Chapter 4

: kidnapped

Violet's POV

"Rise and shine." I screamed as I jumped on Tracy's sleeping body.

"Why are you always so chirpy when you wake up?" Tracy grumbled.

Today was a special day for me. It was Tracy's birthday. She always loved how we both celebrated together alone but today I had a special surprise for her. Her father was coming to see her and we are throwing her a big surprise. I know she loves the surprises I make but this one is special. I have been saving money for her birthday and I finally bought her the car she always wanted.

"Come on birthday girl. Wake up and get dressed. We have work." I smirked and she opened one eye to look at me.

"Wait." She jumped up from the bed and looked at me with disbelief. "Today's my birthday already?" She screamed.

"Yes. Finally you're 24 little girl." I laughed and ruffled her hair.

"Shut up you're only 7 months older than me." She rolled her eyes and smiled at her.

"Come on no time for chats. We have plans- I mean work." Thankfully she was searching for her clothes so she didn't pay attention to my slip.

"I'm taking a shower. Get ready and I'll see you in a few." She said ushering me outside her bedroom and closed the door in my face.

Such a best friend!

I rolled my eyes but laughed anyway. She was like a sister to me and I would never be offended by her.

I headed to my room and started curling my hair. Usually, my hair is straight so I wanted to break the routine a bit and curl it. When I'm done, I put on eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara and my matt red lipstick. When I was satisfied with my look I put on my off shoulder black shirt and black pants.

I took my purse when the bell rang. I ran to the door to open it before Tracy. At the door a teenage boy was standing.

"Hello. Mr Hardyn sent me with the car you bought." He said with a smile.

"Oh yes hello. Thank you so much." I said and smiled back at him.

"I just need you to sign here and we're done." I signed on the paper he showed me and he left.

I looked towards our usually empty garage to see the Tracy's new car parked there. It was a black Audi and they put a big red ribbon so that it looked like a present. I squealed happily and went back inside to call her.

"Tracy! Come on we should go!" I yelled and seconds later she came from her room rolling her eyes.

"Always impatient." I grinned.

"There's a big present waiting for you outside." I said and she frowned.

"Outside?" I nodded and she walked outside and I heard her gasp.

"VIOLET KATRINA ANDERSON!" I winced at her high pitched voice and followed her towards the car.

"Yes?"

"What the hell is this?" She glared at me.

"It's a car." I said innocently.

"No shit sherlock." She rolled her eyes, but soon a big grin plastered her face and she squealed and jumped hugging me. We both started laughing as we fell on the floor.

"I can't believe you Violet. This is too much." She hugged me one more time and let me go.

"This is for everything you have ever done to me." I told her and smiled at her sincerely.

"Thank you. I can't thank you enough." Her eyes started tearing.

"Now let's try if this car is functioning." She laughed and followed me to the car. I gave her the keys and got in the passenger seat.

"There's another surprise waiting for you in the restaurant." I told her and she smiled.

"What surprise?" She raised an eyebrow.

"You'll see." I smirked and she rolled her eyes.

Tracy started the engine and started driving the car. I turned on the radio and a random song started playing. We danced along with the song and shouted the wrong lyrics. Soon we pulled over in front of the restaurant and we got out. I sent a quick message to Carl telling him that we are here.

"SURPRISE!" Mr and Mrs Hardyn, Jimmy, Carl, her dad and I shouted. We weren't many, but we all loved her wholeheartedly.

"Dad!" She screamed and ran to hug him. She started crying and he kissed her face. "I can't believe this!" She said and we all laughed and they gave her the gifts they bought her.

"You have the day all for yourself Tracy." Mr Hardyn said and Tracy hugged him.

"Thank you Mr Hardyn."

"Hello Mr Derwin." I said hugging Tracy's dad.

"Hello Violet dear how are you?" He asked.

"I'm fine. Now you two go have fun and enjoy the day." Tracy kissed my cheek and they left the restaurant.

It was along day of work. It was boring with Tracy's absence but I managed. Both Jimmy and Carl stayed with me. It was finally over and it was time to close the restaurant.

"Bye V I'll see you tomorrow. Are you sure you don't want me to drop you at your place?" Carl asked.

"No I'm fine Carl." I smiled and waved at him.

"Okay see you tomorrow then." He said.

"Yeah see you." I closed the front door and switched off the lights.

I headed to the back door and started walking towards my apartment. The atmosphere was really creepy. The lights were off and there was a deafening silence. I shivered and started walking faster, until a car stopped next to me. I wanted to cry, but muster my courage and walked faster.

"Are you going somewhere princess?" I turned around and saw one of the five guys that came to the restaurant 2 days ago.

"What do you want?" I asked him with a glare.

"To tell you I'm sorry." I looked at him confused until suddenly someone put a cloth on my mouth and nose and I started struggling. I started loosing conscious and tried to hit the person behind me but the chloroform started making me dizzy and until I lot conscious.
