Tiffany glanced up from her computer screen, her expressive brown eyes brimming with gratitude. "Thanks, Crystal. I don't know how I'd survive this place without you," she admitted, handing over her empty coffee mug.

"Okay, I'll make sure you're prepped and ready for that meeting," Crystal assured her, scribbling notes in her distinctive, loopy handwriting. "And don't worry about the transcripts, I'll help you power through them during lunch."

"Seriously, you're a lifesaver," Tiffany said, her voice filled with sincerity. She knew that without Crystal's help, she'd likely be drowning in work, and their friendship was one of the few bright spots in the otherwise dreary environment of the firm.

"Like I said, it's what friends are for," Crystal reiterated with a wink, before rising from her seat and striding away with the same confident gait that had carried her into Tiffany's world.

Almost as if summoned by Tiffany's thoughts, Crystal came sauntering back to her desk to retrieve her for lunch.

"Hey, are you okay?" Crystal asked softly, pulling up a chair next to Tiffany's desk. Her concern was evident in her eyes.

"I don't know, Crystal," Tiffany admitted, letting out a heavy sigh. "I'm still dealing with the reality that Andre and I are no longer together."

"Tiffany, I'm so sorry you're dealing with this," Crystal said, reaching over to give her friend's hand a comforting squeeze. "You know I'm here for you, right?"

"Thanks, Crystal," Tiffany replied, her brown eyes glistening with unshed tears. "It's just... it's been so hard to trust anyone after everything that happened with him."

"Listen," Crystal began, her voice gentle but persuasive. "I know this might sound crazy, but I have a friend who I think you'd really hit it off with. His name is David, and he's a businessman, charming, successful, and not to mention very easy on the eyes."

"Crystal, I don't know," Tiffany hesitated, biting her lip. "I'm not sure I'm ready to date again, especially so soon after my breakup."

"Tiffany, I wouldn't suggest this if I didn't think it would be good for you," Crystal insisted, her blue eyes filled with sincerity. "You deserve some happiness and excitement in your life. And who knows? Maybe this guy could be the one to help you find it."

Tiffany mulled over Crystal's words, torn between her reluctance to dive back into the dating world and her desire to trust her friend's judgment. Finally, she let out a deep breath and nodded. "Alright, Crystal, if you think it's a good idea, I'll give it a shot."
