Chapter 5

"We're going in my Miss Chiara car."

And he started walking in the opposite direction towards his Escalade on the other side of the parking lot, which made Chiara stop walking and follow him as she walked quickly to catch up with Angelo's big steps.

"Mr. Tomsey, what is the problem with my car?! Because it is my responsibility to transport my clients with my car to the place of the property!"

Angelo stopped and turned to her.

"I know that! What kind of car is your car?!"

"My car is a gray Civic, a modern model."

"Not safe enough!"

Angelo continued walking towards his black Escalade, where Rafal and Bart were waiting for him.

"We'll take my car for backup!"

Chiara thought toherself, what does he mean when he says her car is not safe?! And why does he make the eight-mile short distance from the restaurant to the hotel site a difficult and complicated matter and insist that he go by his car?!

As Bart got into the driver's seat, Angelo opened the passenger door and waited for Chiara to get in, but Chiara froze. About renting it?!

Angelo noticed her confusion and reluctance to ride in the car with them! "Would you like us to go in two separate cars? You can drive yours, and Bart will follow, but it will be difficult for us to know some answers to questions I want to ask you along the way about the property offered!"

"No."

Chiara lied. She wasn't comfortable getting in the car with them. She wanted to go with her car, but she ventured because they are the first customers to ask about the hotel in order to buy it, and she desperately wants to get her share of the rental broker so that she can buy the Santiago restaurant before it is sold to other people and because its location Not far from the restaurant, I got into the car, and Angelo rode next to it, and he rode a condom in the front seat...

Everyone was silent in the car for a moment; Chiara kept looking out the window, distracted as Angelo looked at her intently.

"Relaxed?!"

Her thoughts were interrupted by Angelo Chiara's question. Finally, she looked at him and replied with concern.

"Is there something to prevent me from being comfortable, and should I be worried, Mr. Thomsey?!"

"Probably"

Angelo replied to her, joking with her. His words were in a smooth and confident manner while he put one man on the other, making him more comfortable in his session, which made her more anxious and tense. He affects her, frightening and intimidating her with his actions, style, and looks, but she tries to hide it as much as she can! And Angelo knows this well and insists on provoking her feelings!!

"Okay, Mr. Tomsey, if you don't want to see the property or change your mind about it, can you stop the car and drop me off here, and I'll walk back to Santiago!"

She was clear and strong in her words, although she was not sure that what she said was appropriate, especially that she wanted to rent the hotel and take her share to realize her dream and buy the restaurant. Between her and herself, sometimes she blames her tongue for how she doesn't care what she says and lets her feelings act!

"Do you talk to all your clients in this way and in this tone?! You told me you were going to take me for a tour inside the hotel, and I'll take what I came for. I'm not here to waste your time! And surely you're not here to waste my time. Is that the concept of Miss Collins?!"

Angelo approached her until she could feel the warmth of his breath on her cheek, and with his fingers he gently placed it under her chin and raised her head.

His tone of voice was calm, but she felt that his words were a warning to her. Angelo was so close to her that she could not think of a reply to him. Confused by his behavior and his closeness as she felt his breath on her face, it made her feel ashamed and gave her goosebumps that ran through her entire body!

Was it fear or some kind of attraction to this mysterious man? She could not distinguish her feelings, but surely these feelings put her on the edge of her nerves! Chiara's wide blue eyes reflected her feelings of fear as she stared into Angelo's eyes. I felt the strength of this man and his ability to make anyone who challenges him turn into a coward! Angelo closed his eyes and clenched his lips tightly, resentful and dissatisfied with himself because he made her feel scared!

Why does he care?!

In his life he didn't care about anyone's feelings and didn't think for a moment about that. For some reason this girl made him feel guilty. Maybe because of the pure innocence in her eyes, he didn't want to encourage his thoughts that started to take up space in his mind about her even if it aroused his interest because she would never be able to have to deal with the life of the mafia!!!

Gently, he pulled his fingers from under her chin and leaned back in his seat by the window.

"Just show us the place, Mrs. Collins, and rest assured, there is nothing to worry about from us."
