Redeemed in Blood

Redeemed in Blood

Amelia Manson married the mafia boss Cristian Patel for three years and got kidnapped by his enemies 99 times. To save her, Cristian broke fingers and ribs and spent hundreds of millions just to keep Amelia safe. After the 100th rescue, Amelia rushed to the hospital. But outside the ward, she overheard Cristian, who had just woken from a coma, confess to his female subordinate that he regretted everything. Cristian said to her, "Amelia, I'll send you abroad. This place really isn't right for you." Amelia sensibly pulled out the divorce papers. "Divorce will make things safer." Cristian thought this was their usual fake divorce agreement. But he didn't know the papers were real and that she was truly exhausted. This time, he would never find her again.

Chapter 2

As soon as they reached the villa, Cristian did not even get out of the car. He turned around and drove away immediately. Amelia's mother, Ellen Manson, hurried forward in heartache to support her daughter. She spoke with a choked voice. "Just this month alone, you got kidnapped three times. This isn't a life anyone should live. Amelia, I beg you, divorce Cristian. I don't want to bury my own child." Back when Amelia married Cristian, Ellen had strongly opposed it. But Amelia had been enveloped in Cristian's intense and profound love. She refused to believe the day would come when everything fell apart. Recalling the past and comparing it to the present, Amelia felt the irony cut deep into her bones. "Okay, Mom, let's go." Ellen froze for a moment. Then she cried and laughed at the same time. She laughed because her daughter had finally seen reason. Once she left, she would never suffer like this again. But she also ached for her daughter who had endured so much pain. As the mother and daughter discussed how to leave, the door suddenly got kicked open. "Amelia, why don't you just die already?" Natalie rushed in and grabbed Amelia by the throat. "Cristian just got injured and hasn't recovered yet, but he had to go rescue you after another kidnapping. What are you good for besides dragging him down?" Ellen lunged forward to save her daughter, but Natalie kicked her hard against the wall. Amelia saw her mother injured and threw herself at Natalie to push her away. Natalie yanked her up by the hair. "Amelia, you still think you're his wife. He doesn't want you anymore. He's sending you away. You no longer have the right to act superior in front of me." Amelia looked at her unconscious mother on the floor. Panic burned inside her. "Natalie, let me go. Aren't you afraid Cristian will kill you if he sees this?" Natalie curled her lips into a smile. "Then I'll let you see exactly how much you still matter to him now." With those words, Natalie picked up a nearby vase and smashed it against her own head. She turned quickly. Blood streamed down her face as she met the eyes of Cristian who had just arrived. Cristian narrowed his eyes. His cold gaze passed over her to Amelia. "Amelia, I want to hear your explanation." Before Amelia could speak, Natalie shook her head casually. "It's nothing. I won't die." Cristian's face darkened. He walked slowly toward Amelia, step by step, and stood between her and Natalie. "Do you know how much effort Natalie put in to save you? Do you know that soon she'll have to go out and bow in apology for the losses you caused the company? She'll drink and make amends? Amelia, you've always been so willful. I'm really tired." He took a deep breath and stepped aside so the two women faced each other. "Apologize." Amelia stared at him in disbelief. She saw only stern authority and deep disappointment on his face. Pain stabbed through her chest. She lost all strength to explain. "Cristian, when will you send me away?" Cristian's expression grew even grimmer. "Amelia, you hit someone and can't even apologize? Or have I spoiled you all these years so much that you no longer respect my people?" Tears welled at the corners of Amelia's eyes. Once upon a time, this man could notice if she lost even a few strands of hair. Now he ignored the strangulation marks on her neck. She let out a bitter laugh. "In that case, hurry and send me abroad. Before I get kidnapped again and waste your time and energy rescuing me." "Amelia, you..." The phone ring interrupted Cristian. After taking the call, he frowned and hurried away with Natalie. Amelia collapsed to the floor as if all her strength vanished. Only bitterness remained inside her. "Mom, help me find a lawyer to draft the papers. Before I leave, I'll find a way to divorce Cristian."

My Five Alpha Beast Husbands Don't Know I'm Deadly
7.5
In the Kingdom of Everspire, a celestial omen appears once every thousand years, the Blood Moon Prophecy. It chooses one woman to mate-bond with five Alpha wolves, each ruling a different pack. If she fails to unite them, the kingdom will fall to the Void Beasts that hunt in the shadows. This year, it chose me, and all five of my fated Alpha mates rejected our bond. I was the packless wolfless orphan no one wants. They don't know I'm the Silver Phantom, the realm's most feared masked rogue wolf who's slaughtered corrupt Alphas for a decade. They don't know I'm the Last Moonblood, heir to the ancient Celestial Pack that was supposed to be exterminated. They don't know I'm a True Alpha-stronger than any wolf alive-who's mastered nine ancient powers: primal magic, battle strategy, healing arts, divine shifting, and more. And they definitely don't know I'm the only one who can stop the Demon King of the Void from breaking through and destroying all shifter-kind. The Crown Prince Alpha thought bonding with me would weaken his bloodline. Now he corners me in the hallways, his voice low and desperate "You belong to me, Lysandra. At my side. In my bed. Under my protection. Your wolf calls to mine-don't you dare deny what burns between us." The General Alpha believed I'd be a liability on the battlefield. Now he drops to one knee before me after I ended a war he couldn't win, his eyes burning gold. "I was a god-damned fool. You're not just my mate. You're my Alpha. My equal in everything. I'll kill anyone who tries to take you from me. Say you'll stay." The Grand Sorcerer Alpha was convinced I had no wolf, no power, nothing became obsessed. "Your power passes mine. You're Mine. I've searched centuries for a mate worthy of me, and you've been here all along. Don't you dare hide from me again." The Merchant Heir Alpha called me forgettable. Now he traces the scars on my face like they're sacred. "I was blind and stupid. You're the most exquisite creature I've ever seen. Let me spend eternity proving I'm worthy of you. Let me worship you the way I should have from the moment we met." The Shadow Guardian Alpha refused to even acknowledge my existence. Now he stalks me through the darkness, his voice a rough whisper against my neck. "I've hunted you for years without knowing my prey was my mate. You're the only wolf strong enough to stand beside me. The only one I'll ever submit to. You own me, little phantom. Whether you accept it or not." And now all five of them are obsessed with me. Possessive and Feral with need. Too bad I'm the one in control now. And I have a Demon King to kill.
She Hid Her Crown, Now Reigns

I spent a year scrubbing floors in my fiancé’s club, hiding my identity as the daughter of the Capo dei Capi. I needed to know if Connor Bishop was a King worth merging empires with, or just a puppet. The answer came walking in wearing a neon pink dress. Jaden Juarez, a civilian he was infatuated with, didn't just treat me like a servant; she deliberately poured scalding espresso over my hand because I refused to be her valet. The pain was blinding, my skin blistering instantly. I video-called Connor, showing him the burn, expecting him to enforce the code of our world. Instead, seeing his investors watching, he panicked. He chose to sacrifice me to save face. "Get on your knees," he roared through the speaker. "Beg her pardon. Show her the respect she deserves." He wanted the daughter of the most dangerous man on the East Coast to kneel to his mistress. He thought he was showing strength. He didn't realize he was looking at a woman who could burn his entire world to ash with a single phone call. I didn't cry. I didn't beg. I simply hung up the phone and locked the kitchen doors. Then, I dialed the one number everyone in the underworld feared. "Dad," I said, my voice cold as steel. "Code Black. Bring the papers." "And send the wolves."
