Chapter 6

"Put me down now" I yelled at Killian as I struggled to get down from his legs.

But the  more I screamed, the more his grip on me tightened.

He  didn't take the route I passed through  while coming but instead he  took a different direction.

I could see  his car pack at the far end of the garage, he put  me inside the car ignoring my plea and  then shut the door not after putting the seat belt  around  me.

My eyes immediately scanned over as I watched him walk to the other side of the car.

The moment he gets in  he drives off.

As I sat there I could feel the drinks begin to have its high effect on me and that wildness that I had been holding all this time was threatening to come out at this point.

My hands slowly reached for the seat belt and I removed it.

Killian immediately turns to look at me as the displeased look washed all over  his face.

"Stop the car Killian, stop the goddamn car  and  let me out" I yelled  at him.

You're drunk, Tessa,  he snapped, his eyes fixed on the road. You're fucking drunk.

I ripped off the seatbelt glaring at him "I said stop the fucking car what gives you the right to drag me out of the club like I'm a teenager.

For fuck said You're not my father Killian and I don't like you not even one bit so stop acting all protective about  me and stop the fucking car.

The car halts immediately.

Killian turns to face me, his expression  cold, strong  and unreadable. His knuckles tightened around the steering before he finally  lets out a deep breath

"Get out" he muttered under his breath.

I blinked, confused. What?

Killian" I called, unable to believe what I had  just heard.

His voice drops darker this time "I said get out of the fucking car  before I  make you"

For a second, I looked at  him , unable to believe what I had just heard.

Before I could even comprehend what was happening, the door on my side flew open and I was being dragged out  as the cold night hit my skin.

Learn some fucking manners young lady, he growled at me his eyes burning into mine. " I'm not your fucking friend  he says and  let's go of me.

I stumbled back as my skin touched the floor and right there in front of me ,I watched him drive away, leaving me in the cold dark night.

The road was empty and dry as I looked around if I could see any ride, but with every moment that passed  by  I knew that I had been left alone on an empty road with no one to call.

I place a call across to my mom but the call goes straight to voicemail and the same happens with Nicolas' number.

I walked on the silent  road, my eyes scanning around the area to look for any passing vehicle.

The thought that Killian could leave me here made me scared.

In my next few minutes of walking the sky rumbled loudly  and soon it was pouring heavily.

Walking in a heavy rain  was the last thing on my mind but every minute made my heart burn.

I didn't want to blame myself that all of this is my fault but  a part of me can't help it. I knew  I had my hands in this.

But why would Killian be this cruel  to me, the hatred he had for me was  second to none  he left me in the rain  alone not minding if I was safe or not.

There was no way I'm spending  another day in that mansion with him, it was either I get my place or I move out.

My teeth gritted uncontrollably as I walked in the ugly cold rain, my phone was soaked  from the water but since it was water resistant, I had no fear  of   it getting spoiled.

Somehow I was able to  remember the road to his house but the distance wasn't something that I would think of as I walked out of the road I noticed the car approaching behind me.

As the car got even closer it slowed down and dragged down the windscreen.

Two men stocked their heads out of the car, one casting me a dissatisfied glance.

"Get in the car" the man says gently as if trying to lure me in.

I looked  at him, there was something familiar about them that I knew but there was no way in hell that I was getting into a car with two unknown men on a quiet road.

"Thank you, but I will walk," I  replied as I increased  my pace.

I heard the guy by the right mutter something under his breath.

We are Killian's best friends and I promise we won't bite.

"I said, I would walk," I replied again as  I increased my  pace.

I heard the guy on the steering whisper something under his breath  but they both stopped bothering.

In the next hour, I walked in the rain but instead of them  leaving    they  rode their car behind me until I got to the mansion.

When the security  saw me  I saw the way his face twisted as if he couldn't believe this was real.

Ignoring the look  on his face  I walked into the mansion and the first thing I noticed was  Killian.

He sat by the dining  a cup of coffee in his hands and  there was a fucking book.

He left me in the rain and  he sat here reading a fucking book  not minding if I was safe or not the bastard.

The moment I stepped in , Killian raised his face from the book he had been reading.

He stared at me, looking cold and distant but  he didn't say one word  but instead he  looked back and continued reading, acting like I didn't even exist.

My heart arched for  the first time and I felt that kind of pain that I hadn't felt for anyone before.

Somehow I  wondered why  it hurt this much. I knew he hated me but never did I think his hatred was enough to leave me stranded on an empty road.

Killian might be a cold hearted bastard but I don't care , I was going to make him pay for leaving me in that rain.
