Chapter 1

Alicia's POV

"Ok byyee" I waved at my colleague as I got ready to leave work.

"Byeee" She replied, putting her stuffs in her bag hurriedly and smiling so big.

I shook my head at her as I knew the reason for her big smile.

Everyone is so excited to work for Cross Jackson's company tomorrow as their stylists. They all want to render their services to Cross Jackson's company because....well because he is Cross Jackson.

As for me, I'm excited because of the money I'm getting after work, and also I know getting hired by a big company to be their stylist will bring a big growth to the salon.

I got different type of smiles and grins from all of the female stylist in the salon including my plastic doll boss who was usually disgusted by everything around her.

I also overheard one of the stylist saying she would gladly let Cross Jackson fuck her if she got the chance.

I don't blame her and other girls having this crazy obsession over him. I mean he's cute, he's hot and his net worth is also hot, but I think he's kind of overrated. Or maybe I'm not really a huge fan of people like that.

I exited the salon, tucking my hair beneath my ear and took some steps to cross the road then suddenly a car sped up to me.

"Arhhhhh!!!" I screamed and fell on the ground, now feeling pains around my stomach. I moved my right hand over it, holding it tight, I closed my eyes feeling the pain increasing.

"Ow!" I whispered, sulking my lower lip as I heard my tummy grumbling.

When I opened my eyes, I saw a man in a nice suit, he ran to me and bent down assessing me from head to toe, his hands were on my shoulders with a look of deep concern on his face.

"Please tell me you're okay, please" He said, he was scared, I sniffed and nodded

"There's a baby there?" He gestured his head to my tummy, fear was obvious in his words, I chuckled and shook my head.

"Thank God" He mummured and moved his hands from my shoulders to my back, hugging it to my waist side.

"Don't worry I can..."

He interrupted me

"No, no, no, no let me help you up ma'am" He said and lifted me up with his hands gently around my waist.

"Ahh" I winced and narrowed an eye as I got up, still holding my tummy. The pain seem to increase every second.

"I'm sorry Miss, I'm so sorry" He said sincerely and looked at me with a pleading look.

I like the emotion on his face, it's making him cute.

He looked at the floor and stretched his hand downward for my bag, he handed it over and I slowly took it from him and hung it on my shoulder, my eyes were fixed on his brown ones and his eyes on mine.

Hmmm, he's so fine.

"Alright, let's take you to the hospital" He said still looking directly at my eyes.

"No, it's fine" I said, our eyes were still fixed at each other.

Are we in a staring contest?

I averted my gaze to the side and moved it back again to his own, his lip curved to a smile and I returned his smile with a smile. For no reason we were smiling at each other, I find this guy so adorable. He raised a brow and spread his arms

"Do you have any idea why we are smiling at each other like idiots?" He laughed between his words and I grinned.

"It's funn..." I was starting to say but someone interrupted me by clearing his voice or something like that.

I turned my face to the direction of where it's coming from and my eyes shone at the figure in front of me.

Cross fucking Jackson?!

Wait, is this for real? I blinked to confirm It's not fake. My mouth was in a perfect letter 'O' form as his structure turned my eyes upside down, it's no wonder many girls are after him so badly.

Let's start from his gold hair falling to his face. He used his masculine left fingers that were almost covered with black rings to comb his hair to the back, exposing a squared handsome face which was contained by the flash of captivating blue eyes that swam in my brain.

Jesus.

His damp red lips were more moisturized as he licked it gently revealing his two dimples.

God have mercy...

A black shirt was perfect for his fitted body, uncovering a little of the tiny strands of gold hair that slept on his broad chest and a black pants to match with his black boots.

He pocketed his right hand which I guessed was also designed in black rings and there was a glistening wristwatch on display.

He marched, step by step, slightly bouncing at the same time in front of me, his sharp masculine scent dominating the atmosphere. He removed his hand from the pocket of his pants and combed his hair that was trying to fall again.

Wealth, beauty, pride and style was written all over him.

His blue eyes stared at me deeply, so deep that I didn't dare to look away, my heart skipped. I've never gotten that kind of stare in my entire life. He dipped his hand in his pocket and stretched a card to me.

"Call me if there's anything you need for your treatment" His voice is so deep just like the way he stared at me seconds ago, it was so emotionless but pleasing, I didn't realize my mouth was still opened when he pressed his first and second finger on my lips to shut them.

"Your mouth is opened" He said in a mocking tone.

Fuck.

Embarrassment pinched me and I gulped down my silver. I breathed in and out and summoned all the courage in me to take the card from him with shakey hands. His eyes roamed my body like he's searching for something before turning around to the car. I felt something weird feeling about him, I just can't describe it......

"Helloo" The nice guy in a nice suit made me conscious that he was still here.

"I'm sorry?" I almost stuttered.

"Nothing" He said in a light playful tone.

"What?" I asked again

"Oh, it's nothing" He said emphasizing on the 'nothing'. I half smiled knowing exactly what he meant by nothing, he smiled back at me bringing in his cuteness, but can never meet Cross's standard.

Just call.... please...,okay?" He said raising his thumb to his ear and smiled at me.

He put his fist forward for a fist bump and I smiled back, doing the fist bump with him before saying bye to each other.

I grinned as he entered the car, we clicked so easily. It was a natural thing but Cross, it was..... I don't know how to describe that. My smile wiped away as the scene played in my head.

I really saw Cross!!

The one and only Cross!!

It looked unreal, but why am I having the feeling that I'll see him again and again and again and....

I sighed.

To be honest I don't like the feeling cause I know he's not going to be an easy man with the way he compelled me with a stare, an intense stare.
