She Found Her Happiness after Dumping her Fiancée

Throughout their three-year engagement, the most frequent question Michael Powell asked Kylee Steward was, "Wanna do it?" Kylee would refuse him with a flushed face. But he would coax her with tender whispers in her ear while continuing to kiss her. "I cannot control myself. I'm just attracted to you physically." Her heart melted at his sweet words, and she found herself agreeing to his unreasonable requests again and again. They had sex in various positions, by the large windows, in the office, and even in the backseat of a closed car. As the wedding date approached, Kylee took the planning documents to discuss them with Michael, only to hear a woman's seductive moans from outside the private room. It was her voice! "Whoa, Kylee looks pretty serious usually, but she's so wild in bed. Michael, you are generous to let us listen to this. When can we watch it live? How about on your wedding night?" A voice echoed while laughing. She knew it too well. I'm not going to marry her."

Chapter 1

Throughout their three-year engagement, the most frequent question Michael Powell asked Kylee Steward was, "Wanna do it?"

Kylee would refuse him with a flushed face. But he would coax her with tender whispers in her ear while keeping kissing her. "I cannot control myself. I'm just attracted to you physically."

Her heart melted at his sweet words, and she found herself agreeing to his unreasonable requests again and again.

How about on your wedding night?"

A voice echoed while laughing. She knew it too well.

"I'm not going to marry her."

Kylee froze in place, and her face turned pale. She trembled all over with cold.

Why?

Last night, he still breathlessly told her that he loved her and that he couldn't live without her.

Even those in the room seemed incredulous. "No way. Kylee has been engaged with you for three years and has been deeply devoted to you. Are you really willing to let her go?"

"Is it because of your childhood sweetheart?"

Another voice chimed in teasingly, "Back then, Michael was diagnosed with a condition that made him crave intimacy excessively, with a high demand. But Sonya was frail, and Michael couldn't bear to wear her out. At that time, he happened to be drugged and had a one-night stand with Kylee. So he continued using her to kill his addiction and got engaged to her, although her family was in decline.

I heard Michael is almost cured, so he can soon date Sonya."

Michael responded with "Hmm" to confirm it.

"It's been tough on Michael, but Kylee's looks and figure are top-notch. You've slept with her for so long. Did you really never care for her?"

The room fell silent, and Kylee felt her heart leap into her throat.

After a long pause, Michael said lazily with disdain, "She is just a means to fulfill my needs. Why do I bother caring for her?"

His short sentence pierced Kylee's heart like the sharpest arrow. She felt so much pain.

So that was the truth.

He couldn't bear to ruin Sonya, his true love, but he needed treatment. So he relentlessly pursued her after that one-night stand.

He had used flowers, gifts, money, and resources showered upon her.

When she fell ill, he put aside million-dollar projects to stay by her side and take care of her.

When all her family and friends forgot about her birthday, he celebrated grandly with her and gave her a birthday gift under the fireworks.

She fell in love with him. Her love grew over the three years of dating. She believed that he felt the same.

But it was all a facade.

She was merely a convenient option for his therapy; her supposed deep love over three years was nothing but a joke.

How foolish was she?

She had been devoted to him and dreamed of marrying him and spending the rest of her life with him.

Kylee clutched her chest in agony. Her heart was seemingly wrenched and torn. The pain was so intense that she had to bite her lip hard to avoid screaming in despair.

Taking a deep breath, she pushed the door open abruptly.

Those inside the room were startled, and their faces turned pale at the sight of her. They couldn't even speak frankly.

"Kylee, when did you get here?"

Kylee didn't answer. She only looked at Michael sitting on the leather sofa with reddened eyes.

The atmosphere inside was tense instantly.

Only Michael seemed indifferent. He said casually, "You're here just in time. I've been busy with work lately. So let's postpone the wedding by a week."

It seemed that Michael would recover in a week.

He must be planning to dump decisively after extracting every last bit of her value.

Kylee felt a bitter taste rise in her throat. She said in a hoarse voice, She said in a hoarse voice, "Don't postpone the wedding. Let's break up."

She lowered her head, took off the jade bracelet from her wrist, and put it gently before him.

It was their engagement bracelet.

Others in the room gasped. Then they looked at Michael and were worried that he would fly into a rage.

But Michael merely glanced at Kylee flatly. He even gave a faint smile. "Whatever."

Kaylee's heart trembled. He truly didn't love her, so he didn't even care about breaking up with her.

She turned to leave, as she was unwilling to stay there any longer.

"Michael, she must've heard everything. Shouldn't you go after her and console her?"

Michael's mocking voice rang out behind her. "So what if she heard everything? She loves me, and she can't break up with me. Plus, she had been toyed with by me for so long. Who in our social circle would be willing to accept her now?"

Kylee couldn't hold back any longer, and tears finally spilled over.

He had always known that she loved him. He had actually used it to toy with her and humiliate her without restraint.

She would not look back.

Since he didn't love her, she would forget about him completely.

From now on, they were strangers in the wide world.
