stopped at a strong smell but strangely good, and my wolf started saying something inside me. I couldn't tell what she was saying. So excited, I looked up at the owner of the smell, and as soon as my brown eyes met his blue eyes, my wolf screamed to my "mate" that the alpha, William, is my companion. Chapter 2

Allison's POV"But you, like his little sister, will take care of you." He answered me, Let's go into the house. I went to the kitchen and found my food was there."Thank you, Megan," sent to her via telepathy. She replied, She must be making Zack sleep., I finished my food and went to my room, grabbed my bag to collect my clothes.Andrew is my cousin; my mother is the sister of his father, who was the home of the Red Moon Flock, and Andrew took his position. He used to come here from time to time to visit us, and he was always like a brother to me.The Red Moon Flock I've never been, but I know a lot about him and his Alpha. It's a herd far from ours by four hours or more by driving, and also they have a large land area and more people. The thing that made them bigger is because of the Alpha, William. His parents died at the age of , and as the only heir, he took his father's position. But when the other herds heard about this, they tried to take advantage of it and take his herd, thinking that only a 16-year-old boy would be able to do anything, but they were wrong. One can attack that herd or even think of approaching it. Fortunately, our herd is on good terms with it, and since the betta is a cousin, that is easy.I closed my bag and put it on the floor before I showered and fell asleep.Allison's POVI locked the trunk when I put my bag in and went to say goodbye to my brother and Megan, and Zack went to school."Then I have to go; it takes hours.""Know, drive carefully, and if you encounter any difficulty, contact me immediately, and also I hope that you will not cause any problems there, as you know that the alpha there does not give second chances.""Are you saying I'm a troublemaker?""No, my little sister is an angel; don't make any trouble." He answered me, making us laugh before I hugged him."Goodbye, Alison," Megan said while hugging me.I got in my car and waved at them before I started on my way. Maybe it wouldn't be bad to get a little bit out of here and from the pain here.A couple of months ago, one of the guys younger than me that I was training was walking in the frontier and noticed that there were Rogs and Rogs. On that day, he saw a number of them in our area and immediately reported it to my brother and through all of our telepathy.I was a little close to the border, and when I heard that, I ran to him because I knew he would attack them even if the Alpha ordered him not to do so. I ran quickly to find them; they caught him. I started attacking with all my strength, but they killed him and tried to kill me too. At that moment my brother and the warriors came and killed them. I could erase the image of the moment of his death from my mind and only distracted myself in training. That's why I hate the Rogues; they killed my mom and dad in front of my eyes, and now they're still killing the people in my life. After driving for four hours, I stopped in front of the entrance to the herd, which had a large door, and one of the guards was advancing."The name?" he asked me."Allison," I answered him to search his papers before he signaled to the guards and they opened the door for me. I entered through the gate and stopped in an area where cars are parked like a parking lot. I got out of the car and opened my trunk to take out my bag."Do you need help, beautiful lady?" I smiled at the voice I knew before turning around."No, thank you, sir," I replied."Come here, I miss you." He opened his arms to hug him."How are you, Andrew?" I asked my cousin."Good, what about you?""Okay," I replied, so we could part from our lap."Then let's go." I grabbed my bag, parked my car, and walked in front of him."So how is Adele?" I asked about his girlfriend."She's excited that you'll be with us since I told her, and she's just talking about you," he said, smiling. We walked toward the road, and I began to watch my surroundings. There were several houses scattered about, and it was like a small town."There is the herd house." Andrew pointed to the large house at the end of the road."On that side is the hospital," he pointed to the right side."Now let's go to my house." We walked in front of a medium-sized house, and it was beautiful. He opened the door so that his girlfriend, Adele, jumped up and hugged me."Alison, how are you?""Good, and you, Adele?""I'm good too. You don't know how excited I am for you to come; I'm really happy.""Thank you, Adele."She's a nice person. No, she's not my girlfriend. I'm someone who doesn't make friends, and also I prefer being alone, so we can say that Adele is a member of my family."Come on, let's go in and eat. I've made your favorite food. I called Megan and asked her," she said as she pushed me home."You really shouldn't have done that, Adele," I told her."You don't have to be tactful with me, Alison; I love doing this," she answered, looking at Andrew."I told you she is very excited." I smiled, and we sat down at the table, and we began to eat, and after I finished, I asked to wash the dishes, but Adele refused, and so I went with Andrew to show me my room."Here is your room." We entered the room, and Andrew put my bag on the floor."Then tell me," I told him."What?""Rules! What should I do, what should I not do, and so on?" He laughed at my question."There is no such thing as 'I know you are doing well,' and you are not a child to tell you that."So when do I start training???"Wait a minute. You'll start tomorrow, not today. It's been half a day anyway, and Austin has told me what happened, and I know that's the reason you came here.""Yes, that's what happened." I said to him, looking at me worriedly."Are you well?""Andrew, I'm really fine; don't worry. I think being here will help me.""I hope so, but if you want to talk or anything, I'm here," he told me."I know, thank you, Andrew.""Why are you getting smarter? Is it because you're twenty years old?" He told me, "Let's laugh together," before he went out and lay down on the bed. Since I wouldn't do anything today, I could sleep.

I stared at the two pink lines on the pregnancy test, my hands trembling so badly I nearly dropped it into the chipped sink of the Omega quarters. Three years. Three years of stolen moments in Sebastian's office after midnight, of whispered promises in the dark, of believing that love could somehow bridge the gap between an Alpha heir and a wolfless Omega like me. Now I had proof that our connection was real. Undeniable. I pressed my palm against my still-flat stomach, a nervous smile tugging at my lips. This changed everything. Sebastian would have to acknowledge me now. He'd defy his father, Marcus Stone, and claim me as his true mate. We'd finally stop hiding.

I was measuring the training hall when Marcus found me. Not measuring, exactly. I had the blueprints spread across the folding table, a pencil tucked behind my ear, and I was thinking about whether the east-facing windows needed to be wider. More light in the mornings. The warriors trained hard and they deserved good light. That was the kind of thing I thought about on a Tuesday. Marcus appeared in the doorway at nine-fifteen. His face was the careful, neutral kind — the face he wore when he was delivering something he didn't want to deliver. "The Alpha would like to see you," he said. "His office." That was all.

I knew something was wrong the moment he stopped touching me. Colton had a way of going still that the rest of the pack had learned to fear. That absolute, pressurized stillness — no pacing, no raised voice, just the air in the room pulling tight like a wire about to snap. I had seen it used on warriors twice his size. I had never had it turned on me. Until tonight. He was already dressed. I was still sitting on the edge of his bed, my hair loose, the sheets warm behind me, the room thick with the scent of honeysuckle and rain — my scent, the one he had told me once, in a rare unguarded moment, that he could pick out from three territories away. He was standing at the window with his back to me, and something about the set of his shoulders made my wolf go very quiet inside my chest. "I'm taking Natalie Larson as my chosen mate," he said.

Just hours after I endured a grueling labor to give Kaelen, my fated mate and the Alpha, two beautiful twins, he walked into the infirmary. Instead of holding our newborns, his Alpha aura pinned me to the bed as he coldly announced, "I reject you as my mate." He claimed I reeked of another Alpha. His sister Vanessa threw a stack of photos at my face, showing me at a cafe with a broad-shouldered man. Before I could even explain, Kaelen forced a pen into my trembling hand while I was still bleeding, making me sign away my parental rights. His mother then snatched my newborn son Liam from the crib. "Take the girl and get out of my territory," Kaelen commanded, leaving me in the freezing room with my severed mate-bond and my crying daughter. I didn't understand how our sacred bond could be shattered by a single fake photo, or how my fated mate could be so blind and ruthless as to rip my baby from my arms. Five years later, his precious heir is dying, and Kaelen desperately needs an alliance and a bone marrow donor. But when he finally sees me at a high-society gala, he doesn't find a broken, exiled Omega. He finds me standing beside that very same "lover"—Dominic, the Alpha of the Silverwood Pack, my older brother. And this time, I am the one holding the blade.

The Moonrise Pack gathering sparkled with crystal chandeliers and the soft murmur of pack politics. I smoothed down my simple navy dress—modest compared to the glittering gowns around me—and searched the crowded great hall for Ryan. My heart quickened at the thought of seeing him after his week-long absence negotiating territories. I spotted him across the room, commanding attention in his tailored black suit, his chestnut hair perfectly styled. Even from a distance, his presence made my chest tighten with pride. This was my Alpha, my mate—though not yet officially marked. *He looks so powerful tonight,* I thought, watching pack members bow their heads respectfully as he passed. *Something feels wrong,* Selene, my wolf, whispered in my mind. *Be careful.* I brushed aside her concern. Selene had always been protective, but tonight was about celebrating Ryan's success.
