From his booster seat, Caleb spoke without looking up from his screen. "Mommy, my algorithm indicates a 37.8% probability of a chance encounter with 'that man' within a seventy-two-hour window, localized to the Upper East Side of Manhattan."

Adaline and Amy both stared at him, stunned into silence.

Adaline reached over and ruffled his perfectly combed hair. "What systems did you hack this time, sweetheart?"
