Chapter 2

His name was Rex Wilder.

I couldn't help thinking the name fit. There was something untamed about him.

Right there in the theater, he had me pressed back against the seat, kissing me while his hand slid under my clothes, tracing along my waist.

The way he kissed me was intense, almost overwhelming. It left me a little breathless.

My face burned as I glanced around, trying not to make it obvious.

Luckily, we were tucked into a corner. No one seemed to notice what was going on.

"Focus."

His hand slipped further under my clothes, reaching into my bra and grabbing my bosom. I let out a soft gasp before I could stop myself.

The sound startled me. I clamped my mouth shut right away.

"You sound better than the lead in the movie."

The comment made my cheeks heat up even more, but there was a strange thrill in it, too.

His touch wasn't clumsy. There was a certain confidence in the way he moved, and the roughness of his hands only made everything feel sharper, more real.

I had never imagined I would end up in a situation like this, with a man, in a place like this.

My head tipped back slightly, my body responding before I could think it through.

Rex seemed to notice every reaction, every shift in my breathing, every small movement. He started intentionally brushing the calloused pads of his fingers against my most sensitive places.

A soft sound slipped from my lips before I could hold it back.

"Careful," he murmured with a faint smile. "We're not exactly alone. You want people to notice?"

I opened my eyes, face flushed, my gaze unsteady.

"That's…because…you…"

"Alright, alright. I'll stop."

Just like that, he pulled his hand away.

The sudden absence left me feeling oddly empty. Before I could stop myself, I grabbed his wrist. I bit my lip, unable to say what I was thinking.

"Say one thing, mean another," he murmured, leaning in and brushing near my ear.

A quiet sound slipped out of me, my body going softer.

"Let me see if you're wet already."

I froze for a second, realizing what he was about to do.

This was still a movie theater!

There were people sitting just a row ahead of us.

Panic flickered through me. I tried to stop him, but my strength felt like it had drained away. My thoughts slowed, slipping out of focus.

His hand moved lower, pressing against me through my pants.

"Ha. Just as I thought. Soaked."

My face burned hotter, my heart pounding wildly.

By then, his hand had already undone the button, pulled down the zipper, and slipped deftly beneath my underwear.

The moment he touched me, my legs trembled despite myself.

A moment later, the tub of popcorn slipped from my lap and hit the floor.

The sound made a few guys in the row ahead turn around.

My whole body locked up. I didn't dare move.

What was more embarrassing was that the shock sent me over the edge on the spot, my body convulsing as I soaked his hand in a shameful rush.

Luckily, the seats blocked their view. They couldn't see what was happening in our row.

Rex, on the other hand, didn't seem bothered at all. He gave an easy, casual smile. "Sorry, dropped the popcorn. Didn't mean to interrupt."

"It's fine."

The guys turned back to the movie.

Rex glanced at me, the corner of his mouth lifting. "Scared you? You're reacting more than you think."

With that, he deliberately pressed a finger against my slick, wet center.

The moment he touched me, I let out a quiet, unsteady breath, my legs instinctively pressing together. "Stop… It feels weird…"

He chuckled softly. "Then why hold on like that? What do you actually want me to do?"

I knew how I must look to him right now. Flushed, unsteady, caught somewhere between resisting and giving in.

"What's that? Smells like something sweet."

A voice from the row ahead cut in suddenly, confused.

I froze completely. I pressed my legs together tighter, my hands overlapping in front of me, not daring to move at all.

Beside me, Rex just smiled.
