CHRISTMAS IN YOUR ARMS

CHRISTMAS IN YOUR ARMS

For Claire, Christmas has always been about survival. She only wanted to keep life steady for her daughter Emma after heartbreak and loss. Moving to a quiet snowy town was meant to be a fresh start, not the beginning of something new for her heart. Jack, a widowed single father, has built his world around his children. He has hidden his own longing for love beneath duty and routine. But when Claire and Emma step into his life, the walls he carefully built begin to melt away like snow under the winter sun. As festive lights glow and snow falls gently around them, Claire and Jack discover laughter, warmth, and the kind of connection they never thought they would feel again. Their children bond, their hearts open, and slowly, a friendship begins to grow into something far deeper. But love after loss is never simple. Can Claire trust her heart again. Can Jack embrace the future instead of living in the past. This Christmas, two families are given a second chance to heal, to hope, and to find themselves forever in each other's arms. Christmas in Your Arms is a heartwarming holiday romance filled with tender moments, snowy nights, and the magic of love that feels like coming home.

Chapter 6

The storm had rolled in heavier than expected, covering the roads with thick snow and making travel impossible. Claire had stopped by Jack's house earlier to drop Emma off for a quick playdate with Lily, but as the hours passed, the weather turned fierce. By evening, the two families realized there would be no going home that night. Jack lit the fireplace, its orange glow warming the living room as the children squealed with delight at the thought of a sleepover. They helped set the table, carrying plates and giggling as though this unexpected storm had been planned all along. Dinner was simple but filling-Jack had pulled together roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, and vegetables, and Claire added her apple pie she had brought along. Around the table, laughter rose easily. Emma and Lily made jokes only children could find funny, and even Jack's quiet son, Noah, joined in, his eyes sparkling as he listened to Emma's stories. When the children had finally retreated upstairs to build pillow forts and whisper long into the night, Jack and Claire found themselves alone in the living room. Snow tapped gently against the window, and the fire cracked, wrapping the moment in an intimacy neither expected. "You have a way of making this house feel alive," Jack said, his voice low but steady. Claire looked at him, surprised. "Me?" "Yes, you. You bring light with you. And Emma too. It has been quiet here for so long, but when you walk in, it feels... different. Better." Her chest tightened at his words, warmth blooming where she had long carried caution. For a moment, she wanted to tell him how much his steadiness had meant to her, how she had not felt this seen in years. But the words caught in her throat. Jack's gaze lingered on her, his eyes soft and unguarded. "Claire..." he began, but then stopped, as though unsure if he should say more. She held his gaze, her heart thudding louder than the storm outside. The moment stretched, fragile and full of possibility. Yet before either could say what lingered unspoken, a burst of laughter from upstairs broke the spell. Claire smiled nervously, and Jack gave a small nod, his lips curving into a smile that carried both promise and restraint. The confession remained unsaid, but the air between them had shifted. The storm had bound them together, and in the stillness of that night, something tender had taken root.

He Chose Her Over Our Child
9.2
My world shattered twice. First, the ocean claimed my son. Then, the mountain road took another, a direct sacrifice to the man I loved and the woman he chose. In the hospital, beeps marked the emptiness where my second son used to be, echoing the first loss, both involving Holden and Giana. During the car crash, I was pinned, bleeding, and trapped. Holden, my partner, looked me in the eyes, then chose to save Giana, abandoning me and our unborn child. Soon, I overheard Holden praising Giana for turning our tragedy into a PR win. His hollow apologies and focus on Giana’s "miracle work" reignited the brutal memory of her push and his past denials. A decade of sacrificing my life and two children for a man who saw me as a liability left a bitter taste. His choice was clear; only profound abandonment remained. But this time, I was choosing me. From my profound loss, a dangerous spark ignited: I would not just survive; I would find freedom and make him pay.
Hot For My New Stepbrother
7.1
I never should have let my mother hold my future hostage. She paid my tuition with his father's money. Locked my birth certificate, my transcripts, every scrap of paper I need to survive in a safe I'll never open. And the one thing I had left of my dad, his old watch, she dangled like a noose. Run, and I lose my education. Fight, and I lose the last piece of the man who actually loved me. So I moved into the Hunters' mansion. Into the lair of the boy who spent years making my life hell. Chase Hunter. Six-foot-five of pure venom wrapped in muscle and money. The senior who cornered me in empty hallways, who whispered filth in my ear just to watch me flinch, who smiled that sharp, cruel smile every time I broke a little more. I thought graduation meant freedom from him. I was wrong. Now he's my stepbrother. He hates that I'm here. Hates my mother for sinking her claws into his father. Hates me most of all, for breathing his air, for walking his halls, for daring to exist where he can reach me. But hate isn't clean anymore. It's tangled up in heat. In the way his grey eyes strip me bare every time they land on me. In the way his hand closes around my throat, not to hurt, but to own. In the way he punishes me over his lap, in his car, against walls, until I'm shaking and soaked and furious at myself for wanting more. He calls me Little Lamb like it's poison on his tongue. I call him every name I can think of under my breath. How long until we stop fighting the deadly inferno raging between us and finally let it consume us both?
Reborn As The Cold Villain's Daughter
9.2
I woke up suffocating in the dark, only to find my mind trapped inside a tiny, plump, and entirely uncoordinated body. A cold, mechanical voice echoed in my brain, announcing that I was dead in my original world and had transmigrated into a corporate revenge novel as the six-month-old illegitimate daughter of Edward McClure, the story's ruthless villain. The system mercilessly outlined my doomed fate. Tonight, my cold-blooded father would abandon me to a state orphanage. By age two, he would officially sign my rights away, leaving me to die miserably at the hands of human traffickers. Outside my nursery, I could hear his terrifying footsteps approaching, his voice devoid of any human warmth as he debated throwing me out like garbage. I was completely helpless, trapped in a baby's body, staring up at a man who looked at me with pure, visceral disgust. Why did I have to be reborn as the tragic cannon fodder of a tyrant destined to put a bullet in his own head? How was I supposed to win over a severe germaphobe when my unequipped infant reflexes made me literally pee and vomit all over his pristine Tom Ford suits? "Your ultimate mission is to prevent Edward McClure's self-destruction. Step one: Survive tonight's abandonment crisis." Hearing the system's terrifying ultimatum, I swallowed my adult panic, forced a pool of pitiful tears into my large eyes, and reached my chubby little hands toward the monster.
Silent Escape: The Runaway Heiress's Refuge
7.3
I was summoned home from boarding school for a funeral, thinking my family finally wanted me back. I stood in the pouring rain, watching a mahogany casket disappear into the mud, while the silence in my head felt like it was drowning me. That night, I hid behind a tapestry and listened through a vent to my father’s study. He wasn't talking about grief. He was talking about "tissue compatibility" and "near-perfect matches" with the family lawyer. They didn't want a daughter; they wanted a donor. My father’s voice was devoid of emotion as he discussed "the harvest." My half-sister was dying, and I was the spare part they had been growing for years. They had even removed the lock from my bedroom door so I could never truly shut them out. The realization shattered me. I was just a biological backup plan, a life deemed less valuable than the one they preferred. How could a father look at his own child and see nothing but a heart to be cut out and transplanted? I didn't wait for them to come for me. I stuffed a backpack, flushed my SIM card, and climbed out the window into a thunderstorm. I caught a bus to the middle of nowhere, ending up in a seat next to a massive, predatory man named Hoyt who looked like he’d killed people for less than a seat preference. He pinned my wrist with a grip like iron and growled, "Who sent you?" I couldn't speak to defend myself, but as we rolled into a dying town called Blackwood Creek, I knew one thing for certain. I would rather take my chances with a stranger with a gun than stay another night with the family that wanted me dead.
