Chapter 6

I turned to look out of the window and decided to ignore him.

He chose the restaurant, not a high-end western restaurant, but a small restaurant, specializing in Spanish food.

It seems that he is still a frequent visitor here, and the proprietress is enthusiastic about him, "Ryan, you brought girls today? Strange."

As Ryan Campbell took the menu, he looked at me and said, "My wife."

The proprietress was obviously surprised, "I just haven't seen you for a while, and you got married?"

He said seriously, "She fell in love with me at first sight, and I can bear it more."

I glared at him, but he pretended not to see me and asked , "What do you want to eat?"

"Want to eat what you don't like!"

Knowing that I would be blocked in my heart, he also looked at me and said, "I didn't ask you."

I was so angry that my eyes widened that I wanted to swear.

He ordered a few dishes by himself, most of which I didn't like very much, and plausibly said they were good for kids.

I reached for chopsticks, but he took the lead in holding them down. "Don't wash your hands?"

I...

"Go straight to the bathroom and turn right."

I stood up and dropped a sentence when I passed him, "Cleanliness!"

Without giving him a chance to fight back, I walked quickly to the bathroom.

Irene Nadine's pov

As soon as I left, a man and a woman came in at the shop door.

The woman took the man's hand and talked and laughed. Suddenly, she saw Ryan Campbell here. The woman's eyes flashed a trace of surprise, and then stepped on high heels and came over, "Mr.Campbell, you're also here?"

Ryan Campbell looked up at them, without too much emotion, just nodded faintly.

The seat beside Ryan Campbell is empty. The woman walks over to sit down beside him, but Ryan Campbell stops her, "There is someone here." Said, she took her bowl chopsticks and put them beside her.

The woman had a surprise in her eyes and sat down opposite the man. "Mr. Campbell, this is Director Stewart."

Ryan Campbell just nodded his head, and Director Stewart, who is estimated to be in his forties, fawned on him with a smile, "Mr. Campbell, I've heard a lot about you."

When I came back from the bathroom, I saw the scene here and thought I was going the wrong way. I recognized the back of Ryan Campbell's head and walked over in doubt.

My position has been taken, and the position next to Ryan Campbell will be empty. I can only sit down and look at the men and women opposite me. I don't know the men, but the women are somewhat familiar, a bit like actress Kathy Clark, but there is a difference between real people and the one on the camera, and I can't confirm it.

Ryan Campbell handed me chopsticks like no one's watching. The woman opposite was obviously surprised. She didn't expect a girl to appear around Ryan Campbell. The relationship was so close, with a smile on her face and asked, "Mr.Campbell, this is..."

I also looked at her and saw that she called Ryan Campbell so intimate that she should not be an ordinary woman.

Ryan Campbell didn't hide it either, "My wife."

I was a little confused. At first, I thought I was just cooperating with him to pretend in front of his family. When I went out with him, he said I I was his wife when he met everyone.

But thinking that she was his acquaintance, I didn't interrupt.

But the woman looked a little shocked, the smile on her face became a little pale, and she wanted to say something, but she gave up because there were other people.

The meal was not very comfortable , I almost did not speak, just quietly listen to their chat.

I probably confirmed that the woman opposite was Kathy Clark, because she had been talking with Director Stewart opposite about filming.

She always looks pure and lovely in front of the screen. I didn't expect to talk so much at dinner.

Some time ago, she had an affair with the heir of ABC Entertainment, which made her popular on the Internet. I didn't expect Hher to come out to accompany the director for dinner to take the role.

After dinner, Director Stewart's left in advance. I looked at Ryan Campbell and wanted to say that I wanted to leave.

"I have eaten well, too."

"Irene, this is the first time we meet. Have a drink."

Looking at the glass Kathy Clark handed me, before I made a sound, Ryan Campbell reached out and pushed me away, "She can't drink."

Seeing Ryan Campbell protecting her like this, Kathy Clark's eyes have a trace of guessing.

When I put down my bowl, he handed me my wallet and said, "Go check out."

I didn't hesitate to go because I wanted to go back early, so I took his wallet and went to the cashier. However, this action had a different meaning in Kathy Clark's eyes.

When I left, Kathy Clark said, "Mr. Campbell, you said you would take care of me. Why did you marry her?"

Ryan Campbell didn't answer in a hurry, but slowly put her mobile phone on the table and put it in her bag. Every subtle movement revealed his consideration for her. Kathy Clark put on a wronged look and said, "Mr.Campbell, don't forget your promise!"

When I came over after paying the money, I smelled something strange, but before I could smell it carefully, Ryan Campbell threw me his bag and said, "Wait for me outside."

"Then I will go back first. I have to go to work tomorrow." I thought two people would have to talk for a long time.

Ryan Campbell exasperated, "Wait outside!"

I walked out of the door with hiis bag pursing my mouth. Kathy Clark's eyes followed me all the way to the door, clenching her teeth and looking unwilling. In front of Ryan Campbell, she put on a miserable look, "Mr.Campbell, you are married..."
