Revenge On My Ex Husband

Dad was so happy when I told him I was finally going back to the company. After my marriage with Andrew, he made me retire from the company so I could focus more on my marriage with him.

That was part of the reason dad's hate for him increased. Dad didn't really fancy the idea of me throwing away my career for a man but I went against dad's words and quit the company.

Soon later, Andrew joined the company through the help of Amara who managed to convince dad to let him work there. Behind the scenes, I was the one doing all of his works, writing down proposals for him while he used them to get series of promotion.

Within three years, he leveled up to the position of a director while I remained the housewife. I bet he would be so shocked to find me back in the company he plans to steal.

After my small talk with dad, I retired back to the room I shared with Andrew. I locked the door behind me and went straight into his study. I walked towards the table and pulled out the proposal Andrew had made me prepare for him two days ago.

Like I had expected, he hadn't submitted it so I removed it and replaced it with an old and already submitted proposal. Tomorrow is the day he was supposed to submit it.

I've noticed that he never reads the proposals I make for him because he doesn't even have an idea about what it was. He just goes to submit it with his name written on it and he gets the reward alone.

I know what I'm doing right now is very risky but I just can't let him continue using me like before. I really hope that he wouldn't read this one too. After I had placed the file in his drawer, I left with the original proposal and hid it in my drawers.

He hardly goes to where I keep my clothes so I was sure he wouldn't find it there. After that, I took off my clothes and hit the shower. I sighed in ecstasy as the warm water touched my body.

Being locked up in the prison had made me forget how good it feels to take a warm bath. How I missed this feeling. After washing my body thoroughly, I wrapped a towel around my body.

I was about to head into the closet when I heard an aggressive knock on the door. The only person that would have the guts to knock like that was Andrew so I rushed into the closet to put on a fresh set of pajamas because I didn't want any accidents.

After I had worn my pajamas, I walked towards the door and opened it, revealing Andrew's frustrated face.

"Why did you lock the door?" He asked as he pushed me out of the way aggressively and walked in.

"I.. umh.. I wanted to take a shower." I lied.

"Really??" He asked as he gave me a very suspicious look.

"Yes.. I didn't want to be interrupted."

With a disgusted face, he muttered under his breath; "Like I would ever want to watch you take a shower.." His words pierced my heart like a sharp knife. Never in my life have I been humiliated this way. All these hurtful words were coming from him of all people.

I tried so hard to act like I didn't hear what he said. " I'm going to bed now." I said to him before walking towards the bed and I laid on it. I was about to shut my eyes when he walked towards me and handed over to me some pills.

"Your supplements." He said as he fetched me a cup of water. I gave him a small smile and put the drugs in my mouth before taking a small sip of the water.

He watched me carefully and made sure I had swallowed the pills before he left to take a shower. When I was sure he had gone, I spat out the pills I hid under my tongue and placed them in my pajamas pocket.

After that, I shut my eyes and acted like I was deep asleep. Some minutes later, I heard the door to our room open from the outside and someone entered.

The footsteps grew louder before it slowly faded away into the bathroom. Then, I heard giggles and soft moans coming from the bathroom. They didn't even care if I was in the room too.

The giggles grew louder and that was when I realised that they were already in the room so I remained in my spot so they wouldn't know I was faking it. I felt the other side of the bed press down. They were really going to do their business next to me??

"Wait... wait.." I heard Andrew's voice.

"What's wrong??" Amara asked.

"Are you sure you fed him the drugs? We can't risk getting caught." The room was dark at that time so I opened my eyes to watch them. I couldn't see them well, just a little. They were so engrossed with what they were doing that they didn't know I was staring at them.

"Don't worry. I made sure he swallowed the drugs. At the moment, not even a loud bell can wake him up." Amara whispered as she pecked him softly on the lips.

"Good girl. Now we can continue in peace." Andrew said and was about to resume kissing her but was stopped by her index finger on his lips.

"Not so fast." She muttered.

"Why? What's wrong?" Andrew asked in confusion.

"What was the meaning of that stunt you pulled with Catherine earlier today??" She asked, referring to the hug we shared.

"I didn't expect that she would embrace me."

"Why were you apologizing to her???" She asked again, her voice laced with pure jealousy.

"I only did that to get her to stop thinking about divorcing me. She just mentioned a divorce out of the blue and I knew talking some sense to her might not work so I decided to do that so she would think I am still in love with her." I knew it, he always had an hidden agenda for every move he makes.

"Don't do that again. You know how jealous I get whenever you act like you care about her." Amara said as she showed him a sad eye.

"I'm sorry my love. I just did what I had to do to get our plan going. Don't worry, after submitting my proposal tomorrow and I get my reward, I'll treat you to a fancy dinner date and buy you whatever you want"

"Really??" Amara asked in a giddy voice.

"Yes baby.. anything for you." He said as he placed a lingering peck on her cheeks.

Amara giggled and kissed him passionately on his lips. He pulled her closer amd turned her around so she was laying underneath him. He took off his towel and tore her wey night dress away from her body.

I quickly shut my eyes before I would see anything that would give me nightmares. Through out the night, I couldn't sleep as all that could be heard was Amara's loud moans, Andrew's animalistic grunts and the sound of their skin hitting against each other.

*The next day*

I had dark circles underneath my eyes dye to the fact that I wasn't able to sleep well last night. Thankfully, Amara had left to the room she shared with my father but I could still smell the aftermath of the sex they shared.

I covered my nose in disgust and went into the closet to prepare the suit Andrew was to wear as he was still sleeping. I still had to act like I was performing my duties to him.

After I had done that, I woke him up and he had his bath, put on his suit and left the house with his suitcase containing the 'file' he was supposed to submit.

He didn't say one word to me all through and I was grateful for that. After he had left, I had my own bath and picked out the fanciest outfit in my wardrobe. Today's my first day at the company since I got married so I have to dress to impress.

I sat in front of my mirror and applied light make up on my face. After that, I combed down my long hair and picked it up in a tight bun. I gave myself one last look and smiled in satisfaction.

I picked up my handbag and brought out the file from my closet. After that, I walked towards my father's room. I knocked softly on the door and entered after he told me to enter.

"You're ready." He said with a wide smile while I answered with a small nod.

"Are you guys going somewhere?" Amara asked when she noticed how I was dressed.

"Catherine has finally decided to go back to the company." Dad announced and Amara's mouth dropped open in shock.

"What?? Why??"

"Why not?? It's high time I resumed my spot in the company." I said with a wide smile playing on my lips.

"What would Andrew say about this??"

"What is he supposed to say? Amara's my daughter and that means she has a right to my company." Dad deadpanned and that made Amara speechless.

"Let's go dad." I muttered and helped him pick up his briefcase before we left the house together, leaving behind Amara's shocked and angry face.

I could already imagine how furious Andrew would look when he sees me at the company today. Don't worry Andrew, just be prepared for the greatest shock and embarrassment of your life. It's payback time!!
