Chapter 2

When I got home in a daze, it was already dark.

As soon as I entered the living room, I saw Serina affectionately feeding Leonard a piece of fruit, and he smiled and ate it. Under the table, her stocking-clad foot was amorously rubbing against his calf.

It was a sore sight. My stomach churned, and I just wanted to escape immediately.

"You're home?" Leonard asked suddenly.

I froze and softly replied, "Yes."

"I've prepared hot water for you in the bathroom. Hurry and wash up." His tone was normal, and a little gentler.

I was stunned, wondering how Leonard thoughtfully prepared bath water for me.

After I stayed silent for a while, he suddenly slammed his hand on the table. "You're all dirty since you got back. Is it too hard for you to clean up?"

Serina leaned against him, smiling smugly and interjecting sweetly, "Leonard, don't do this. Ms. Lydia might just be tired from being busy. Unlike me, she doesn't know you have an obsession with cleanliness."

Leonard was enraged. He rushed over, grabbed my collar, and slammed me against the wall. The suffocating pressure tightened around me as he lifted me, pain written on my face. "I told you to go shower! You hear me?"

The shrill sound of tearing fabric rang.

He ripped all my clothes off in front of Serina, leaving me standing naked before them. My fair skin was riddled with red and swollen abrasions from years of disinfectant application.

Far from being surprised, Serina moved into a more comfortable position. Her gaze swept over my exposed skin; her eyes filled with undisguised mockery, as if admiring an object. Her blatant gaze made my chest tighten, making it hard to breathe.

Leonard took me to the bathroom door like I was a dirty rag, his eyes overflowing with disgust. It was as if even touching me would dirty his hands.

Tears ran down my face without me even realizing. I took a deep breath; it would all be over in a couple of days anyway. A shower would not hurt.

Pulling back the shower curtain, I discovered that the bathroom window was open much larger than usual. I hurried to close it, completely forgetting I was bare naked.

The window was wide open, unable to be closed.

I had just realized my chest was exposed when I met the lewd gaze of a pack of unfamiliar male wolves in the distance. They were staring at me brazenly, commenting obscenely.

"She was the most beautiful she-wolf in Silvermoon Pack back in the day. Take a good look, or she'll be sold to those old Alphas in a couple of days."

"Don't just look! We have a mission today. Make sure you can film clearly, or we will not get a good price!"

"She has a great figure. She’d be a good sex slave."

I froze. The thought that Leonard had arranged this made my heart feel as though it were being ripped apart. The pain made my vision blur as I almost fainted. I hurriedly crouched down, hugging myself tightly and curling into a ball.

The night breeze from outside the window felt like knives against my exposed skin. I trembled uncontrollably. Tears poured out as my throat was choked with five years' worth of grievances.

'If my father were still alive, I would never have to suffer like this. I miss home so much, so so much...' I thought as I desperately held back my tears, terrified Leonard would hear and tie me up so people could see me.

Outside, Serina's wanton moans blared unabashedly.

Leonard confessed passionately, "Darling, don't worry, I've never touched her. You are the one I care about most. She broke us up. A shameless she-wolf like her deserves this."

Serina's moans came in waves. Leonard completely forgot about me, and I was frozen stiff.

As dawn approached, Leonard finally opened the door, tossing me a tattered towel. "I forgot you were here."

There was not a hint of apology in his voice. "I got busy and forgot."

Just then, the phone rang, and he answered it right in front of me.

"I got the video. I did not expect her to be such a gem. Those old Alphas are eager for a figure like hers."

Leonard chuckled softly. "I told you. Do not let her current appearance fool you. She's got a good foundation. We'll definitely fetch a good price this time."
