Sister's Love for Cheater
Chapter 1
My sister was bragging about how her husband respected her during her pregnancy.
"Now that the baby's here, I really need to make it up to him!"
I reminded her that jumping into things quickly might not be the best for her health.
She took my advice and decided to wait until she completed her postpartum recovery.
But later, when she discovered her husband's infidelity, she blamed it all on me.
"If you hadn't told me to wait, he wouldn't have been drawn in by another woman!"
During a heated argument, she shoved me down the stairs, and I lost consciousness.
When I opened my eyes, it was the day she showed me the lingerie.
This time, I encouraged her: "Making it up to him sounds like a great idea! Why not aim for two kids back-to-back? He'll be thrilled!"
---
"Look, don't you think it's classy?"
The familiar voice jolted me awake.
Wasn't this the day I visited Salem, who had just given birth?
Did I get a second shot at life?
Salem was proudly displaying the lingerie she bought to show me.
"Liana, my husband has been so supportive. Throughout my pregnancy, he promised he wouldn't push me for anything! Now it's been over two weeks since the baby arrived, and I'm eager to make it up to him!"
In my previous life, I had advised her to take it slow for health reasons.
She listened and decided to wait until after her recovery to "make it up to him."
However, soon after, she found out about his affair.
In her anger, instead of confronting him or the other woman, she turned on me, blaming it all on my suggestion.
"If you hadn't told me to hold off, he wouldn't have strayed!
"Oh, I always knew it; you're just bitter!
"Bitter that I have a good marriage, and a happy life!
"Are you satisfied now? It's your fault, it's all on you!"
She chased me down, and I couldn't escape her.
Until she pushed me down the stairs, ending my life.
She had me taken to the hospital, claiming it was an accident.
After the hospital confirmed my death, she had our parents handle the arrangements immediately.
Reflecting on my past life, I could have kicked myself.
Fate must have smiled upon me to grant this second chance!
I immediately put on a bright smile and praised her.
"Wow, that's really classy! Sis, won't your husband be over the moon?!"
Salem beamed. "Of course, he's been incredibly patient these nine months!"
"Oh wow, what a gem! You should definitely make it up to him! Two kids in two years, and he'll adore you even more!"
A gem? Only because he was getting what he needed elsewhere!
Salem blushed slightly. "Actually, I've been considering it. Our first is a girl, and my mother-in-law was a bit disappointed... If everything goes smoothly, maybe I can try for another as soon as I'm finished recovering!"
I rolled my eyes internally but said out loud, "That sounds wonderful! You're amazing, sis, and in such great shape!"
After a few more compliments, I quickly found an excuse to leave.
As I opened the bedroom door, Salem's mother-in-law was lounging on the couch, scrolling through videos and snacking.
If I remembered correctly, she was eating when I first arrived.
It had been almost an hour, and she was still at it.
And the meal was one that Salem had prepared.
