Chapter 2

Emma POV

Of course, I hate knowing that my husband is falling in love with his ex. When I got home that night, I decided to burn all his clothes. I unpacked everything with the intention of actually doing what I was thinking about doing, but then I backed away, regretting it and thinking that I still loved him because he was my husband anyway.

I had left so much behind because of him, so I wasn't going to let a slut like Kylie Abbott take him away from me, I was still going to regain my husband's love for me. When he came home, his intention was to fight with me and not speak to me again for a long time, but he couldn't even guess what I was up to.

His hands were on my waist while his mouth was on mine, kissing me passionately. He took off my clothes in a hurry, being horny and anxious to have me in his arms.

"Fucking hell, you are so addicting today..." he stammered amidst the kisses and caresses.

I smiled at that, hugging his shoulders. "I'm all yours, Jasper..." I encouraged him to continue.

He threw me on the bed, getting on top of me while kissing me and caressing my body, leaving me involved at the moment and eager to have him. It was then that, when he stopped what he was doing and then showed me a bottle in his hand with Viagra written on it, he looked surprised.

"What is that?" He asked me, looking at me accusingly. I swallowed, still looking at him. I had put Viagra in his drink at dinner, and now he had found the bottle that was hidden under the pillow. "Is that why I'm so fired up today? Why are you leading me into this?" He asked, looking angry and then got up from the bed, clicking his tongue. "Fucking shit."

I held his arm. "Don't go, Jasper... stay here with me, I'm your wife..." I begged with a sad look.

But he let go of me as if I were nothing more than a nuisance to him. "Let go of me! What are you trying to do? Are you trying to get pregnant?"

I shrugged lightly, feeling attacked. "We have been married for three years. It's past time for us to start planning to have children."

He snorted derisively as he was wearing back his pants. "I already told you that I don't want any of your children."

"Why not? Do you intend to get your mistress pregnant, don't you?" My words were bitter. I knew he had been seeing his ex-girlfriend for a long time. All those nights when he arrived home late or didn't even come home at all, I sat there on the couch by the window waiting for him, looking down to see if his car was going to enter the mansion's gates.

Her appearance in my husband's office confirmed all my suspicions, he was falling in love with her, yes, that woman from his past who he had sworn to me that he had forgotten about before we even got married. It had hurt like hell when I found out about it, that he was cheating on me so blatantly. But even that I had decided to forgive, in the name of this immense love I felt for him.

"I know you are meeting her. Are you going to say no? I bet she's the one you think about, that's why you can't touch me anymore." I threw those words in his face, feeling anger and anguish.

Why couldn't he and I just be happy like all the other couples? He had chosen me as his wife, and I had chosen him too, and we get married. Everything was supposed to be perfect, but the blindness he had towards that woman didn't let him think straight. I hated her so much, she had only brought bad things into my life.

"At least she please me, unlike you, who can't do it at all," he said mockingly. "You stink at everything you do, Emma. You don't know how to cook good food, you don't follow a diet, and even at work as my secretary, you just annoy me. Speaking of which, I don't want you in my company offices anymore. I'm tired of you." He was wearing his clothes while insulting me with his words and being rude to me.

"Stop it, Jasper... Can't you see that your words hurt me?" I was crying, my voice breaking as I begged. "Look at the way you're treating me like I'm nobody to you. I'm your wife, Jasper. Your wife... You're bewitched by Kaylie, that whore, but I know you love me," I said while I cried.

He mocked me as he put on his shoes. "You are pathetic, Emma. I don't know where I was in my head when I married a woman as worthless as you," he threw those words at me, getting up from the chair after putting on his shoes, soon after he picked up the keys.

"Where are you going?" I asked quickly, grabbing his arm.

"You got me with a fucking hard-on here. What do you want? I'm going to find a woman I like, so I can satisfy myself," he said, looking at me from top to bottom with contempt. "Since you can't please me," he despised me.

I shook my head, desperate, wanting him to stay. "No... Please, my husband, don't hurt me like that, I'm already getting sick from everything that's happening... Stay here with me, I promise I'll try harder, I'll lose weight, and I'll take good care of myself on the way you want, then I can please you," I begged, not wanting to let him leave.

He chuckled mockingly. "Will you try harder to please me? For that you would have to die and be born again, mediocre woman!" He shouted authoritatively, pushing me to the floor forcefully, making me fall on my butt on the carpet in our room.

I cried in pain, but he didn't even look at me again, leaving our room, closing the door tightly behind him, and walking away. I ran to the window as I cried, watching him go to his car, get in the squad car, and rush out. Likewise, I was sure he was going after Kaylie, his mistress, so he could have fun with her without even caring about me.

I collapsed on the floor, hugging my own body with my arms, a wave of sadness and anguish invading me. I started to wonder why I was fighting so hard for Jasper when this marriage was already over. He didn't want me anymore, he despised me, he didn't think I was more beautiful or anything no matter how hard I tried.

He didn't even want to have kids with me, so why was I so insistent on this? Likewise, he hated me, no matter what I did to please him he was never pleased. So it was better for me to say enough to all that, or at least pretend that I was leaving, at least that way he would realize that he loved me and would want to get back together with me.

So I got up from the floor and went to pack my bags while I cried.
