ENSLAVED TO THE HYBRID ALPHA QUAD BROTHERS

"You're forever going to be enslaved to me, Kaia" Xendith snarled. "And I won't let you leave until I ruin you" *** The story begins with Kaia, an omega running into the woods at night to avoid being hanged to death by Alpha Beckett, the alpha king of Buckmoon pack where Kaia hails from. Alpha Beckett strongly believes that Kaia had a hand in killing his son, Matteo the night before their mating ceremony. Beckett catches up with Kaia and just as he's about to take action, Xendith, an hybrid alpha from sturgeon moon pack swoops in. He pretends to be Kaia's mate as he saves her from the clutches of Beckett's hands. After being able to get rid of Beckett, Xendith gives Kaia to choices; to be his mate or be abandoned in the woods. Kaia choses to be his mate. She follows Xendith back to his pack where she realizes that she's not just a mate to Xendith but also his three brothers; Aklan (the player), Pliar ( cool-headed yet rational) and Cali (the book-worm).

Chapter 2

Xendith

A little brief introduction to my brothers before I boil down to the reason why I brought home a mate they couldn't refuse.

My brothers and I are quadruplets of which I'm the eldest. The second of the quad is Pliar.

Pliar is much more outspoken and headstrong than the rest of us. He doesn't like being told what to do and what not to do.

But who does?. No one likes being bossed around.

Next is Cali, the most reserved quad. Most of the pack elders often times wondered if Cali was truly our brother as he was so different from the rest of us.

Be it in terms of speech, attitude or character. The last of the quad is Aklan, the spoiled child whom most always get what he wants.

The four of us were to ascend to the throne after the death of our father, Alpha Lionel but it was impossible without a mate.

As the entire pack members of Sturgeon moon pack feared us, no one desired to be our mate. Even at the cost of a fee.

This angered me. In a fleet of rage, I'd set out to hunt and the moon goddess had blessed me with a prey. A desperate prey.

"Our new mate?" Pliar, inquired. "Says who?"

"Says all of us" I retorted. "It's not like we have a choice. Plus, she agreed to it"

"Mother isn't going to buy it" Cali chimes in, calmly. "The fact that we suddenly have a mate from nowhere when no one in the pack house can literally stay within one feet from us"

I rolled my eyes at Cali's words. He just had to go and say something meaningful.

"So, we make mother believe it" I argued. "It's not that hard and honestly; it's a win-win situation for all of us"

"I don't see the issue here" Aklan says. "I'm totally down" Turning to face our mate, he asked. "What's your name, sweetie?"

It was then I realized I didn't even know her name. Not that I cared.

"Kaia" She replies with a low voice. "My name is Kaia"

"Kaia" Aklan draws out slowly with a not-so friendly smile spread across his face. "I like you already, Kaia"

Turning to face me, Aklan acknowledged. "I'm all down with Xendith's absurd idea"

"Well, I'm not" Pliar cuts in sharply.

Aklan shrugs. "Then you can as well give up the throne"

Pliar grabbed Aklan roughly by the collar. "F*ck you, Aklan. That throne belongs to me!"

Cali moves in-between Aklan and Pliar-separating them- "The throne belongs to all of us so there's no need fighting, Pliar"

Cali's gaze rested on me. "Like I'd said before, mother won't believe that we have a mate out of nowhere so what do you intend to do about that?"

"It's simple" I replied. "We turn her into a mate that mother wouldn't be able to suspect. Mother would be back in 2 days. Kaia should be able to play her part perfectly by then." I glanced over at Kaia. "Wouldn't you?"

Kaia nods. "I would"

"Then it's all settled" A yawn escaped my mouth. "It's been a very long night. I'm going to bed"

As I proceeded to leave, a firm hand holds me back. Thinking it was Pliar, I turned around to give him a piece of my mind but swallowed my words once I saw that it was Kaia.

She looked frightened but that was understandable. With her eyes to the ground, she asks quietly. "Can I come with you?"

I suppressed the urge to smile. I'd expected this from her. That given the fact that she knew me-although to an extent-more than my brothers, it was obvious that she would cling to me.

Like the saying goes, better the devil you know than the devil you don't know. I had Kaia wrapped around my fingers. The throne was for all of us. No doubt. But our mate would belong to me.

Sternly, I replied. "Speak more clearly and look at me while you do"

Slowly she raised up her head and our eyes held contact. "Can I come with you?"

"To my bed?"

Kaia shakes her head. "N-No, that's not what I mea-"

"I've had a long day and I'm tired, Kaia. I don't have the strength to carry you around anymore with your injured ankle so-"

"Come with me" Cali says to Kaia. It was then I noticed his presence. Well that was Cali's forte. He was a steal walker. "I'll get treat your ankle and show you to your room"

Kaia looked hesitant to follow Cali so I gave her a little reassurance. "It's alright. Of all my brothers, you can trust Cali. He won't try to sleep with you like Aklan or kill you like Pliar so you're in good hands. Go on"

But my reassurance only seemed to frighten her the more. You can't blame me though. I was only telling her the truth.

I growled. "Whatever. Whether you go with Cali or not, I'm out of here. I have a terrible headache right now"

With that said, I walked out through the door heading straight to my room. On getting there, I fell ontop the soft mattress. "What an exhausting day"

But it was worth every ounce of it. Now, the throne was no longer far from reach. That thought excited me as I let out soft giggles.

Regardless of the turns of events, something still bothered me. Something the man that had pursed Kaia earlier mentioned.

"She killed his son" I repeat. "For all I know, that man could have overexagerrated it but that doesn't still hide the fact that I knew nothing about her"

The last thing I wanted to do was to be involved in Kaia's personal life but I had to clarify what kind of person I was bringing into the pack.

And to do that, I needed Beta Rowan's help so I summoned him instantly.

"Greetings, Alpha Xendith. You summoned me?"

Sitting upright on the bed, I respond. "Rowan, how has things in the pack been for you? You must be bored out of your mind, aren't you?"

"I didn't say-"

"I'll take that as a 'Yes' because I have a job for you" I say. "A very private job. Word must not get out about this. Not even to my brothers, is that clear?"

"Yes, Alpha Xendith"

"Very good. You saw the girl I brought home tonight, didn't you?"

"The one you carried earlier?"

"Yes. Her" I agreed. "Dig up everything you can possibly find on her and leave not even the slightest detail out"

The Silverfang pack house was loud. Too loud. Crystal chandeliers threw harsh light over the crowded banquet hall. Laughter and music mixed with the clinking of champagne glasses. It was a celebration of new alliances. But to me, it felt like walking into a cage. It had been exactly three years since I ran away. Three years since I shattered my own soul to save a boy who had nothing. Now, I was back. I smoothed the skirt of my dark green dress and kept my chin high.

The entire pack was waiting to see how I, Margot Butler, and the Silver Fang Pack would handle this scandal. But the next morning, Logan Moore, the so-called “cold-hearted Alpha,” arrived at my family’s estate, his expression unreadable yet resolute. “Kenneth stole my mate,” he said, his voice steady but with an undercurrent of anger. “His debt, you’ll repay. We’ll be mated in ten days. Do you agree?” I lowered my gaze, watching the koi fish swim lazily in the pond. “I agree.” --- “I accept your proposal.” Perhaps surprised by my immediate agreement, Logan’s stoic expression faltered for a moment, a faint crease forming between his brows.

The rain battered against the stone walls of the Pack House, echoing the hollow ache inside my chest. It had been exactly three years. Three years since the rogue attack that turned my life into a waking nightmare. Three years since I held the cold, tiny body of my daughter, Kiara, and screamed until my throat bled. Today, the pack was silent, respectful of the Alpha’s mourning—or so I thought. I clutched the small velvet box containing the only thing I had left of her: a silver locket. I wanted Bennett to go with me to the gravesite. As the Alpha and my Chosen Mate, he should have been by my side. But he wasn’t in his office, and he wasn’t in our bedroom. "Council meetings," he had told me this morning, his eyes failing to meet mine.

The sacred ceremony hall buzzed with anticipation as pack members gathered for what should have been the most joyous occasion of my life—my pup's naming ceremony. Moonlight streamed through the ancient stained glass windows, casting ethereal patterns across the marble floor where Phoenix stood at the altar, his golden eyes scanning the crowd with Alpha authority. I clutched my three-day-old son closer to my chest, his tiny fingers wrapped around mine as he slept peacefully, unaware of the tension crackling through the air like electricity before a storm. The delicate scent of jasmine and vanilla that marked him as mine mingled with the ceremonial incense, creating what should have been a perfect moment. But nothing about this ceremony felt right. Phoenix hadn't looked at me once since we'd entered the hall. His attention remained fixed on Ivory Johnston, who stood beside him in a flowing white dress that caught the moonlight like she was the Luna presenting the heir. The sight of her there, in what should have been my place, sent a familiar ache through my chest. "We gather tonight under the Moon Goddess's blessing," Phoenix's voice boomed through the hall, carrying that commanding Alpha tone that made lesser wolves bow their heads. "To welcome the newest member of our pack." I stepped forward when he gestured, my heart hammering against my ribs.

The stack of freshly folded laundry in my arms felt heavier than usual as I approached Alpha Camden's office. Soleil's tiny dresses and Camden's pressed shirts smelled of the lavender detergent I'd carefully selected—a small touch I hoped would bring comfort to this house that often felt more like a battleground than a home. I raised my hand to knock, then froze. Camden's voice carried through the heavy oak door, speaking in the clipped tone he used for mind-link conversations with his Beta. "She's just the nanny, Marcus," Camden's words hit me like ice water. "A useful omega for Soleil's care, nothing more." My fingers tightened on the laundry basket's handles. The electric sparks I felt whenever our hands accidentally brushed—surely he felt them too? The way his wolf's scent seemed to call to something deep inside me, even without my own wolf to respond? "The pack members are starting to talk," Marcus Reid's voice came through more faintly, but I caught the concern in his tone. "They see how she cares for Soleil, how she anticipates your needs.
