatural after the tension of the day. The sky stretched endlessly above, deep and dark with scattered stars that flickered like distant watchers, while the moon cast a pale silver glow across the clearing and the surrounding forest. Lanterns had been lit along the pathways between the cabins, their warm light offering comfort to the wolves who moved about in smaller numbers than usual, their voices subdued and cautious.

Seraphina stood just outside her cabin, her arms folded lightly as she gazed toward the edge of the forest. The events of the trial replayed in her mind again and again, not the success she had achieved but the moment her control had nearly slipped away because of something that had not come from within her. The memory of that sudden pulse of energy lingered like a shadow in her thoughts, sharp and deliberate, impossible to ignore.

She could still feel it if she focused.

A foreign touch.

Controlled.

Intentional.

It had not been random.

Someone had wanted her to fail.

The realization no longer frightened her as it might have before. Instead it awakened something else inside her, a quiet determination that burned steadily beneath the surface of her calm expression. If someone within the pack believed she was still weak enough to be manipulated then she would use that belief against them.

A soft movement behind her broke her thoughts.

"You are thinking too loudly."

Lucien's voice drifted smoothly through the night as he stepped into the faint glow of the lantern beside her cabin. His presence carried the same quiet elegance as always, yet there was a sharper awareness in his gaze as he studied her.

Seraphina turned slightly toward him.

"I did not realize thoughts could be heard," she replied.

Lucien's lips curved faintly.

"Not by sound," he said. "But your energy shifts when your mind is restless."

Seraphina exhaled slowly and looked back toward the forest.

"I keep thinking about what happened during the trial," she admitted.

Lucien stepped closer, his gaze following hers into the darkness beyond the clearing.

"As you should," he said. "It was not a simple mistake or an accident."

Seraphina nodded.

"I know."

For a moment they stood in silence while the distant sounds of the pack settled into the background.

Then Lucien spoke again.

"Your plan will work," he said calmly.

Seraphina glanced at him.

"You sound very certain."

Lucien's expression remained composed.

"People who believe they are unseen often grow careless," he explained. "If someone within this pack acted against you once then they will do so again, especially if they believe you are still vulnerable."

Seraphina considered his words carefully.

"That is what I am counting on."

Lucien studied her face for a moment before speaking again.

"Confidence is useful," he said. "But do not underestimate the intelligence of your enemy."

Seraphina gave a small nod.

"I will not."

Before the conversation could continue another presence approached.

Kael stepped into the lantern light, his golden eyes moving briefly between them before settling on Seraphina.

"Everything is prepared," he said.

Seraphina straightened slightly.

"Already?"

Kael nodded.

"The warriors have been instructed to keep their distance from this side of the clearing tonight," he explained. "Anyone who approaches will stand out immediately."

Dorian emerged from the shadows a moment later, his calm expression thoughtful as always.

"I have also placed a subtle barrier around this area," he added. "It will not stop anyone from entering, but it will allow me to sense any foreign magic that crosses into it."

Seraphina felt a small sense of reassurance at their words.

"Then all that is left is to wait," she said.

Lucien's faint smile returned.

"The most difficult part of any plan."

The night deepened around them as the pack gradually retreated into their cabins, leaving the clearing quieter with each passing moment. The lanterns flickered gently in the breeze while the forest beyond remained dark and watchful.

Seraphina moved back inside her cabin, leaving the door slightly open as part of the illusion they were creating. A single candle burned on the small wooden table, casting soft light across the room. She sat on the edge of her bed and closed her eyes briefly, allowing her breathing to slow as she focused on her energy.

She needed to appear vulnerable.

Unstable.

As though the trial had taken more from her than she had admitted.

Carefully she allowed the balance within her to shift slightly.

Not enough to lose control.

Just enough to create the illusion of it.

Her wolf instincts dimmed slightly.

Her magic flickered unevenly.

Her vampire presence withdrew just enough to create a subtle imbalance.

To anyone watching it would appear as though she was struggling to maintain control.

Outside the cabin the night stretched on.

Time passed slowly.

Minutes felt like hours.

Seraphina remained still, her senses extended carefully outward as she listened to the quiet world around her.

The faint rustle of leaves.

The distant call of a night bird.

The soft movement of wind through the trees.

Everything felt normal.

Too normal.

Then suddenly she felt it.

A shift.

Subtle but unmistakable.

Her eyes opened slowly.

Someone had entered the area.

The air changed ever so slightly, carrying a faint trace of magic that brushed against her senses like a whisper.

Dorian felt it at the same moment.

Outside the cabin his posture stiffened as his awareness locked onto the disturbance.

Lucien's gaze sharpened instantly while Kael's wolf instincts rose to the surface with silent intensity.

The presence moved carefully.

Quietly.

Approaching the cabin.

Seraphina forced herself to remain still.

Her breathing shallow.

Her energy deliberately unstable.

The footsteps stopped just outside the door.

For a brief moment nothing happened.

Then the door moved.

Slowly.

Silently.

A shadow slipped into the room.

Seraphina kept her eyes half closed as she allowed her senses to guide her.

The figure moved with controlled precision.

Light.

Careful.

Familiar.

Her heart beat steadily as she recognized the pattern of movement.

She had seen it before.

The figure stepped closer.

A faint scent reached her.

Her suspicions solidified instantly.

Lyra.

Seraphina remained motionless as Lyra approached the small table where the candle burned softly. Her movements were graceful and quiet, her expression calm as she reached into the folds of her clothing and withdrew a small vial.

The liquid inside shimmered faintly in the candlelight.

Poison.

Again.

Seraphina felt a slow surge of anger rise within her chest.

Lyra moved toward the cup resting beside the bed, her hand steady as she prepared to pour the contents of the vial into it.

That was the moment Seraphina moved.

Her eyes snapped open.

"Enough."

The word cut through the silence like a blade.

Lyra froze instantly.

The vial remained suspended in her hand.

For a brief moment neither of them moved.

Then Lyra turned slowly to face her.

The calm mask she always wore slipped for the first time.

Surprise flickered across her features.

"You were awake," she said quietly.

Seraphina stood slowly from the bed, her gaze steady and unyielding.

"I was waiting."

The air in the room shifted as the presence of the three kings filled the doorway behind Lyra.

Kael stepped inside first, his expression dark with controlled anger.

Dorian followed, his eyes focused sharply on the vial in Lyra's hand.

Lucien entered last, closing the door behind him with quiet finality.

The trap had closed.

Lyra's gaze moved briefly between them before returning to Seraphina.

A slow smile began to form on her lips.

"So this was a test," she said.

Seraphina crossed her arms lightly.

"A necessary one."

Lyra glanced down at the vial still in her hand before lifting her eyes again.

"And now you believe you have won."

Kael stepped forward, his voice firm.

"You have been poisoning members of this pack," he said. "And you attempted to sabotage Seraphina during her trial."

Lyra did not deny it.

Instead she tilted her head slightly.

"You speak as though I have committed some terrible crime," she said calmly.

Dorian's expression darkened.

"You betrayed your own pack."

Lyra's smile faded slightly.

"My pack?" she repeated.

Her gaze sharpened.

"This pack never belonged to me."

The words hung in the air like a sudden storm.

Seraphina frowned.

"What do you mean?"

Lyra's eyes locked onto hers.

"I was never one of you," she said quietly.

A chill moved through the room.

Lucien's expression shifted with interest.

"Then who do you serve?"

Lyra's smile returned.

"Someone far more powerful than any of you."

Before anyone could react she moved.

The vial shattered against the ground as a burst of dark energy exploded outward from her body, forcing Kael and Dorian back a step as the sudden surge disrupted their balance.

Seraphina felt the energy immediately.

It was the same controlled force that had struck her during the trial.

Lyra's eyes glowed faintly as she stepped backward toward the door.

"You should have let me finish," she said softly.

Then she turned and fled into the night.

Kael moved instantly to follow.

"Stop her."

But Lucien raised a hand slightly.

"No."

Kael turned sharply.

"She is escaping."

Lucien's gaze remained calm.

"She is leading us to something."

Dorian nodded slowly as he understood.

"Or someone."

Seraphina stood in the center of the room, her heart pounding as the truth settled over her.

Lyra was not acting alone.

The real enemy was still hidden.

And now they had finally revealed a piece of the truth.

The game had changed.

And this time Seraphina was no longer waiting to be attacked.

She was ready to hunt.
