Homewrecker in My Home
Chapter 3
After my call with Gary ended, I watched Quinn pout on screen, trying to act cute. "Oh God, you have no idea. She suddenly barged in today and terrified me. I thought we got exposed already."
Gary kissed her affectionately. "You're so silly. I've survived all kinds of storms. This is nothing. Speaking of which, it's almost the end of the year. How about I take you to an auction to relax?"
Quinn excitedly wrapped her arms around his neck, and her hand slowly moved down to his chest. The next scene made me want to throw up.

Zach was very reliable.
By the next morning, I had received his investigation results as soon as I woke up. Quinn was not Gary's cousin at all. At most, she was from the same hometown. Before Gary met me, she was most likely his first love.
When Gary and I were dating, the two of them had often flirted with each other. Back then, Gary had not yet found his footing in the city, so nothing had really happened between them.
After we got married, his career started taking off. Once he had money, his desire grew along with it.
He rented an apartment for her, and the two of them lived there together.
I looked through the expenses record Zach gave me. Everything she had for her daily expenses was the best. Over the years, Gary had spent nearly a million dollars on her.
Using the clues Zach gave me, I logged into my alternate account and looked through the photos Quinn had posted online. She had built herself the perfect online persona as the wife of a wealthy man.
Some of the things she wore included the diamond necklace that was bought for my birthday, as well as the diamond ring my parents had given me. The more evidence I saw, the angrier I became. Thinking about how much I had once trusted Gary made me feel disgusted.
Her latest post was a video about a tour of the large apartment my mother had left me. In the video, she said in a smug tone, "After living in this 3,200-square-foot apartment overlooking the Redwyne River for so long, I'm starting to feel that this place is a little small. If my husband weren't so sentimental, I would really want to sell it off cheap."
Many of her online fans immediately commented.
[Wow, you want to sell such a beautiful apartment with that view?]
[How cheap are you talking?]
[Can I get a bargain?]
Quinn eagerly replied to the comments. "That depends on my mood. The price doesn't matter."
All her fans said she was so lucky to have found a husband who loved her and was rich. She then replied, "Yeah, he told me that all I need is to stay beautiful, and he'll make money to support the family. He's even taking me to an auction in a few days."
I immediately replied with my alternate account.
[Can you livestream the auction? I'm just a worker, so I want to see the real thing, too. To broaden my horizon and all.]
My suggestion immediately got support from many of her fans. They liked my comment one after another, and soon, it reached a thousand likes.
Quinn then replied, "Fine. Since you all want to see it, I'll start a livestream that day. You have to come see me, okay? I'll also pick a few lucky followers on the spot and give them some big gifts."
Seeing her agree to my suggestion, I finally relaxed.
I had to prepare properly. The grand performance would require my attendance.
