Chapter 8

I sneered, looked at Jimmy Davis, and said blandly, "Congratulations, both of you."

There is not a trace of sadness, and it is surprising to be free and easy.

Just an ex-boyfriend, hum!

Nicole Stewart took the wedding dress and shook it in front of me. She looked innocent and happily pulled me and asked, "Sister Irene, your tastes have always been very good. Do you think this wedding dress suits me?"

I sneer,

"Sister Nicole, you have a big skeleton, are you not particularly tall, and have gained weight recently? It's really hard to pick, just find one that can be worn in?"

Her face changed, probably because Jimmy Davis was present, and she didn't get angry. She smiled and said, "After knowing that I was pregnant, Jimmy always let me eat well, and I put on a little weight, but Jimmy said this wedding dress suits me very well."

I smiled and pointed out, "You have similar tastes, no wonder you hit it off so well."

Nicole Stewart laughed wryly. Probably because she was afraid that I would say something again, she changed the subject, "Sister, if... you can be my bridesmaid, I will be very happy."

I laughed mockingly.

The viewpoint of Irene Nadine

"I'm sorry, I'm married, and I'd like to leave if that's okay."

Jimmy Davis, who had never spoken before, opened the door when he heard my comments. His tone was a touch nervous, and he asked, "Are you married?!"

"Sorry I didn't notify you, but I assumed you were too busy to attend my wedding," I said with a smile.

"Simply find a man and marry him. Do you believe it is proper?"

"It's not what casual dude, but he's better than you."

They both don't look good. Jimmy Davis is even angrier. Nicole Stewart yanked on his arm, hypocritically saying, "Jimmy, forget about it. Don't say anything. I'm sure she has some grievances. We're sorry for what happened to her. She will be able to find a decent family. We should be pleased."

Jimmy Davis's expression did not improve, and he questioned me, "You've known that man for a long time, don't you?You must date him frequently behind my back."

I don't bother explaining anything to him, whatever he thinks is excellent, it isn't an important person, smiling and responding, " I still have something to do, you two continue."

For a brief while, I believed that my marriage to Ryan Campbell had had little impact. At the very least, I didn't lose horribly in front of Jimmy Davis, and he thought I was better than him, so that was enough.

I returned to the convenience shop and worked until 7 p.m. Ryan Campbell called me in the afternoon to invite me to supper. I answered no, and he brought up the children again. I was so enraged that all I said was "busy" and hung up.

It's a good thing he didn't call any more.

Things always appear to be different from what we agreed in the start. He stated that he would not live with me, but he treated me with three meals a day, which is exactly what a true husband and wife would do.

Of course, I won't be confident that my attractiveness has captivated him and convinced him to reconsider. The child in my womb is the only thing that makes sense. He just cares about his child.

I realized I didn't know Ryan Campbell's apartment address as I stood at the bus stop waiting for the bus. I rode his car in and out without looking at the apartment name.

I had to send him a text message to get his address. I was waiting for his response. His phone number appeared on the mobile phone interface. When I plugged in the phone, he said, "Where ?"

"Just give me your address."

"I'll pick you up," he stated unequivocally.

"The crossroads."

I'm not sure if he's around. His car arrived shortly after I arrived at the crossroads.

He had so many reasons to train me that he began as soon as he boarded the bus "If you can call, don't send text messages. I'll stand here all night if I don't see you?"

I turned my head out the window, pretending not to hear, and reasoned that I didn't want to contact him to send a text message.

"Didn't you say you left work at eight o'clock?"

"Didn't I say I was preoccupied?"

"Resign, I'll give you my salary, and my son needs to go to bed before eight o'clock," he replied, seeing my anxiousness.

I can't help but yell angrily, "Psycho!"

He didn't say anything else, and I believed I had scolded him so harshly that I felt I had the upper hand.

He, on the other hand, refused. He didn't begin settling accounts until he got to the apartment. Simply because he didn't have time to converse with me while driving.

Ryan Campbell exited the vehicle and walked around to the back. He pushed open the door on my side. He entered and loomed over me before I could get out.

Before I had a chance to respond, he seized my face, squeezed my mouth, dropped his head, and asked, "Are you very good at swearing? Let's hear two more sentences."

"Let me go!"

Ryan Campbell not only did not let to, but actually strengthened his strength. "Swear once more."

I looked at him, stretched out my hand against his chest, but how can I push him away? I'll swear, but he made me!

"Don't believe I can't deal with you. I'll show you if I don't obey." He wouldn't let me go until he was done speaking.

I crept though the car , my face going crimson at any moment, and run ahead of him to the elevator, furious.

When I returned home, I went straight to my room and banged the door shut. Ryan Campbell glanced and said, "Big temper."

I turned off my alarm clock and went to sleep for a while the next day, long after Ryan Campbell stated yesterday about waking up.
