The Alpha's Rejected Heir: A Mother's Revenge

The Alpha's Rejected Heir: A Mother's Revenge

My husband claimed he brought the surrogate into our bed to save my life. He said the Hatfield Curse killed every Alpha female in childbirth, so he needed another vessel for his heir. He swore it was just a clinical duty. But when he intercepted the "rogue" I was desperately trying to smuggle out of the pack lands, his duty turned into slaughter. Archie stood over the burlap sack that held my secret four-year-old son. He believed his mistress’s lie that the sack contained a dangerous weapon. I screamed until my throat bled, telling him it was his own flesh and blood inside. Archie just sneered, calling me insane. He raised his heavy military boot and stomped down hard. I heard the sickening crunch of small ribs snapping. A tiny, wheezing voice drifted from the flattened sack. "Pa... pa..." Archie froze for a second, but paranoia won. He stomped again, crushing the last breath out of our child. He ordered the "rogue trash" to be thrown to the scavengers and cast me into the dungeon to be torn apart by feral wolves. He thought he had saved the pack. He didn't know he had just murdered the only son who had survived the curse. I didn't die in that cell. I let the ocean take me, only to be pulled out by his greatest rival. Now, three months later, I’m walking back into his life. Not as his wife, but as his executioner.

Chapter 10

Karyme POV: The rogues were gone. I lay in a heap. My body, cursed with resilience, was already knitting itself back together. But the dirt inside wouldn't wash off. The cell door was unlocked. I walked out. Like a ghost. Through the service exit, into the rain. I headed for Silver Cliff. I looked at the black water crashing below. I typed one message to Jalen's foster mother. He is gone. I am sorry. I dropped the phone. "You took everything," I whispered to the moon. I stepped off. The fall was peaceful. The water hit like concrete. I let the ocean fill my lungs. Jalen, Mama is coming. Darkness. Then, a hand. Strong fingers gripped my arm, yanking me up. I broke the surface, coughing. "Breathe!" a deep voice commanded. I was dragged onto the rocky shore. A man loomed over me. Massive. Radiating power that smelled of storm clouds and hope. He wrapped a jacket around me. "Let me die," I chattered. "No," he said, eyes the color of steel. "Death is easy, Little Wolf. Living? Living is how you get revenge." Back at the Pack House, the celebration was in full swing. Archie toasted the future heir. Suddenly, the screen behind him flickered. Security footage. The dungeon. The guests gasped. Archie watched, frozen. He saw the rogues. He saw me stop fighting. Then, the cliff camera. A small figure stepping off. Archie dropped his glass. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!" His howl tore through the night. He realized the punishment hadn't been justice. It was an execution of his own soul.

Clara was drowning in student debt and barely making rent when she downloaded a fantasy mobile game to escape reality. Inside the game, an exiled prince named Alex was freezing to death. Pitying him, she spent her last few dollars on microtransactions to fix his shelter and cure his poison. But the game was far too real. Every time she paid, the prince reacted. When she complained aloud about going broke, the in-game army suddenly halted, as if the prince had heard her voice. Then, the terrifying real-world consequences hit. Clara woke up to find her water glass and a box of Kleenex had vanished from her locked bedroom overnight. She frantically searched the tiny apartment, her heart pounding in her chest. She thought she was losing her mind. Had she thrown them out in her sleep? Was there a stalker hiding in her home? How could physical objects just disappear into thin air behind a deadbolted door? Until she looked at her nightstand. Sitting exactly where her missing items used to be was a glowing, weightless crystal cup that defied all logic. And on her laptop screen, the exiled prince was carefully holding her Kleenex box, offering a mountain of real gold on an altar. She hadn't just downloaded a mobile game; she had opened a cross-dimensional trade route with a desperate future king.
Forsaken for a Fake: The True Luna's Revenge

My husband, Alpha Kaeden, once looked at me with adoration. But after he brought Clemmie home, his eyes turned cold, glazed over by the "herbal tea" she fed him. Now, I lay chained to a steel table in the dungeon, the smell of my own burning flesh filling the air. Kaeden stood over me, indifferent to my screams. He ordered the guards to electrocute me through silver cuffs—the poison of our kind—even though he knew I was carrying his pup. But torture wasn't the end goal. I froze when I heard the doctor’s question. "The transplant carries risks, Alpha. Taking a heart from a living donor..." Clemmie didn't just want my husband; she wanted my heart to cure her "sickness" and steal my White Wolf power. I waited for Kaeden to refuse. Instead, he rubbed his temples and delivered my death sentence. "Harvest the heart. Dispose of the rest." "And the fetus?" the doctor asked. "Incinerate it." Those words killed me faster than the silver. I died on the operating table that night, my heart flatlining for three minutes to stage my death. Kaeden thinks I am ash in a jar. He thinks he saved his mistress. But when I opened my eyes in the safe house, they weren't brown anymore. They were glowing silver. Beside me, my daughter slept, alive and radiating ancient power. The weak Luna is dead. The White Wolf has risen. And I am going home to take back my pack.

I Married My Ex-Fiancé's Dangerous Uncle
9.1
I stood at the altar in a fifty-thousand-dollar custom lace gown, waiting to marry the boy I had loved since I was five. But Silas didn't say "I do." He answered a phone call, turned pale, and bolted toward the exit as if the gates of hell had opened, leaving me to face five hundred of New York's most dangerous criminals alone. He left me for a waitress named Lola. The humiliation was suffocating. The elite of the Five Families looked at me with pity, a Genovese princess rejected for trash. When Silas finally returned, he didn't apologize. He showed up with hickeys on his neck, clinging to Lola, and had the audacity to suggest I become his mistress. He even demanded I hand over my dowry—millions in weapons and cash—so he could fund their lifestyle and "redecorate" with her. He thought I was still the innocent girl who would beg for his scraps. He didn't realize that in the moment he ran, a shadow had stepped forward to fill the void. Dante Moretti. The Don. Silas's uncle. The most feared man in the city looked at me with dark, predatory eyes and offered me a choice: be a victim, or be a Queen. "Since you are to marry a Moretti," Dante said, extending his scarred hand, "why not marry the head of the table?" I looked at the door where Silas had disappeared, then at the Reaper standing before me. "I do," I whispered. Silas thought he had ruined my life, but he only cleared the way for me to marry the monster who would burn the world down for me.
