Goddess Mode Unlocked: Trash Bride, Hidden Legend
Three years ago, Corinna had been an orphan, taken in by an influential family to marry their comatose heir.
Then the groom woke up, and the vows curdled; he treated her like worthless, disposable trash.
After her car wreck, she lay bleeding on the asphalt while he cheated with the woman he truly wanted. Something in her snapped, and she asked for a divorce with numb, shattered calm.
After walking away from the marriage, her secrets unraveled-a top-tier heiress, a hacker beyond reach, and a once-in-a-generation healer.
Her ex came crawling back, begging, unraveling, and losing control. But it was all too late.

Chapter 6
The response online was immediate. Thousands of remarks flooded the screen within minutes.
"Oh wow, this is vile. Margot really thinks she can sell some fake fairytale while sneaking around with a married man?"
"I cannot stand Vincent Spencer. His wife was clinging to life, and he chose that moment to crawl into bed with another woman. This makes me sick."
"Margot is a two-faced bitch. She showed her true colors the moment he was labeled a vegetable and walked away without hesitation. Now she's back, trying to erase his wife and claim that place for herself. How can anyone be this brazen?"
As the outrage intensified and the blame landed exactly where it belonged, Corinna finally let out a slow breath. A restrained smile appeared on her lips.
A gentle alert broke the moment. Her assistant had sent a message.
"The CEO of Spencer Group is requesting a meeting to discuss a potential partnership."
A partnership? Very well. If Vincent wanted a face-to-face conversation, she would not refuse.
Corinna replied, "Set the appointment."
......
Not long after he left the family estate, Vincent headed straight for Margot's.
When the door opened, Margot looked up in surprise. "Vincent… you came." She wore a light-colored dress that reflected the moonlight, and her makeup was flawless, making her features appear gentle and carefully composed.
Happiness shone clearly across her face at first.
However, that warmth faded once she took a closer look at him.
Standing before her, Vincent looked distant and unapproachable. His rigid expression and cold gaze made the air around him feel heavy.
Unease crept in, and her smile faltered. "Vincent… did something happen?" She studied his face, no longer confident in what she saw.
Without softening his tone, he said, "On the eleventh, did you go through my phone?"
That date marked the time when she had gotten into trouble after returning, and it was also when he had remained by her side without leaving. At the same time, Corinna had been in a car accident, something he had known nothing about.
He also had no idea that Corinna had tried to call him that day, nor did he realize someone else had answered and allowed her to hear Margot's intimate sounds on the other end.
Had the scandal not erupted online, the truth might have stayed buried forever.
All the color drained from Margot's face. She shook her head in panic. "No, that's not what happened. I didn't do that. Corinna is setting me up."
"Are you still denying it?" His eyes hardened further as he continued, "I already verified everything. On that day, Corinna did call my phone, but you were the one who answered it."
Clenching his jaw, he spoke again. "There was never anything between you and me. So tell me, what reason did you have to do something like that?"
Only then did the truth settle in for him. Corinna had loved him without hesitation, yet she had suddenly asked for a divorce because she believed the worst.
Had he taken that call himself, he would never have brushed her aside. He would not have remained by Margot's side afterward.
"I did it because I love you," Margot said, and tears immediately spilled over. Her voice shook as sobs overtook her. "Vincent, you loved me once. I was meant to be your wife. When you were injured, and everyone believed you would never wake up, I suffered more than you know. I wanted to stay with you. I wanted to care for you, but my parents refused to allow it. They made me leave. They sent me abroad against my will."
Her body trembled as she continued, "Even while I was overseas, you never left my thoughts. I followed every demand my family made of me. I built a life they approved of. And by the time I finally returned, you had already married Corinna."
Fresh tears streamed down her face as her voice cracked. "Do you have any idea what it did to me when I saw the two of you together? Do you understand how deeply that cut?"
For a brief moment, Vincent's features softened, yet distance remained in his tone. "What happened back then no longer matters."
With steady composure, he met her gaze. "Corinna is my wife now."
Shock rooted Margot in place. Was he truly choosing Corinna over her?
His voice lowered, firm and final. "Margot, there won't be a next time." After holding her gaze for a long second, he turned his back and walked away without looking back.
Left alone, Margot broke down and sobbed uncontrollably.
Corinna's name tasted like poison on her tongue. "Just wait," she swore silently. "I'll make you pay."

I spent five years laundering my family's wealth and buying military-grade weapons to crown my husband, Alistair, the Don of the Chicago Mafia.
But the night before his coronation, he drove an Italian stiletto into my stomach.
He sneered that a Don needed a true Mafia Queen, and that was always meant to be his "fragile" friend, Kylie.
As I bled out on the Persian rug, he revealed the sickening truth.
The night I was found in a rival Irish boss's bed two years ago wasn't a setup by our enemies. Alistair had ordered his own mother and sister to drug and frame me.
He just needed me terrified enough to sign over my merchant trust fund to prove my loyalty.
My entire marriage, my sacrifices, and my stolen wealth were just stepping stones for him and his mistress.
I had bled for him and won him the city, only to be slaughtered like a sacrificial lamb so he could hand my empire to another woman.
Before the flames I started consumed us both, I swore I'd drag his entire family to hell.
Opening my eyes again, the suffocating smoke was gone, replaced by the scent of lavender and the bitter taste of chloral hydrate.
I was back on the exact night of the frame-up two years ago.
Outside the door, my sister-in-law was whispering, waiting for the Irish boss to arrive so they could ruin me.
This time, I was going to make sure she was the one in that bed.
