Chapter 4

He left my phone number and contact information, signed the agreement in duplicate, and handed me a bank card with a one-million-dollar balance.

Even if children are born in the future, they can be raised with this one million.

I walked downstairs to his office the next day with my certificate, as arranged. He was likewise punctual and drove right to the marriage registration office.

Ryan Campbell, is only 26 years old, but he is in charge of all The Campbell's commerce and is known as China' youngest entrepreneur.

"What are you thinking?" I'm not sure when he came up behind me.

I feigned to ask him gently, "So are we married?"

He nodded before asking, "School or work?"

He didn't realize I was only 20 until he saw hemyr ID card.

"Go to work," I answered stuffily.

After graduating from high school, I was forced to work because my uncle refused to give me money.

I expected him to insult my schooling, but he simply remained silent and said, "What time?"

"It's two in the afternoon."

"Please take some time off; my parents want to see you."

"Is there another day? When I get a vacation." When I'm ready, that is.

He proceeded to throw me one sentence, "Article 2 of the agreement."

When he requires it, assist him in playing the role of a decent wife.

When you cry, you must follow the terms of the deal you signed.

I jumped in his car and drove him home, and my attitude was a little anxious when my daughter-in-law first met her in-laws.

This wealthy family's parents should be quite skilled at making things tough for others, right?

Irene Nadine's pov

About 20 minutes' drive, the car stopped in front of a retro villa, and it felt special.

As soon as his car arrived, the servants lined up to welcome us, and a woman in a dark red dress came out and looked at us happily.

Ryan Campbell put his arm around me and naturally introduced me, "Mom."

I swallowed my saliva. This word is very strange to me, and some of them can't be called.

Seeing that I didn't make any noise, Ryan Campbell looked down at me and added some strength to his hand on my waist. Only then did I whisper and cry awkwardly, "Mom."

Mrs. Campbell took me for shyness and said happily, "Hurry into the house, your father is waiting inside."

I thought it would be a particularly sharp woman, but I didn't expect it to be so friendly, which made me breathe a sigh of relief.

After crossing the promenade and walking to the living room, I saw a middle-aged man and an old man with white hair sitting on the sofa playing chess.

Ryan Campbell sat on the sofa with his arms around me and called respectfully, "Dad, Grandpa."

The parents put down their chess pieces and looked at us.

Grandpa looked very kind, and Mr. Campbell looked much more serious. He looked at me unsmilingly and said, "What's the name?"

". Irene Nadine."

"How old are you?"

"20."

Mr. Campbell then asked, "Still at school?"

I shook my head, educational background has always been a place where I feel inferior.

Ryan Campbell looked down at me and guessed my thoughts. He said, "People are married. Why do you ask so many questions?"

Mr. Campbell glared at Ryan Campbell and said, "Is it your place to interrupt when the elders are talking?"

Seeing that the two fathers and sons were going to quarrel again, Mrs.Campbell made a noise, "Well, my son finally came back once, so don't put on a show. Irene is also here for the first time, so don't scare other children."

Fortunately, with Mrs.Campbell around, the atmosphere was harmonious.

After lunch together, we left. I looked out of the window and stayed for a while. Only then did I suddenly think of one thing. I sat up straight and asked him who was driving, "What about the children?"

He looked at me in the rearview mirror and quickly gave me a reply, "Born."

"What about divorce?"

He sneered, "It is not so easy to leave after getting married."

I looked out of the window and, while I was thinking about the future, the car stopped in front of an apartment. I drifted off and followed him out of the car. "Where is this?"

He locked the door with the key, went to the elevator and pressed the upstairs button, saying, "You will live here in the future, and bring things here when you have time."

"Wrong! The agreement only said to help you cope with your family, not to live together!"

"You heard it, my mother will come to see us at any time, and you are responsible for finding flaws?"

The elevator door opened at this moment. He stretched out his hand and pushed me in. After pressing the floor key, he bowed his head and looked at my figure wantonly and said, "Don't worry, I don't want you to eat it. Take care of your own hunger and thirst."

I answered him angrily, "You are hungry!"

He responded faintly, "Do you want me to help you carefully recall who took the initiative that night?"

When I heard him say such things, I suddenly blushed and shut up.

When the elevator arrived at the floor, he took the lead in going out. After opening the door, he threw it to me, "Put it away by yourself. I don't have much time to come back, and I don't have much time to open the door for you."

I put the key in my bag and scolded him and said, "You grew up drinking poison, didn't you?!" The mouth is so poisonous! No wonder I can't find a girlfriend!

He went inside and changed his shoes before looking down at me and saying, "Be careful when you talk to me."

I pedaled off my shoes, "I told you I had a bad temper!" Then I opened the shoe cabinet, but I didn't find any extra slippers. He said faintly, "There is no thing for you at home for the time being, and I am barefoot. I will warn you first..."
