Mated To The Alpha Quadruplets Novel Cover

Mated To The Alpha Quadruplets

“What did you say, little omega? I didn’t quite hear you.” Grayson rushed after me and growled; he yanked me roughly by the hair and pulled me back to face him. Then grabbing me by the scruff of the neck. I didn’t whimper or make a sound. I looked down at the ground, careful not to meet his glare. I knew that would make him more dfurious and I had learnt not to do that a long time ago. I could feel the eyes of the cafeteria on me, waiting for my response. My heart raced in my chest as Grayson's grip tightened on my neck. But I refused to show any weakness. That is what he wanted—weakness to show how powerful he was. But he would never be as powerful as his brothers or the Alpha and he knew it. "I said you don't have the right to treat others like dirt, Grayson," I repeated, my voice loud and clear for everyone around us to hear. Eliza is nothing more than an omega at the Creek Pack. All her life she has been treated badly by everyone especially the Alpha quadruplets and the Beta’s daughter. Determined to leave as soon as she turns eighteen, she soon realises that the moon goddess has other plans for her. How will Eliza react when she finds out that she is mated to the alpha quadruplets who made it their mission to destroy her life from day one. Will Eliza find a mate worthy of her or will she be happier mateless?

Chapter 4

I closed the window with a quick flick of my wrist and leapt into bed, pulling my knees to my chest as my heart raced. The rush of adrenaline still pulsed through my veins, a potent reminder of the seismic shift that had occurred within me. It was a secret I couldn't share, not yet. This was something I needed to understand on my own first and let me tell you, it was a lot to process.

I had drifted off as an omega, but now, with the dawn of a new day on my birthday, I awoke with the essence of a Wolf coursing through my being. It was a transformation that both exhilarated and terrified me, a duality I grappled with as I contemplated the implications of this newfound power. And to top it all off, fate had decided to intertwine my destiny with Daniella, the one person in my life who harboured hatred towards me.

As I lay there, the weight of my reality settling in, I started to drift off again, and the next thing I knew, there was a loud thud at the door.

“Omega, you bitch. Wake up. Why are you not up and serving breakfast? Did you forget it’s my birthday?”

I sat up abruptly, my heart pounding as I tried to make sense of the situation. The voice was unmistakably Daniella's, but I couldn't let her see my fear or confusion. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing thoughts.

"I'm up, Daniella," I called out, trying to sound more composed than I felt. "Give me a moment to get the breakfast ready."

As I got out of bed, the Wolf within me stirred, its energy coursing through my veins. I could feel its strength and power, knowing I had to harness it carefully. This newfound power could change everything, but first, I needed to survive this encounter with Daniella.

“Well, you better hurry up before the Alpha and Luna find out you're not doing your duties.” she kicked the door, and I heard her leave.

Throwing on some clothes, I quickly hurried out of my room and to the kitchen. I could not risk the Alpha and Luna finding out anything of this, not yet.

I quickly prepared breakfast, trying to keep my movements steady and focused. I decided on pancakes and syrup as that is a massive favourite in this packed house.

As I served the meal, I couldn't help but notice the tension between us. I knew she disliked me, but I couldn't understand why. I have always tried to be friendly and helpful.

"Happy birthday," I said, trying to keep my voice even. "I hope you enjoy your breakfast."

Daniella eyed me suspiciously before taking a bite of her food. I could see the wheels turning in her mind, trying to figure out what had changed in me. I had to be careful not to give anything away, not until I understood this new power within me.

“She will not break you. I am here with you now. Every step of the way.” I heard Jasmine echo in the back of my mind. I could not help but smile at that. It felt good to know that, finally, I had my wolf.

Despite Daniella's continued icy demeanour, I remained calm and composed, focusing on the task. I couldn't let her hostility get to me; I needed to understand this new power within me and harness it to protect myself.

After breakfast, as I cleaned up the dishes, Daniella approached me cautiously. "What's going on with you?" she asked, her voice laced with suspicion.” something seems odd about you, and I want to know what it is.”

I met her gaze head-on, the Wolf within me standing strong. "Nothing has changed, Daniella," I replied calmly. "I'm still the same person I've always been."

She seemed taken aback by my response as if expecting me to cower before her. But I stood my ground, the new strength of the Wolf empowering me.

“Yeah, the same skank we all hate and wish you had never been born.” Janet piped up, looking me up and down with disgust. They both giggled, and I avoided looking up at them.

“I’m sorry you don’t like me, but I have worked hard to ensure Daniella has the best party,” I said.

“Hmph, remember not to show your face at my party tonight. The alpha sons are returning tonight, and I will be announced as their mate and future Luna. Nobody wants you scaring them off with your disgusting omega vibes.”

I couldn't help but bristle at Daniella's words, the Wolf within me rising to defend my honour. However, showing my true feelings would only escalate the situation. Instead, I chose to remain calm and collected.

"I understand, Daniella," I said, keeping my voice even. "I wouldn't want to disrupt your special night. I'll make sure to stay away from the party."

As they left the room, I allowed myself to process her words. The thought of being labelled as an 'omega' and 'disgusting' stung, but I knew that I had to focus on understanding and controlling my newfound power.

I quickly decided to go for a shower and freshen up. Today, I would leave this hell hole once and for all, and I could not wait.

As I stepped into the soothing stream of water in the shower, letting the warm droplets cascade over me, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. The tension of the morning and the confrontation with Daniella slowly melted away, replaced by a renewed determination to embrace my Wolf essence and forge my path.

I took my time in the shower, allowing myself to reflect on everything that had transpired. The power of the Wolf within me was a force to be reckoned with, and I needed to learn how to harness it for my benefit. I couldn't let the prejudices and hatred of others hold me back anymore.

As I stepped out of the shower and dried off, I caught sight of my reflection and gasped, almost dropping my towel. My once brown eyes now were glowing an amber colour. What was I? My wolf was white, yet I was supposed to be an omega? Could it be I was more than an omega? My parents had abandoned me, so I had no clue what heritage I had come from.

I couldn’t let anyone see me like that. “Jasmine, why are my eyes this colour? What is happening to me?”

The blue light of the smartphone screen was the only thing alive in the living room. It cast a corpse-like pallor over my hands, trembling slightly as my thumb flicked upward, scrolling through the autopsy of my career. *“Jessica Barnes has the emotional range of a damp sponge.”* *“Watching her try to cry is physically painful. Can we cancel her already?”* *“She’s just a pretty vase. Empty. Useless.”* Each comment was a needle, finding the exact nerves that had been exposed since the sixth grade. The air in the room grew heavy, turning into a solid weight against my chest. I wasn't just reading text; I was hearing them—a cacophony of sneers that sounded suspiciously like the girls who used to lock me in the gym locker. My breath hitched, a jagged, shallow gasp that wouldn't fill my lungs. I dropped the phone on the sofa and bolted for the kitchen.

I stared up at the gleaming glass tower of Sterling Dynamics, clutching my worn leather portfolio like a shield. The morning sun reflected off the windows, nearly blinding me with its intensity—much like the numbers on my latest past-due notice. $50,000 a month. Ten million dollars when it was over. The figures danced in my head like a taunt, a lifeline, a fantasy. "You can do this, Sophia," I whispered to myself, smoothing down my one decent blazer. "It's just acting. You've done community theater." The receptionist—her nameplate read 'Jessica'—gave me a slow, critical once-over as I approached her pristine white desk. "I have an appointment with Mr. Sterling," I said, forcing confidence into my voice.

The morning light filtered through my studio apartment window as I carefully placed the last charm on the bracelet. My fingers trembled slightly—not from fatigue after staying up most of the night to finish it, but from anticipation. Three years with Ryan deserved something special, something that told our story. I held up the delicate silver chain, watching the tiny road-trip van charm catch the light. It represented our first weekend away together, when we'd slept in his beat-up Volkswagen because we couldn't afford a motel. The miniature heart and star were our inside jokes—the heart for the time we got lost hiking and found that heart-shaped clearing, the star for our midnight picnics on the roof of my building. "Perfect," I whispered, gently placing it in the velvet box I'd splurged on. Three months of saving tips from my craft fair sales had gone into this gift, but Ryan was worth it. He believed in me when no one else did, telling me my jewelry designs would make it big someday. I practiced my toast in the bathroom mirror, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear nervously.
