Anthony's expression softened slightly. Just as he knelt and was about to check on me, Yunice covered her mouth and glared at me with hatred. Then, she said, "What's happening to her? Is she having a miscarriage? Anthony, you've been with me these past few months. Whose baby is this?"

Hearing her words, Anthony stopped in his tracks and barked at me. "Shirley, how dare you cheat on me?"

I bit my lip and glared at him. "Don't you believe that the baby is yours? On second thought, given that you're with Yunice, why can't I find someone else? Do you think you're the only one who gets to break the rules? By the way, Yunice was the one who answered when my mom called you." As I spoke, I looked at him with despair. "If I die, I'll drag both of you down with me. You can throw all the dirt you want at me! If I live a miserable life, you guys won't get away with it either!"

Yunice seemed startled by my threat as she staggered back.

I was left writhing in pain. Slowly, I took out my phone and dialed a number. "Help me…"

When I woke up, I was in a hospital bed, and Alicia was sitting beside me.

"Shirley, you'll have another baby in the future. As for Anthony, he says he's busy."

I truly regretted what I had done in the past. Right now, all I wanted was to destroy them!

I never expected the manager to be Alicia's cousin. When I saw Brian Carra, my eyes welled up with tears.

I recalled the events and nodded. "Yes. He abused me. Please help me report it to the police."
