My Fiancé Cheated on me with my Best Friend
On the eve of the wedding, I accidentally touched the dashcam in the car of my fiancé, Tobias Ford.
I heard his heavy breathing, and His bare back dominated the screen.
I blushed instantly.
He and I both enjoyed the thrill and often had sex in the car, so I felt a bit embarrassed to watch the replay.
But the next moment, I froze.
A female voice, not mine, rang out. "Honey, how much longer do we have to put up with that silly woman? I'm pregnant now."
Tobias said with a chuckle, "As soon as the wedding is over and I trick her into handing over her family's assets, I will divorce her. I've already transferred her apartment to me. She plans to live there with me after we get married. It'll be our home from now on."
As the scene intensified, the woman hidden in his embrace finally showed her face.
It was my best friend, Stacey Sanderson.
They were holding hands and wearing the matching rings I'd picked out.
The timestamp in the corner showed it was the evening of two days ago.

Chapter 5
The moment the LED screen lit up, Tobias's heavy breathing and Stacey's soft moans filled the banquet hall.
The applause abruptly ceased, and the room fell into an awkward silence.
The guests' smiles froze. Their gazes were a mix of shock, disdain, and disbelief, like countless needles piercing Tobias and Stacey.
Tobias stared at the screen, and his face turned pale and then became a deep, unhealthy red.
His lips trembled, and he couldn't utter a coherent sentence for a long moment. "No... This isn't true! It's doctored! Someone is framing me!"
Stacey panicked as well and instinctively covered her abdomen.
But she tried to maintain composure and tugged at Tobias's sleeve.
She forced a stiff smile toward the guests and said, "Please don't misunderstand us. This must be a prank! Effie, are you too nervous and accidentally playing the wrong video? Turn it off now!"
As she spoke, she venomously glared at me.
But soon, her eyes brimmed with tears. "Effie, I know you've been feeling down lately, but you can't joke about something like this. I'm your best friend, and Tobias is your fiancé. How could we betray you?"
Stacey's words seemed to awaken Tobias, and he suddenly snapped back to reality and tried to maintain an affectionate demeanor. "She's right, Effie. This is a maliciously edited video meant to ruin our wedding. Trust me, I've only ever loved you in my life. How could I be involved with Stacey, who is so mannish?"
As he spoke, he glanced at Stacey with disdain.
It looked more convincing than the video call yesterday evening.
Stacey's eyes briefly flashed with resentment, but she quickly concealed it. "Exactly, Effie, you know Tobias and I don't get along. How could we be together? Besides, why would I do something to hurt you?"
The guests began whispering among themselves. Some of them were skeptical, and others showed contempt.
Several of Tobias's friends stood up to smooth things over.
"That's right. It's definitely a misunderstanding. We know Tobias well, and he loves Effie dearly. How could he betray her? This video is clearly fabricated—way too fake!"
"Exactly, Effie. Don't overthink. Someone must be jealous and created this prank."
Upon hearing those words, Stacey's panic gradually faded, and she subtly lifted her chin.
A hint of smugness flashed in her eyes.
She seemed to be certain that I had no other evidence and that I had to let them deny everything.
She gently caressed her abdomen and said in a more aggrieved tone, "Effie, I know you might not trust me, but I truly haven't betrayed you. Even if I... even if I'm pregnant recently, it's only because I've found true love."
Her words caused an uproar in the room.
She was clearing herself up and even subtly suggested I was petty.
Tobias furrowed his brows and echoed in a heavy tone, "Effie, look at what you've done. You pushed Stacey to say that.
Even if she's pregnant with another guy's baby, it has nothing to do with us. Can't you let it go?"
Their synchronized act made it seem like I was unreasonable and tarnishing their reputation.
A few elders were unaware of the truth and began stopping me. "Effie, don't act impulsively. Since Tobias has said so, it must be a misunderstanding. Turn off the video, and don't make a scene in front of so many people."
I leaned against the stage edge, arms crossed, and gave a cold smile.
The more I watched their smugness, the deeper my hatred grew.
I wanted to see them crash at the peak of their triumph.
Seeing my silence, Tobias was not panicked at all.
He approached me step by step and attempted to hold my hand. "Effie, I'm sorry for the grievances you've suffered. It's all my fault for not foreseeing others' malicious intent. Can you forgive me? Let's continue the wedding and live happily ever after. Alright?"
As his hand was about to touch mine, I stepped back to avoid it.
I said coldly, "Have you finished your words?"

I never expected to be branded a 'fake heiress' and a 'scheming bitch' on my own wedding anniversary.
"Did you really think we'd never find out you faked the DNA test?" My mother's voice cut like a blade. "You've been impersonating our real daughter all along."
The irony was suffocating. They were the ones who stormed into my peaceful life, insisting that I was their long-lost child-no proof needed. And now they dared to call me the fraud.
"Since Camille has finally returned to where she belongs," my father declared coldly, "it's time for you to crawl back into whatever shadow you came from."
Then came the final blow. My husband of five years didn't even hesitate.
"I'll have the divorce papers drawn up immediately. Don't make this difficult, Mirena. You were never meant to be my wife."
Overnight, I was discarded. The scandal of the city. The woman who stole a life that was never hers.
But they forgot one thing: I never needed them.
Before I was George Ashton's wife, I was Mirena Sterling-the Investment Queen. The woman who broke Wall Street records before she turned twenty-five. A racing champion. A tech prodigy.
I walked away from all of it. Gave up my empire. My crown. My name. All for a man who threw me away like garbage the moment someone "better" came along.
Big mistake.
On the night they cast me out, soaking wet and humiliated, I ran into the last person I ever wanted to see.
"Look at you now, Mirena," Alexander Pierce murmured, watching me with those piercing eyes. "The woman who once ruled the financial world. Reduced to this." He tilted his head. "And for what? Love?" A dark laugh. "Pathetic."
My former rival. The man who spent years trying to beat me-and never once succeeded. Now he stood before me, a Wall Street titan, watching my downfall with hungry satisfaction.
He thought he'd seen the last of me.
He was wrong.
The game was simple now: drop the dead weight, reclaim what's mine, and remind everyone why they feared my name.
Within months, I was back. Every market moved when I breathed. Every headline screamed my return. The Sterlings came crawling, begging for mercy they'd never shown me. And George? He watched in horror as I bought his most prized company without blinking.
The divorce he'd so eagerly signed? His greatest regret.
"Mirena, please," he begged, groveling at my feet. "Give me another chance."
I didn't even look at him. "Sorry, darling. I don't recycle trash."
But what I didn't expect was him.
Alexander Pierce dropped to one knee in front of me-the man who had once mocked my fall, now looking up with something raw and undisguised in his crimson gaze.
"I knew you'd take back everything they stole," he said, voice low. "Now..." A slow, dangerous smile curved his lips. "Take me too."

I was the Stanton family heiress, engaged to the President's son to secure a vital military alliance.
But he cornered me in the White House sitting room, slamming a thick manila folder onto the marble table.
"I said, sign the annulment agreement, Hester."
He looked at me like I was dirt, demanding I step aside so he could be with a manipulative intern named Tricia.
In my past life, I was a naive lamb. I cried and begged him not to end it. My devotion was rewarded with absolute cruelty. He ordered my bones broken and my reputation completely shredded. My trusted assistant forced poison down my throat, and I was left to die with a rope burning my neck.
Until my last breath, I didn't understand. I had done everything perfectly for the family. Why did my unwavering loyalty only bring me a gruesome death? Why did the monsters who tortured me get to live happily in the highest seats of power?
Opening my eyes again, the suffocating terror of the noose suddenly washed away. I was sixteen again, staring at the exact same annulment papers.
"Hester, please. Just let us be happy," Tricia whimpered, reaching out her trembling hand.
This time, I didn't cry. I picked up the solid gold fountain pen, stabbed it violently through the center of the contract, and prepared to drag the entire First Family straight to hell.

I took the fall for my sister and endured three years of torment in prison.
My knee was shattered, my body covered in scars, and I almost lost my life in that "accident".
On the day I was released, clinging to the last shred of hope, I ran toward my fiancé Benito’s Maybach—only to hear his cold voice: "Your existence is just a nuisance."
It turned out that the beatings and cigarette burns in prison were all arranged by him, paid for with his money. It turned out that the sister I had protected with all my heart had long been switching my medicine behind my back, hoping I would be completely crippled.
At the family gala, they joined hands to strip me bare in front of the flashing camera lights. My father slapped me hard across the face and roared: "Why didn’t you just die in prison?"
I smiled and tore apart my tattered dress, then dialed the number I had hidden in my heart for three years—the man who only understood blood for blood, his voice hoarse and alluring: "Turn around."
This time, I will no longer be a toy to be manipulated.
I will tear off their masks and burn the Stafford family to the ground.
By the way, I will take back everything that belongs to me—including him, the one hiding in the shadows.
