Chapter 1

NOREEN

A hard jab came next at my side, causing pain to explode throughout my body as the girls pinned me to the floor and continued kicking.

"Please," I begged, my voice raw and raspy with pain, "I swear, I didn't try to seduce them."

Helen, the third in command and most requested escort, scowled down at me with menace, the scissors in her hands glinting under the light.

"You knew Beta and his friends always requested for me to service them whenever they came to the motel, and yet you passed at the exact time so they'll notice and call you instead?"

"I had no idea they would call me. I was cleaning!," I explained, begging her to see reason. "I didn't do anything wrong! I didn't let them touch me. In fact, I threw up on them so they would leave me alone, so please let me go."

Helen scoffed, "Of course you did."

She squats down to my level, bringing the scissors closer, "Maybe this will finally teach you a lesson. When the men see you and your shabby hair, not even your sinful body or redhead will be enough to convince them."

My heart dropped to the bottom of my stomach. If Helen cut my hair, the disguise I managed to build over the years would be exposed. I won't be able to tweak my appearance anymore or protect myself from the hunters.

I shook my head vigorously, "No, you can't cut my hair. It's the only-"

My words were cut off in a scream as she yanked my hair to her.

I couldn't move.

I was held tightly in place by her minions.

I couldn't do anything asides glare at her with so much hate and anger as she placed the scissors in my hair."

"Sorry to cut your fun girls," a new voice interrupted, "The mistress wants to see redhead girl."

"Right now?" Helen snapped, "We're busy."

The girl shrugged and turned on her heels, "It's urgent, you can continue later."

Helen scowled and pushed me away like I burned her and left, her eyes promising she wasn't done with me yet.

I turned my palm up, watching them tremble slightly.

Why did the mistress send for me?

It's been two years,

Two years since I've been on the run.

After my mate's disappeared and the hunters abducted my sister, my family threw me out immediately, giving me no time to mourn.

I had nowhere to go or turn to, so I did the only thing I could do, run.

Run from the hunters, run from my enemies whilst searching for my sister.

She didn't deserve a sister like me, she didn't deserve to be caught in my web of bad luck.

It was all my fault. If I hadn't been born, she wouldn't be subjected to suffering.

With the years that have passed, you'd think I'm powerful enough to take them on and find my sister, but that was far from it. That was the curse that came with my bloodline.

An ordinary omega would easily kill me in a combat without using fifty percent of their strength.

It's why I need to save up enough money to continue running and finding my sister.

I stood and headed out to the back of the building where the mistress' office is, dread crawling up my spine.

It's the third week since the mistress brought me here, and coincidentally, the last day of the time she'd given me to find my mate and convince him to willing buy me off from her.

If I failed to do that, I'd be sold out some random man instead. That way, the mistress gets her money while I'm subjected to a life in hell.

I'd basically be moving from one hellhole to another, giving the hunters enough time to find me.

I shook my head, pinching my arm as I walked.

I'll beg the mistress for more time, beg her I'll do better and earn more money.

I can't be sold out as a sex slave to another person. My sister is out there, waiting for me to find her.

I need money. I need to find my sister, not another prison.

It's only a matter of time before the hunters find me.

I removed my ring with a shaky breath and threw it in my back pocket. This was the only real chance I had of my mate finding me.

The ring helped with masking my scent, making me scentless. It was one of the major ways I could protect myself from the hunters.

I glanced around like a hunter was going to pop out from nowhere and attack.

With the ring off, I'm basically like a magnet for the hunters. I won't be surprised if they surrounded this brothel in a minute.

This was a huge risk, but my life is on the line now.

A slight tremble ran down my spine as I strolled down the familiar hallway with music blasting in my ears along with loud moans.

As I walked past, it was hard not to notice the full sexual display happening around me.

Even Helen was on one of the rooms, naked, on blindfold and chained to the bed as she waited to be punished by whoever was her client.

Another shiver ran down my spine.

Is this what would become of me? Would I be able to keep my identity safe?

Was that the reason the mistress sent for me, to remind me my time was up and I'd have to be a sex slave till she finds an interested buyer?

I clicked the door's button and let myself in.

The mistress, a short, chubby woman with grey curly hair that bounced on her neck, sat behind her large mahogany desk that seemed to swallow her frame.

"I have a job for you." She announced the moment I entered.

I swallowed, "O.... okay?"

She raised her glasses to stare at me with those stern eyes that gave me the chills.

I lowered my gaze instantly, "I... I'm sorry. What is the job?"

"I need a redhead to service the Alpha and his friends coming tonight, he specifically requested for one." the mistress answered, "He's a very feared Alpha, and my business runs a risk of being shut down if he's not satisfied."

"Okay," I nodded, "do you need me to find a redhead?"

The mistress narrowed her eyes, wearing a displeased frown, and snapped, "Are you not a redhead?"

No, this is fake. I'm silver haired, not red.

What if the Alpha saw through my facade and called me out on it?

"B... but if I let them touch me, I can't find my mate? There'd be no time."

She shrugged, "That stopped being my problem when your deadline ran out two minutes ago."

I opened my mouth to argue, but her gaze silenced me.

"You are to service the Alpha and his friends when they arrive tonight, and you should know. He's the most deadly Alpha in our time, so don't dare deny them of anything."

She continued, "If they want you to strip, then you do. No questions. They own you for the night and can do as they please."

"I... Please mistress," I begged, my body shaking uncontrollably, "Give me more time to find my mate, please."

"I believe my grace has expired." She replied

"Give me one hour, please. One hour to find my mate. No, thirty minutes is enough." I pleaded.

"Get out of my office, Noreen, you have a job to do."

"The Alpha is in room five six nine. Don't keep him waiting." Her tone was dismissive.

I bowed with shaky hands and left the office. With my ring off, I still have a chance. My mate would find me.

***

I entered the Alpha's room, rolling in a tray of drinks he'd ordered.

I hated the way their eyes roamed over my body. It made me feel naked under their gaze, and my skin crawled with disgust.

"Do you need anything else, Alpha Joe?" I asked, keeping my gaze on the floor.

"Come closer." He ordered.

I risked a glance at him, hating the look I saw, but I moved either way.

It was either this or the wrath of the mistress.

From upclose, he looked pretty much like an ordinary man. At times, I wonder how a person like this managed to become their Alpha. I've heard ridiculous stories of how he's treated ladies in other brothels.

They weren't good stories.

"Since you're not a member of my pack." He stated, his eyes lingering on my chest, "that makes this better then."

Before I could ask what, his hand shot out and grabbed my chest, the other one on my butt.

I slapped his hands away instinctively in shock and jumped back.

"What now? You can't bend a brothel servant to your will now? One of his friends snickered.

His face twisted in anger as his friends laughed at him.

I should beg him, go on my knees. Apologize, but I couldn't.

I was shaking with anger, which is an irony compared to where I work.

Was this what the mistress meant when she asked me to satisfy them?

"Come back here." The Alpha ordered.

I didn't budge from where I stood. If I leave here, the mistress would kill me, and if I stay, my body would be an object for this Alpha's pleasure.

I didn't want either.

Strong hands suddenly grabbed me, dragging me to the feet of the Alpha.

It was his friends.

"Leave us." He commanded, a smug smile on his lips.

"Strip," he ordered immediately after they left.

"I can't." I murmured.

He looked like he was going to strangle me for disobedience, "You are a slave in my pack, and you are meant to serve me. In case it hasn't occurred to you, I own you. Now, strip or I make you."

No, that can't happen. I can't allow that.

"Strip," he said in a much more firmer voice.

"I.. I can't." I repeated in a smaller voice, hoping he'd hear my vulnerability and let me go.

Instead, his face twisted in a snarl as he lunged for me.

Strong sweaty wrapped around my wrists and pulled me.

Without warning, the sound of fabric ripping echoed through the room.

My breasts popped out in full display.

Before I could think, I pulled a pocket knife from my back pocket and drove it deep into the Alpha's neck.
