Her Alpha's Ultimate Betrayal
Chapter 6
Alayah lay on the bed, her breathing shallow, her lips cracked and pale. The sister who had always been like a sunflower to me now seemed on the verge of withering away.
I held a damp cloth to her forehead, wiping away the beads of sweat, my tears falling uncontrollably.
She managed a weak smile, her voice barely audible. "You look so ugly when you cry."
I couldn’t hold back anymore. I threw myself beside her bed, sobbing uncontrollably.
Alayah turned her head away, avoiding my gaze. Her voice trembled as she spoke. "All my savings are in my box. Take them."
I cried harder, clutching her tightly. "I don’t want the money. I want you."
"Don’t be foolish. Just keep it safe for me."
I thought about my ability to remember my past life, my reincarnation. If I could do it once, maybe I could do it again. Perhaps one day, I really could return the money I’d saved to her.
I told her everything—about my rebirth, my memories, my second chance at life.
Finally, I asked, "If we really meet again in the future, how can I help you?"
Her eyes lit up slightly at my words, a flicker of hope in their depths. She thought carefully before answering.
"On September 9th, 2025, at the intersection of Peace Street and Red Star Street in Greenwood City, I was struck by a falling billboard. After that, I ended up in this era. If we truly meet again, please... save me."
Her voice grew thick with emotion, her words choked with sobs.
"I don’t want to come back to this cruel era. I miss our mother. I want to go home!"
