Chapter 1

"We are leaving in twenty minutes, Make sure to look your best."

Tears of pain and betrayal oozed from her eyes as she gripped the crushing weight of her husband's words. Each syllable seemed to pierce her heart, unravelling the trust she had carefully tangled over the past two months. The anguish in her gaze reflected a profound sense of loss and disbelief, her once warm and secure world now tarnished by the sharp sting of deceit.

"Lucas, I'm your wife! Don't you feel anything for me? Please... don't do this."

Her weak begging echoed in their luxurious suite room. The silence of the peaceful night feels pity about her miserable state. Her vulnerable state was evident in her tearful eyes.

"Alina, we have already talked about this. None of your alternative solutions are gonna help here. This is the only way for us to achieve what I want."

He told her nonchalantly while looking into her Closet. He is trying to find the best outfit she brought to get her ready for the night. None of her pleads seem to be important to him.

"What if anyone finds out about this? You might get into big trouble if anyone finds out. Please at least think about your reputation."

She asked him one last time, hoping to see him change his mind. But instead, he turned to look at her with huge confidence. He threw the dress he picked up to her face and looked at her with a kind of arrogance.

"They would never doubt me. I'm the perfect son of that household. My reputation is untouchable. What you're about to do will only enhance it, so stop worrying about it. Now, shut up and get ready faster."

That's the last piece of arrow that dug deeper inside her wounded heart. She can't believe she is hearing all these things from the man who is responsible for protecting her from all these humiliations. She is looking at him with disbelief.

He completely ignored her broken state. He held her wrist and dragged her towards the washroom. Before she even protested, he pushed her into the washroom.

"Now enough of your excuses, get ready faster. You have to be there in twenty minutes."

He immediately went after ordering her like a heartless creature. She was looking at his retreat figure in a devastated state. Her hands locked the door with a trembling hand, soon more tears rolled out of her eyes thinking about her pathetic fate.

She can't believe it's happening to her. She never expected her husband to get her into this sinful situation. Her married life with him is only two months. Ever since she married him, she knows there's something off about him. The way he behaved around her. The way he mostly avoided her in bed. Everything was noticeable.

But she didn't take that seriously since they had an arranged marriage. She used to work at his department store as Sales manager. His family proposed the marriage first after seeing she was the right candidate to be the submissive daughter-in-law for their rich family, who would never talk against them.

She wasn't sure about the marriage earlier, but her single father urged her to marry since they offered a whopping amount of money as a dowry. But against all her inner disagreement, she made up her mind to be a respectable and submissive daughter-in-law of Asia's richest family.

The Knight clan.

but her married life wasn't a bed full of roses as she expected.

Her husband Lucas Knight was the second son of the Knight clan. And the favorite son of the family. Soon after the marriage, her in-laws started to pressure her to have a child. They were eager to get the first grandchild of their family since their elder son already made himself clear about not getting married.

Well, she wasn't against the child making at all.. but the problem is, from day one, her husband hasn't touched her for a steady time. He never intended to consummate their marriage. He always made hundreds of excuses, mostly keeping a decent acquaintance with her. Even if she tried to get close, he always moved away for different reasons. She got frustrated and confronted him one day. but the reply she got for the confrontation ruined her entire future.

"I didn't marry you to have children, Alina. Your purpose here was entirely different." he Told her with a full of venom in his tone.

"You were going to have your first night with my client. Who has offered me a fifty billion dollar deal for your virginity."

His shout of declaration still rings in her ears. She didn't expect her life to turn out this way. After the revelation. Her life has never been the same. She tried almost every way to convince him not to let her do this sin. But her last drop of hope crushed upon her head after their last night conversation.

"Tomorrow night you're gonna do what we planned, Alina. Don't you dare to mess up the arrangements."

Alina was standing in front of the mirror looking at her reflection with emotionless eyes. She was wearing the long black dress her husband selected for her. She has done her hair as he said. She was all doll up.

All dolled up to sleep with her husband's Client. The unknown creepy person who has offered a billion dollar worth deal for her virginity.

If this were any normal circumstances, she would have slapped him until his cheek tore apart. But she wasn't in the position to oppose as he had the biggest weapon in his hand. The only weakness she has in her life.. that's the only thing which makes her do all this... Otherwise, she wasn't the girl that would keep her dignity this low.

"Are you ready?" Her thoughts were abruptly cut off hearing his voice suddenly.

She wiped her tears carefully without messing up her mascara. She got up from the chair and turned to look at him with a dead eye.

"I'm ready."

She told him with a cold tone. Lucas took a look at her carefully from top to bottom. He nodded in approval, seeing her well-dressed and looking beautiful.

"Great, Remember It's 406. make sure to take the last elevator. No one should see you. Message me after you are done. Don't come down until I tell you. Understood?"

He asked her in an orderly way, pushing the purse into her hands. She only nodded her head without saying a word. Then he called someone and talked for a minute before turning towards her again.

"Alina, remember, this is your first and last chance to get the deal. You can't miss this opportunity, got it?"

He asked her sternly, adjusting her hair. All the time Alina was staring at her husband with wonder. Does such a spouse really exist in this world? Is he real or any malfunctioned robotic machine? How can he be this cruel and heartless? Isn't he angry by the fact his stranger client Is gonna enjoy the innocence she has been saving her entire twenty-four years of life? Like, won't he even feel possessive about the fact, she is going to be assaulted by his creepy client instead of him?

She sighs seeing him eager to get her upstairs soon. Maybe he wasn't the type of husband most girls get. He is the creature who would make any sacrifices to hold up his greed. His greediness for money. she decided, it's better to get it done before it gets ugly. If he was okay with her sleeping with another man, why would she worry? There's nothing to worry about actually.

When her thoughts were overflowing inside her mind, she got back to her senses hearing the ding sound of the elevator. It means she reached the Floor.

with a heavy sigh, she came out of the elevator. The first sight of the luxurious pathway of the private floor was breathtaking. The pin drops silence in the hallway increasing the anxiety level inside her stomach. Every step towards the door weighed her entire life. Millions of questions have been boiling inside her mind.

What if it was a creepy old man who gets pleasure through assaulting the victim?

What if he was some kind of psycho who tries the painful acts on her? Or anything that is worse than these?

When those questions are raised. She cant stop herself from feeling the numbness on her legs. It was begging her to run away from this plan immediately. But the vulnerable blackmail was holding herself from going further.

'Relax, Alina! This is nothing. You are doing nothing. You were doing this for her. You are doing no wrong. It will be over before you even know it.'

She starts to chant inside her head repeatedly. Her fingers are doing fist fights. Every second feels like a year because of the upcoming storm. When she was sweating out of fear, suddenly she jolted when she bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry ma'am. Please forgive me."

There was a bellboy of his young age looking at her with a nervous face. She almost saw her current state on his face. She forced a smile before talking.

"It's okay."

She replied quickly before taking the key card from the ground, which had fallen on the bump.

Then the boy quickly leaves, taking the belongings he dropped, she sighs and begins to walk forward. Now she was at the end of the pathway. There's just two rooms. She stared at the key card on her hand.

After taking a long breath, she swiped the key card of room number 409.

With a click of an opening, she slowly entered the room. It was a dim room with a black and grey shade aesthetic suite. She couldn't see most of it due to the gloomy atmosphere. She was almost glued to the entrance due to anxiety. But the next second she was jolted on her spot when she heard the deep voice from behind.

"You are late!"
