Chapter 2

Chapter Two ~Kaelan~ I had already shifted to my human form when she collapsed on my chest. I was confused-for a while before getting her up and carrying her in bridal style as I made my way back to the pack. I saw Ryder my Beta waiting for me with seventeen soldiers at the gate. They were protecting the pack from my wolf, but I read shock on their faces when they saw me in my human form - with the sacrifice that was supposed to appease my beast. "Alpha. You're... human again." 'Tell Gaius to get to my room right now! I need him to make sure that this is alive' I ordered and walked past him. Normally, I wouldn't really care if she was dead or alive, but right now, she is the only one who can tell me what the hell had happened, since I couldn't remember a thing. Whenever I turn into my beast in a full moon, I always black out, and when I get to my human form, I remember nothing. Only the piled-up bodies and the stories my pack members tell me. Being a cursed wolf was something I had to live with; I've tried everything in my power to look for a cure, but nothing could help. I've resorted to killing myself, asking my pack members to kill me off so they won't have to deal with me killing them off one by one. Those who were courageous enough to attack me in my beast form tried, and when I was in my human form, I made them try to kill me off, but somehow my wolf took control and ended up killing them. It was so tiring to live with the guilt eating me up, and when I tried to kill myself, I ended up living. Don't know how? I just found myself alive. I walked into the palace and headed upstairs immediately, ignoring the eyes of the maids and servants who were surprised to see me this early and in human form. I should have checked if there were injuries on her body, but I panicked and picked her up without checking to see if she was okay. But I cared less about their ogling, confused gaze. I stepped into my room and dropped her on the bed and asked Gaius, who was already in my room, to check her up. I walked out of the room to give Gaius, my pack healer, enough privacy to check up on her. Ryder walks up to me and hands me a cup of cold water to drink. He didn't say anything, but I knew he had questions to ask. "Ask your questions?" I said lazily, dropping the glass cup on the table nearby. He looked at me and shrugged, "Not that you would remember anything that happened in there, so what's the point in asking." He mumbled, and I sighed. I didn't feel offended by his words. It was the truth after all. "I hope you are okay?" He asked, concern written all over his face. "If you feel anything funny, just tell me, and I'll ask Gaius to check up on you," he added, and I sent him a warm smile filled with assurance. I pat his back, "I'm fine. Let's worry more about the enstranged woman in my room," I mumbled. "I hope she survives this. We need to know what she did to make you shift to your human form," he murmured, and the room fell quiet. I badly wanted to go in and check up on her. Every time the full moon comes, I switch to my beast and stay in that form for a whole week before shifting to my human form. This was the first time I would shapeshift under twenty-four hours, and it was because of this beautiful, rejected omega princess from nowhere. Gaius finally came out of the room, bringing me out of my thoughts. I strode to his side in haste; my eyes gleamed, and a tiny bit of hope surged inside of me. "She is alive but unconscious," he announced, and I let out a relieved breath. Glad that she survived even though she's unconscious. I furrowed my brows as I looked into Gaius' eyes; he had something else to say, and I'm not sure if that's good news. "Alpha, you did something unexpected," Gaius said and paused, his gray old eyes staring into mine like he couldn't believe what I'd done. "Speak, Gaius! What did I do?" I urged him, wanting to know what he had to say. "You beast had connected with her," he responded, but I was confused. "What do you mean by that, Gaius? Do not speak in parables," I stated. "What I am trying to say is that you marked the young lady Alpha, but luckily she's breathing," he replied, and I felt my breathing seize. Ryder lets out a gasp. "I... what?" That was impossible. Every female that has been with me has never been marked. My beast just feeds from the blood, sucks them dry till they die, and she... got marked by him? What kind of species was she? She was definitely no ordinary wolf. I needed to know what she has done to me. I was about to say something when one of the wolf guards came into the room with a sense of urgency. It only meant one thing - I had to find a way to keep her here by all means. "Long live my Alpha", he bowed while panting heavily. "There's a serious problem. We're about to go to war!" ~~~ "What do you want to talk to me about that couldn't wait?", I asked the elders impatiently. I was ready to go to war with Lebinnin and take all that belonged to them, but for some reason, the royal elders needed to see me. "We know that you're bloodthirsty and you want to put Lebinnin in their place ...", elder Fenris began "... but we can't allow you leave. Not until you get yourself a mate." I honestly didn't know whether to be pissed or be confused. "What's the meaning of all this?" "My Alpha, we need you to understand. You can't keep going to war without an heir to the throne or a Luna, at least. If you go to war and don't come back, the throne will be taken away from your lineage, and we can't have that happen", Elder Obed tried to explain more of this bullshit to me. "Do you think that I will die from warring with Lebinnin?", I questioned them. "It's nothing like that. We know you're the most ruthless Alpha in the whole wolf realm, but we can't keep taking our chances anymore. We need you to find a mate before you go to war with Lebinnin." I hated every word they said, but I knew they were speaking the truth. It was an abomination for an Alpha to stay this long without a wife or family. But I had my reasons. I knew I would never be a loving husband or father with this curse of mine. I had no choice but to comply, and there was only one female that came to mind for this suicide mission.

My Alpha Refused My Dying Rejection
8.8
My fated mate, Alpha Kaden, watched me die slowly for three years while he groomed his mistress. When our pup withered and died inside me due to his neglect, he publicly accused me of murder. That was the day I stopped dying for him and started living to defy him. The Pack Healer confirmed our pup's soul returned to the Goddess; Kaden's weakened bond was literally killing me, forcing a procedure to remove the last physical tether. Immediately after, Kaden returned with Cori Mullins, his 'true love', and found me. He snarled accusations I'd destroyed his heir-a lie Cori eagerly reinforced. He dismissed my cries that he killed our baby, believing their narrative. My inner wolf gave a final gurgling howl as necrosis spread, and he swallowed Cori's lie that she, not me, saved him from rogues. I looked into his eyes and saw only disgust; he deemed my pain a performance, blind to the bond rotting me. Realizing he would never believe me, I formally rejected him as my Mate. He laughed, dismissed it as a tantrum, and refused to accept. But as he walked away, leaving me to die, I vowed to reclaim my life. I vanished into the night, determined to live for myself, whatever the deadly cost.
My Five Alpha Beast Husbands Don't Know I'm Deadly

In the Kingdom of Everspire, a celestial omen appears once every thousand years, the Blood Moon Prophecy. It chooses one woman to mate-bond with five Alpha wolves, each ruling a different pack. If she fails to unite them, the kingdom will fall to the Void Beasts that hunt in the shadows. This year, it chose me, and all five of my fated Alpha mates rejected our bond. I was the packless wolfless orphan no one wants. They don't know I'm the Silver Phantom, the realm's most feared masked rogue wolf who's slaughtered corrupt Alphas for a decade. They don't know I'm the Last Moonblood, heir to the ancient Celestial Pack that was supposed to be exterminated. They don't know I'm a True Alpha-stronger than any wolf alive-who's mastered nine ancient powers: primal magic, battle strategy, healing arts, divine shifting, and more. And they definitely don't know I'm the only one who can stop the Demon King of the Void from breaking through and destroying all shifter-kind. The Crown Prince Alpha thought bonding with me would weaken his bloodline. Now he corners me in the hallways, his voice low and desperate "You belong to me, Lysandra. At my side. In my bed. Under my protection. Your wolf calls to mine-don't you dare deny what burns between us." The General Alpha believed I'd be a liability on the battlefield. Now he drops to one knee before me after I ended a war he couldn't win, his eyes burning gold. "I was a god-damned fool. You're not just my mate. You're my Alpha. My equal in everything. I'll kill anyone who tries to take you from me. Say you'll stay." The Grand Sorcerer Alpha was convinced I had no wolf, no power, nothing became obsessed. "Your power passes mine. You're Mine. I've searched centuries for a mate worthy of me, and you've been here all along. Don't you dare hide from me again." The Merchant Heir Alpha called me forgettable. Now he traces the scars on my face like they're sacred. "I was blind and stupid. You're the most exquisite creature I've ever seen. Let me spend eternity proving I'm worthy of you. Let me worship you the way I should have from the moment we met." The Shadow Guardian Alpha refused to even acknowledge my existence. Now he stalks me through the darkness, his voice a rough whisper against my neck. "I've hunted you for years without knowing my prey was my mate. You're the only wolf strong enough to stand beside me. The only one I'll ever submit to. You own me, little phantom. Whether you accept it or not." And now all five of them are obsessed with me. Possessive and Feral with need. Too bad I'm the one in control now. And I have a Demon King to kill.

In my previous life, while I was screaming in labor, my Alpha husband was too busy comforting his mistress to answer his phone. My son died gasping for air. But Graves didn't grieve. Instead, he dragged me out of my recovery bed because his mistress, Alex, claimed to have "silver poisoning." He commanded the doctors to cut me open right there. He watched them harvest my kidney and spinal fluid without anesthesia, just to use my essence as a beauty treatment for the woman who poisoned me. "It is your duty, Luna," he sneered as I bled out on the table. I died looking at his cold, hateful eyes, realizing my love had been a death sentence. But the Moon Goddess has a twisted sense of humor. I opened my eyes, and the calendar on the wall showed the date from three years ago. The day he brought Alex home. I didn't cry. I didn't beg. I walked straight to the dark clinic with a cooler box in my hand. "Perform the Bloodline Severing," I told the terrified doctor. "Extract the fetus and freeze it in magical stasis. I'd rather stop my baby's heart myself than let that monster call him 'son'."
