Chapter 1

At the company's annual party, my fiancée, the CEO, was chosen for a game called "opposite-gender squats."

With the whole room cheering, she did not hesitate. She jumped onto a young male intern and wrapped her legs tightly around his waist.

He held her by the hips as he lifted and lowered her again and again, while she laughed as if she did not have a care in the world.

Then came the second round: blindfolded face recognition.

When her hands reached the intern, her fingers lingered on his lips and traced them slowly.

He suddenly licked her fingertips. Right there, in front of everyone, he smirked. "Miss Smith, your hands are really soft. The way you touched my lips just now… that felt amazing. This kind of perk beats any year-end bonus. You smell incredible, Andrea."

Her face flushed red, but she did not deny it. She only smiled, shy and pleased.

That was when I let out a cold laugh. "If you like it that much, I will assign you as the CEO's assistant. All business trips next year, you two can go together."

Her expression changed instantly. "Daniel, what is with the attitude? Can't you handle a game? It's just for fun. Why are you making such a big deal out of it? Who is going to dare play with me after this?"

"Fine. If you enjoy playing so much, then go play with him. Because that CEO seat is about to belong to someone else," I muttered.

At the annual party, the new intern, Ethan Cole, drew the game "opposite-gender squats."

"I want Miss Smith to play this game with me," he said.

The room fell quiet for a moment, then erupted into even louder whistles.

Andrea Smith wore a tight, short skirt, and I sat right below the stage. If she had any sense, or if she cared about me at all, she would refuse.

"Sure," she replied. "Since you're trying so hard, of course I'll make you happy, Ethan."

She slipped off her high heels and walked over barefoot. With practiced ease, she jumped onto Ethan. Her legs wrapped tightly around his waist, her black-stockinged thighs swaying in a way that made people dizzy.

Ethan gripped her hips and moved up and down, sometimes fast, sometimes slow. Andrea let out faint, ambiguous moans in rhythm with the motion.

The glass in my hand nearly shattered.

Someone glanced at me, their eyes full of sympathy.

When the squats ended, Ethan didn't let go. Andrea didn't get down either.

Ethan took the chance to grab her butt. I expected her to be angry, but her breathing only grew heavier. If this continued, they would likely start going at it on stage.

The host quickly intervened and moved the event to the second round: blindfolded face recognition.

Andrea was chosen.

She put on the blindfold, and several female executives stepped forward. She touched each of them, then pushed them away in apparent disgust.

Then it was Ethan's turn. He leaned in, deliberately bringing his face very close.

Andrea's fingers brushed over his brow bone and the bridge of his nose, then paused at his lips. She rubbed them several times.

Suddenly, Ethan stuck out his tongue and licked her fingertip.

The gesture was unmistakably suggestive.

Andrea pulled her hand back as if startled, but she did not get angry. Instead, she smiled shyly.

In front of hundreds of people, Ethan teased, "Miss Smith, you're really soft. I mean your hands. The way you touched my lips just now felt amazing. This perk is way better than a year-end bonus."

Andrea removed the blindfold, her cheeks flushed. She shot him a playful glare. "Such a sweet talker."

I could not hold back any longer and walked to the front of the stage.

"Since you like this perk so much, I'll arrange for you to be the CEO's assistant." I looked at Andrea, my voice calm. "That way, you two can enjoy yourselves properly."

The smile on her face froze.

She snatched the microphone and slammed it to the ground. "Daniel, what's with your sarcasm? Can't handle a game?"

She pointed at my nose and began to shout, "The annual party is just for fun. Why are you making it such a big deal? Who are you putting that dead face on for? Who would dare play with me after this?"

Ethan hid behind her, looking aggrieved. "Mr. Reed, I'm sorry. It's all my fault. I shouldn't have joked with Miss Smith…"

Andrea immediately shielded him and turned to glare at me. "Look at how sensible Ethan is. And look at you. How can your mind be so filthy?"

I watched her defend him, and in that moment, my seven years of devotion felt like a joke.
