Chapter 1

Everyone says I have the face of an angel. However, I choose to take a knife and slash my own beautiful face.

When my twin sister sees the drastic change in my appearance, she loses it and screams at me, wanting to know why I ruined my face.

In my past life, she couldn't stop stealing food deliveries. When our next-door neighbor caught her, she shoved the pregnant woman so hard that she miscarried.

The woman was seven months along, and both she and her baby died.

But my sister just shrugged it off, bragging that she was some popular influencer, and two pathetic lives didn't matter. She even slapped down a 50-dollar bill like it was nothing, just to humiliate them.

"Still trying to scam my money? For all we know, that woman's baby was already dead inside her. Your family must've done pretty awful things to deserve losing two lives like that!"

When the dead woman's family showed up at our door with kitchen knives, ready for revenge, my sister chickened out and hid. Before that, she tricked me into coming home instead.

The second I walked up to our front door, the grief-stricken husband slashed at my neck, severing the artery. I died right there on the spot.

After I died, everyone spat on my memory. They all said I got what I deserved, and my parents covered up what my sister really did.

She even had the nerve to come forward and apologize for me, cashing in on my death while hooking up with my boyfriend. The two of them became this perfect couple online and made tons of money.

This time around, I decide to destroy my face. I want to see how she will steal my identity and pin her crimes on me now!

"An influencer in our complex just killed someone! The victim was a pregnant woman, and both she and her baby lost their lives!"

"I know, right? I just saw the pregnant woman's husband storming toward our building with a kitchen knife!"

I had just reached the elevator when I heard several middle-aged women chattering away.

I froze for a moment, feeling a phantom pain in my neck where the knife had slashed me. The scene of my brutal death in my previous life felt as vivid as ever.

Just then, I received a call from my sister, Emma Anderson. The moment I answered, her anxious yet irritated voice blasted through the phone.

"Anna, what are you dawdling for? Why aren't you here yet? Do you want me to freeze to death? Hurry up and get over here to open the door for me!"

As I listened to Emma's arrogant remarks, the hatred in my chest nearly overflowed. I forced down my resentment and brushed her off. "I'm already at the entrance. I'll be right there."

Emma had never liked me, and she had always treated me like her personal servant. Despite everything, I still spoiled and indulged her, simply because we were twins from the same womb.

Our mother had drilled it into me that I should always give in to Emma since we were kids. But I never imagined that in my past life, my sister would be the one who caused my death.

In my previous life, as I drew my last breath, I heard her whisper viciously in my ear, "Anna, why do you get to strike it rich and have some lovesick boyfriend wrapped around your finger while I'm stuck with nothing but failure, living in your shadow? Only when you're dead can I finally have everything!"

Emma had always been the weaker twin, and she eventually blamed all her misfortunes on me, convinced I had somehow stolen all the luck that should have been hers.

After she killed someone in my past life, she tricked me into taking the blame. Since we were twins, when the victim's husband saw my face, he immediately slashed my throat with a single strike. I died on the spot.

Now that I had been reborn, I was well aware of Emma's true nature. This time, I would make sure she was the one who dies!
