Chapter 5

Ariana's POV

My mum finally left my bedroom, after she had made sure I had stopped crying.

I had made a wrong decision before, but from now, I'm never going to repeat it again, and I'm also going to make sure my mum gives her concerns on everything that I want to do, before I go ahead with it.

I thought and sighed softly, as I relaxed back into my bed, as I glanced up at the ceiling, as my mind flashed back all the consolation words my mum had told me.

I really owe her a lot, and I'm going to make sure I make up to her from now onwards. I took a deep breath, as I readjust myself on the bed, finally sitting up now.

TWO MONTHS LATER

I walked into my bedroom, looking so tired, and stressed, as I quickly dropped my handbag and cell phone on my bed, and had my seat on my bed.

"Gosh I'm so exhausted," I complained,as I slowly started talking off my jewellery.

I have started working at my father's company, and I am really doing well at it now. It's already been two months since I divorce Sebastian, and I have already gotten over him.

My mom was really so supportive to me, and that made it easier for me to get over the hurt I was feeling from what Sebastian did to me.

To be honest Sebastian and his family deserve nothing but sorrows, as that was what they were good at inflicting on someone else. And I'm never going to forgive them for that.

I sighed softly, and I tried to stop dwelling in my thoughts, but just then, there was a knock on my bedroom door, making me sighed softly as I wondered who it could be.

"Who's there?" I asked while still seated on my bed, as I fixed my glance at the door.

"It's me ma'am," I heard Anna's voice, who happened to be the maid in the house, making me sighed softly.

"What do you want, Anna?" I asked her, while not making any attendance, to stand up from where I was seated.

"Ma'am, I brought you a dress," she responded, making me realise I had sent her to get me a new dress earlier before leaving for the office.

"Oh my bad, come in," I spoke up, and the door cracked open immediately revealing Anna, as she walked closer to me.

"Let me see," I told her, and she quickly brought it out of the bag, making me smile immediately, as I stared at the red dress before me.

"This is so beautiful, you know how to please me," I complimented her, while she just smiled.

"Just drop it there," I told her, pointing to a spot on my bed, while she nodded, and moved closer to there.

Once she dropped it, she turned around to leave, but stopped.

"Ma'am, are you going to have dinner at home before leaving?" She asked me, making me widen my eyes in disbelief as I stared at her.

"How can you ask me a question, when you know I'm going for a dinner date?" I asked her, still finding it hard to believe she just asked such a question right now.

"I'm sorry ma'am, I will just leave," she said bowing her head, as she finally walked out of my bedroom.

"She is so unbelievable," I muttered, as I finally raised to my feet, and started making my way to my bathroom.

I walked into the restaurant with Dylan who was walking behind me, as he held onto my hands, while I tried to put on a smile as I went to the VIP section.

We both had our seats, and the menus were brought to us. "What would you like to have?" Dylan asked me, making me sighed softly as I glanced at the menu again and again.

I really can't decide on something to take right now, but I just had to order something, so I just pointed to my usual food.

"I'm going to have this," I said, pointing it out to Dylan.

"You really like pasta, I must confess," he said with a smile plastered on his face, as I just nodded my head, faking a smile too.

"I really don't like pasta that much, but I'm going to also order it since I want to eat whatever you are eating today," he said, as he also tried to place an order for it too.

"Come on Dylan you don't have to eat it because I'm eating it, you can order what you like eating," I told him, hoping he would stop and just place an order for what he likes.

"I have already decided to eat whatever you are eating, so please just let me do that," he told me, but I really don't want it.

"But you don't.." I was still talking but her placed his hands on my lips stopping me from saying anything further.

"I have already decided to eat it today,so you don't really have to worry about it," he told me again, but I told him he shouldn't be having what he doesn't like all because of me.

"I know that, but it's just for today, and if I don't like it then I promise not to have it next time," he said, making me sigh softly as I glanced at him for a while.

"Okay, if you say so," I relaxed back on the chair, and just then the waitress brought our orders.

"Thank you," I mouthed to her, as she smiled immediately and turned around to leave, but her hands hit a glass which fell down and shattered immediately.

"What have you done?" Dylan barked rudely at her.

"I'm very sorry sir," she quickly apologized and bent down to start picking it up.

"Don't do that with your hands, it 's going to get you injured," I protested, trying to make her stop picking the glass with her hands.

"No she should pick it up, so that the next time she can be careful," Dylan insisted, rudely, but I wasn't really placed at what he was doing.
