The Day I Died, Nobody Care Novel Cover

The Day I Died, Nobody Care

On the very day I met my end, my sister walked down the aisle wearing my dream wedding gown to marry my boyfriend. My sudden disappearance sparked no grief in my family. Instead, my brother accused me of spitefully withholding my blessings, my silent father deemed me too malicious to watch my sister succeed, and my mother demanded my apology. None of them cared if I was dead or alive; they only feared my absence would ruin my sister's perfect day.

Chapter 3

I glanced at Nigel’s serious profile as he drove, and a cruel thought crossed my mind.

What would my dear family think if they discovered that the little sister they adored was the one responsible for their real daughter’s death?

But they probably wouldn’t believe it.

I turned away, laughing at myself.

Back in school, Jessica and her minions had bullied me for three long years.

I had gone to my family for help, but no one believed me.

When I told them that Jessica was behind it all, they looked at me with reproachful eyes.

They refused to believe that their sweet, obedient Jessica could be that kind of person, and they certainly wouldn’t believe their disgraced second daughter.

They always trusted their own judgment.

So instead of getting help, I was scolded.

When I returned to school, the bullying only grew worse.

I still remember the feel of Jessica’s expensive shoes pressing down on my head, and her smug words.

“Have you given up yet?” she laughed freely. “They’re my parents and brother. Your mistake was coming back and disrupting my life. You belong in the gutter, like the insect you are. Don’t blame me for stepping on you.”

In the end, all I felt was despair, a quiet, hollow resignation.

I knew she was right, and that’s why I was so hopeless.

But none of it matters now.

Because I’m already dead.

Nigel stopped the car, got out, and walked toward a building that looked familiar.

I couldn’t help but take a second glance, and then I recognized it—it was my apartment.

What was he doing here? Did he really plan on dragging me back?

The thought almost made me laugh.

Too bad, no one’s here to be found.

I glanced at the alley nearby, feeling no emotion.

To them, my death was probably for the best.

Now, no one would cause trouble for Jessica, and their peaceful lives would remain undisturbed.

From Blood Bag To Billionaire Queen Novel Cover

For three years, I was the perfect, invisible wife to Bart Brown. On our third anniversary, I stood in the kitchen for four hours, preparing his favorite meal with imported truffles, only to receive a cold text command. "Crysta fainted again. Get to the hospital. Now." My rare Rh-negative blood was the only thing the Brown family valued. Bart didn't want a wife; he wanted a walking blood bank for his "sick" best friend, Crysta. While I was fainting from chronic anemia, Crysta was smirking in her hospital bed, clutching Bart's hand and mocking my "peasant" lifestyle. Even his mother treated me like a servant, demanding I vacuum the floors after I'd already offered my veins for the hundredth time. When I finally reached my breaking point and signed the divorce papers, they didn't let me go quietly. They filed a false police report, accusing me of stealing a multi-million dollar diamond necklace just to watch me crawl. I didn't understand how a family could be so heartless. I had cooked their meals, cleaned their house, and literally bled for them, yet they were determined to ruin my life the moment I stopped being useful. Did they really think I was a nobody with nowhere to go? Standing outside the hospital with a bruised wrist and nothing to my name, I didn't cry. I simply took off my cheap wedding ring and dialed a secure line I hadn't touched since the day I married him. "It's me, Dad," I whispered as a fleet of black Maybachs rounded the corner. "The extraction is a go. I'm coming home."

"You are a jealous, manipulative child," Clinton spat, before burning the rest of my symphony in front of my eyes. They told me to get out of their lives. So I did.
