Naively, I believed he would take me away from this hell. But it seems that three won't let me go... *** "You don't seem to understand it, do you?" The irritated edge to Hunter tone brought more tears to my eyes. Gunter stepped closer, leaving no distance between us as he gazed at me with darkened eyes glowing with undiluted fury, "haven't we told you before?" My heart stopped for a second when Ryder's hand wrapped my neck, lifting me from the floor a little bit. "Let me clarify it again, Liya. You belong to no one else but us. You're ours to look at, ours to touch and most definitely ours to fuck! This is your FUCKING fate! Accept it!" His deadly tone had a hint of mischief. Yeah, I should have known earlier. Chapter 6

Gunter's Pov

I'm going to kill him!

That's all I can think about right now. I'm sure no Alpha could endure a scene like the one I just witnessed as a man tried to undress my mate while my mate was still damn well cooperating with him!

"Fuck you!" I roared, charging at Conner and kicking him over onto the ground.

"What are you doing?" He yelled.

He's really not sober when he's dead in the water, how dare he yell at me after doing such a stupid thing.

I reached down to him, and I saw as fear flashed in his eyes. I smiled with satisfaction and said, "Can't you see? I'm going to kill you!"

I slammed my fist into his cheeks, and blood stained my fist. He covered his eyes and curled up on the ground, wailing. But it wasn't nearly enough.

I've wanted to kill this obsessed asshole for a long time, but my law-abiding big brother kept stopping me. Now, I had no restrictions, I'm going to unload on him!

I had only just stepped on his left shoulder and was about to push when a white, slender arm wrapped around my leg and a pleading cry came from my feet.

"No! I beg you! Don't kill him!"

My head tilts slightly and it's Liya. She pleaded as tears stained her cheek.

Even in her disheveled state, she still looked pretty. She didn't realize that her pleading would only kill the man.

"I promise he didn't do anything. He is innocent. Please let go of him," The fear in her voice was evident as she tried to reach out to help.

I kicked her to the ground as well, "Heh, you're in no position to plead for him. This is all the result of your own sluttery ways! Do you think we don't know about your damn plans? You beg one more time and I'll stomp on his skull."

Ryder came over and draped his shirt over her, carried her away, and reminded her, "You know, Gunter never jokes about such things."

She shuddered in instant fear and closed her mouth, looking at me with her scarlet eyes, daring only to shake her head slightly.

The fact that she was feeling pity for this thing was annoying, and it only made me rage more. I dragged Conner by his hair till I pushed him against a wall till we could circle him.

His eyes were already smeared with blood, and he could only murmur and beg for mercy, "No... Don't kill me... Please. I didn't do anything."

Hunter lets out a cold grunt next to me, "Liya, is this the kind of man you like? Coward!"

"Don't bullshit him, just choke him to death." I don't want to waste my time on this kind of guy.

My hand had just been placed on his neck and was about to exert force when a scream came from outside the window, almost shattering our eardrums. Several of us all covered our ears with both hands and let out moans of pain.

I felt my entire body go numb. I turned to look at my brothers, and it seemed I wasn't the only one who was affected.

I heard another loud, painful shriek, and a burning pain travelled on my skin. It felt like I had been placed into molten lava. Instantly, another powder-like drug was dropped into the room, causing me to even feel my airways burning.

"Cough... cough... Are you guys okay? Ryder, how about Liya!" Hunter shouted, checking on our safety.

I managed to squeeze out a few words from my throat, "I... I'm fine..."

Not far away, Ryder also responded in pain, "We're okay. Liya is in my arms. We're all fine."

I struggled to open my eyes, but the powder in the room had not dispersed yet. I could only keep my eyes closed and feel around for Conner's original position.

But he was not there!

"Damn it! Where the hell did that bastard go?!" I shouted, my actions becoming more frantic.

However, at that moment, his voice came from behind me, and he was pleading with someone, "Please save me!"

I vaguely heard him say something I didn't quite understand, "I will... be loyal..."

Loyal? He was begging someone?

I turned around in the direction of the voice, just opening my eyes, but I only saw him being taken away by a woman.

"Don't go!" I instinctively tried to stop them, but a sharp pain hit my head again, unbearable this time. This pain was completely different, as if my wolf wanted to burst out of my body. The sensation was like my wolf urgently wanting to meet its mate.

Just as I thought about this, unsurprisingly, Liya's roar echoed, "Ah!!"

I turned my head over to her, and I saw her tiny figure splattered on the floor. She moved around in pain as her transformation finally began. She yelled again, and I saw her nails becoming longer. Hair is also gradually sticking out from all parts of the body.

And we as mate were affected by her, unable to control the wolf trying to break out of our bodies. It kept growling in my head, "Mark her! Tag our MATE! so she can never escape again!"

Right! We need to mark her now!

Ryder and I rushed over to her at full speed. My hands moved under her back, and I pulled her closer to myself.

She smelled good, and her body was warm. The moonlight glistened on her, and her body shone under the light. I let out a frustrated groan as I grabbed her neck.

Ryder placed a light kiss on her neck before he looked up at me. I just wanted to mark her. I wanted her now.

"Wait, not now!" Hunter's voice made me stop halfway to her neck.

I looked up at him with frustration layered in my eyes. I placed her back gently.

"What now?" I said through gritted teeth.

She groaned again as i ran her hands through her hair. I could feel all the pain she was going through.

"She's not even conscious right now, let's just leave, it's the best thing we can do." He said.

Not really wanting to admit it, but I had to say he had a point. Tagging her while she wasn't conscious was just mean.

Ryder didn't move, obviously not wanting to leave. I tapped him on the shoulder and bobbed my head to signal him to leave before he reluctantly followed Hunter away.
