Chapter 4

Madison POV.

The sun rays hit my closed eyes, I slowly opened my eyes and could see I'm in an unfamiliar room.

I yawned and turned my head to the right to see a handsome looking man laying beside me asleep.

I gulped down heavily, taken aback.

Wait a minute.. Last night??

My eyes went wide open as I rushed down the bed and at the same time, I tried not to wake him up.

Damn

Madison what have you done?

I don't do this kind of shit.. this is my first time.

First time I'd have sex with a random stranger and to be honest, he was really good.

I clearly remembered last night, the way I held unto his biceps, the way he kept thrusting in, his smirk were charming also.

“What if he wakes up and start it all over again?” I thought and slowly smiled.

I paused immediately..

“Am I fantasizing him or what?” my eyes went wide.

I blinked my eyes rapidly that if anyone could see me right now, they would think I'm a barbie doll.

“Sh!t, I have to be in the hospital this morning” I cussed beneath my breath and tiptoed to get my clothes on.

As soon as I was done, I walked out the room through the door without looking back.

" I am not to be late today, I don't know what Doctor Melvin, my senior doctor has in store for me today” I groaned as I managed to zip up my dress myself and walked down the stairs hurriedly.

Now, I have to find Krystal!

Where the hell would she be now?

I took out my phone from my bag to call her line but it wasn't reachable.

It kept diverting to voicemail.

“Damn, I'm gonna be leaving you then" I shrugged and walked out of the bar to check if she had gone with the car or something..

Okay, she didn't.

The car is just where she parked it and I am with the car key.

“Krystal I hope you don't get mad at me for leaving you behind, but I have to be at work now" I prayed lowly as I sat inside the car, revived the engine, and drove away immediately.

Zach Westley

A knock on the door woke me up from my beautiful sleep, I don't know if I've had any like this one in the past few weeks.

I groaned lowly as i sat up on the bed, then I noticed the bed is empty.

Now I'm disappointed..

I thought I slept next to her..

Why would she just leave?

I carved my brows and looked around my room totally confused, had she gone into the bathroom or?.

Another knock was heard.

I rolled my eyes with a low groan, I placed my hands on my head as I let my head to fall down low.

“And who's it?" I replied

Clearly disturbed.

“It's me Zach" Adrian replied. I placed my hands on my face and my fingers on my eyes as I gently rubbed my eyes.

" Please come in” I replied and leaned against the bed.

Adrian walked in the this smile on his face that I don't understand.

What could he possibly be smiling at?

" Hey! I'm not gay..don't smile at me that way, it's creeping me out” I said to him immediately and got hold of a pillow next to me.

He laughed out immediately and sat next to me " Hope you enjoyed your night, Zach Westley?“ He asked me with this side smile

"I had terrible nightmares, you were in my dreams chicken!“ I replied sarcastically and heard him laugh

" Oh, no! Never..if I'm to be in your dreams, I'd probably be fvcking you and that's not a nightmare” he replied and I slapped my forehead.

" When will you ever stop flirting with me Adrian?” I laughed and he did too.

“When I'll find you unattractive” he replied and I rolled my eyes.

" Never gonna happen, and do you know where she is?“ I asked a hundred percent sure he knows who I am referring to.

" Oh, your pretty bunny?” he replied with a grin.

“Yeah…”

" She already left this morning, she left in a hurry. Maybe she has somewhere to go” he shrugged.

I looked at him blankly before I looked away.

" I don't care, find her” I replied with authority.

I want to see her, again, and know her.

I have never felt this way about anyone, she won't make me feel this way and leave like that.

Madison POV

I arrived at the hospital safe and sound, I sprung the door open hoping no one will see me in my locker room.

“Damn, I really need to wash up" I muttered and opened my locker to get my face wipes out.

I took it out and shut my locker close just to see no one else but Krystal standing and smiling at me like a clown.

" Jesus! Christ! You startled me” I yelped as I flinched back

" Oh, sorry princess..didn't mean to” she replied as she pulled me back by my shoulder.

I rolled my eyes seeing she was still smiling at me. I know she has something to say.

" What?“ I asked her immediately

" Miss one drink, turned out enjoyed your one drink huh?” she teased me.

“Look, Krystal I am not in the mood right now to talk okay?" I replied and hurriedly took out my face wipes then used it on my face.

“Yeah sure, you should just know that later, you would tell me everything that happened last night and would not spare a single detail" she winked at me

" You sure did have fun” she smirks before walking away.

I stared at her leaving figure for a while before I returned to what I was doing.

" You would also tell me where you spent your night” I chuckled in my thoughts and went to the mirror to use my makeup on my face, change into my scrubs and packed my hair in a ponytail.

“Good to go" I sighed before I left.

Once I stepped into the ER, Doctor Melvin called my name out.

" Doctor Madison, OR 3, we have an emergency patient” he said to me as he pulled a man on a gurney.

Oh a gunshot…

Early in the morning, what else should I expect.. it's actually normal.

“Darly Madison, OR 3!" he repeated as he ran into the elevator.

“Okay okay I'm coming" I replied and sprint into the elevator with him putting my scrub cap on.

Zach Westley

" Darly Madison, 27 years old. Her parents are deceased, she graduated from a private university in Germany and now, she's currently working at Spring Hills hospital as a professional doctor and surgeon” Adrian said as he raised up the laptop he had in his hands and detailed Madison's information.

I had to do a background check on her

" A doctor and surgeon, how interesting” I smiled

" I never knew doctors could be that wild..“ I continued as the images of last night flashed back to my memories.

“So she ran off to the hospital this morning huh?” I said and crossed my legs on the couch I was seated on.

“Shit!" Adrian cussed.

I raised my brows at him wondering what he was probably looking at.

“F*ck!" He grumbled beneath his breath, He had his eyebrows furrowed together at his sudden scowl.

“What's up?" I asked him

“Greg and his brother caused a fight this morning, one of our men shot his brother Kelvin, and now he's at Spring Hills hospital for am operation” he explained clearly angered.

The thought of Madison and Greg having an encounter was enough to make my blood boil. I can never allow that a$$hole go any closer to her for any reason.

Therefore, I got up my seat and went to get my car keys as I sped off to Spring Hills hospital.
