Chapter 1

I returned home after studying abroad for three years, only to find that my brother’s girlfriend had brought her entire family to live in my mansion.

The moment they saw me, they pinned me against the floor.

"How dare you! Call him your sweetheart, spend his money, and now you're here to take my mansion? "

When I saw the girlfriend’s crazed antics, I was shocked. “Who did you say owns the mansion?”

“It’s my boyfriend’s, but it’ll be mine sooner or later. It has nothing to do with you.”

With her parents, she yanked off the ancient pendant on my neck and crushed my heirloom bracelet.

They even tied up my limbs, put me on the table, and positioned me in a humiliating pose to post online.

Her brother pinned my legs down and reached under my shirt…

A day before I returned to the country, I watched a livestream.

Two middle-aged people stood behind the female streamer with a banner held between them. It had the words: Help! What should I do when my boyfriend cheated and his new woman comes over to boast in my face?

The streamer cried so badly that her makeup was ruined. “She keeps talking to my boyfriend and is coming to meet me tomorrow…”

The chat sent encouraging words to the streamer while insulting the other woman.

[How could she be so arrogant? Kill her!]

[Don’t be scared, girl. Give me your address. I’ll slap her for you tomorrow.]

I hated these sorts of channels. It was all scripted, and the chat was full of idiots who just went along with the flow.

But I did not scroll away today. Instead, I frowned as I stared at the streamer. She looked familiar.

I could swear she was my brother’s girlfriend, Cynthia Walton.

When Luke Thompson, my brother, got together with Cynthia, I was already in my second year studying abroad. My parents passed away years ago, so Bernard Thompson, my uncle, took us in, and I shared a good relationship with Luke.

Even though I had never met Cynthia before, Luke had shown me plenty of her photos. He always told me how gentle and kind she was.

I was satisfied with her and was coming back to watch Luke propose to Cynthia.

I took out a picture of Cynthia and made a comparison. The streamer was indeed Cynthia.

I hurriedly called Luke. “You’re cheating on Cynthia? How could you do that to her?”

Luke was baffled. “What on earth are you saying, Juliet? I’m only seeing Cynthia.”

I believed Luke. He was a romantic at heart and only confessed to Cynthia after crushing on her for five years. I refused to believe that he would cheat on her.

The so-called new woman had to be a shameless person who was throwing herself at him. Luke had also been really busy after taking over the family business, so he ended up neglecting Cynthia.

I thought of possible scenarios and could only come up with one solution: throwing money at Cynthia.

“Give Cynthia two hundred thousand, so she can buy some stuff. Make sure she’s happy,” I said.

At night, I saw Cynthia livestreaming again. She stood in front of a mansion’s gate and shouted into a megaphone, “Come to my livestream tomorrow night! Let’s punish the new woman together!”

Wasn’t that the mansion my parents left for me?

When I thought about how I would have the front row seat to a fun drama tomorrow, I was so excited that I only fell asleep at midnight and nearly missed my flight.

I was eager to go back home to help my future sister-in-law beat up that homewrecker and see just which shameless woman wanted to ruin Luke’s relationship.

When I reached Arkshire, it was already dark.

Luke was on a business trip, so I took a cab home. Since I did not want to miss out on seeing the new woman’s face, I did not even eat dinner. I went straight home.

The exterior of the mansion was the same as when I left. It had not changed. I could not hold back my excitement and rang the bell.

After waiting for a long time, the door opened. Two men and two women stood inside my mansion and glared at me.

“Look, everyone! It’s the new woman!”

Before I could register what was said, I had a phone pointed at my face. The middle-aged woman rushed over and slapped me before grabbing my hair.

My scalp hurt, and my head was dizzy and in pain.

“Look! This is the homewrecker! How dare you bully my daughter?! I’ll kill you!”

I was stunned.

I only wanted to witness a drama. How did I end up as the homerecker?

“Ma’am, aren’t you mistaken? I’m not—”

Before I could finish speaking, Cynthia spat in my face and insulted me. “Did your parents not teach you any manners since they died when you were young?! Fine! My parents, brother, and the people online will teach you!”

Cynthia’s brother and father rushed over and dragged me inside. The furniture in the mansion was the same as three years ago. Nothing had changed, but I was hit and insulted despite being the owner of the place.

“Everyone, please follow me as we punish the shameless homewrecker!”
