Chapter 2

No... if I stayed there any longer, something bad was bound to happen.

I closed the door and slipped back into my room like a thief. I clutched the blanket tightly between my legs. The tingling sensation only intensified.

“If only I could be with a man like Jetson just once.”

The moment that thought crossed my mind, I was utterly shocked by myself.

It was bad enough that I just had a physical reaction to Jetson. But I was actually fantasizing about him.

How despicable! How shameless!

I opened the window to let the breeze in and gulped down several large glasses of cold water, hoping it would quell the heat. But desire was like Pandora’s box. Once opened, there was no turning back.

What was I to do? Was I really going to burn alive?

I collapsed helplessly onto the bed and happened to catch sight of the see-through lace nightgown lying nearby.

My mind started racing.

‘That’s right, Farrell! I still had a husband!’ I thought.

Even if I could not touch him, just looking at him was good enough. I quickly changed into the outfit, cupped my bosoms, stuck out my bottom, and licked my lips. I snapped photos of every angle and sent them to Farrell.

“Honey, do you like it?”

Farrell replied almost immediately.

“You little minx! Why are you dressed like that in the middle of the night? If my dad weren’t home, I’d think you were getting ready to cheat on me!”

I swallowed hard, feeling inexplicably guilty. Then, I quickly pouted.

“You’re so mean. I dressed up just for you. Do you like it?”

“Of course I do, but...”

Farrell paused before sending another voice message.

“Don’t let my dad see you like this. He might be getting on in years, but he’s still a man. Any guy would find you irresistible when you’re dressed like that.

“I sure wouldn’t want to end up getting cheated on.”

He did not know that Jetson had already seen the photos, and he even...

I certainly could not say that out loud. I could only keep it bottled up inside for the time being.

“Don’t worry, Jetson’s probably asleep by now. Can you turn on your video chat? I miss you.”

Farrell replied in a mischievous tone.

“You little minx, can’t you even wait? Hold on, I’ll tidy up the car and video call you. Play with yourself for now.”

Why would I need to play with myself?

I was already soaking wet.

I curled up on my knees on the bed. I slid my fingers back between my legs and imagined Farrell being right beside me. But for some reason, my mind was filled with images of Jetson. I just could not shake them off.

No, I could not let that continue.

I shook my head rapidly and desperately hoped to forget about him.

“Honey, you’re the only one in my heart... Honey...”

Bang!

The door suddenly slammed open. I turned to look and saw Jetson barging in.

“Ah!”

I instinctively screamed and frantically covered my body with my hands. My heart pounded so hard it felt like it was going to jump out of my throat.

“Jetson, why didn’t you knock before coming in?”

Jetson’s brows were furrowed, his face steaming with anger.

“Hmph! What’s this? Did I interrupt you and some stranger having a naked chat? I heard everything from the doorway!

“Farrell isn’t home. I told you to behave yourself. How could you be so shameless to do this behind my son’s back?!”

I felt like crying, but no tears would come.

What “stranger” are you talking about? I was precisely waiting for Farrell.

“Jetson, you’ve got the wrong idea. Could you please step outside first? I’ll explain everything once I’ve gotten dressed.

“Why should I step outside? Should I step outside so that you could destroy the evidence?”

Jetson slammed the door shut. He walked toward me as he spoke. His large hand landed roughly on my shoulder.

With a sharp tear, the thin fabric ripped apart.

I bit my lip in frustration as tears rolled down my cheeks.

“Jetson, I really didn’t…”

Jetson’s eyes turned red. His neck suddenly bulged as a pungent, overpowering reek of alcohol hit me.

“You’re still trying to wriggle out of it! Seeing it with my own eyes is so different from a photo. Your dress is so see-through and seductive! How could you do this to my son?!”

“What belongs to the family stays within the family. Today, on my son’s behalf, I’ll make sure to protect what’s rightfully his!”

Jetson was already a muscular man, and with my body weak and limp from being worked up, I had absolutely no strength to resist. I could only let him press himself against me.

It was the first time I was this intimate with a man other than Farrell. On top of that... this man was my father-in-law.

An uncontrollable, strange thrill swept through my body, and I cried out in distress.

The next second, Farrell’s video call came through. Jetson was drunk. There was no way he could figure out the profile picture. He instinctively assumed it was the “stranger” I had been chatting with, and he was furious.

“You minx, he’s even video calling you!”

I tried to explain myself, but Jetson ripped off my thong without a word and shoved it into my mouth.

He wrapped his arms around me from behind like a ferocious beast.

“As a daughter-in-law of the Lyod family, even if you cheat, it can only remain within the family! Today, I’ll make sure that culprit watches this!”
