Anya’s POV:

As I looked at their excited expression, I couldn’t help but sneered. ‘It was no wonder people say that money can do anything! It might be my first time seeing the member of the Walter family so excited after seeing me…’ I scoffed inwardly.

The reason I came back this time was all because of my grandfather. In the Walter family, he was the only person who was nice to me and loved me. And since he had left the Walter Group in my hands, I don’t want to disappoint him. After all, it was my grandfather’s whole life work.

And I didn’t want to get ruined in the hands of those useless people.

“In all those years, you didn’t come to see Grandpa even once and don’t care about him. However, now when it’s time to talk about the inheritance, you came. How shameless!” Harry continued.

“Enough of that.” At that moment, my father looked at Harry and spoke.

Then, he patted me on the shoulder and said, “Anya, don’t mind him, after all, he is your brother. Since you are back, move back home! It’s not good for you to live outside!”

“Yes, Anya, come and live with us. Also, your grandfather made a will on his deathbed. He wants you to inherit the 51% shares of the Walter Group. The illness must have clouded his head. I nodded and thanked them politely.

Evan’s POV:

As I was waiting for my car outside the company, I couldn’t help but think about Anya.

When Tara asked me about Anya in the office, I froze for a moment as I didn’t know how to answer the question.

Four years ago, when I sent her the divorce papers through my lawyer, I thought that she would not sign it or at least make some scene…

However, to my surprise, she didn’t. When my lawyer handed me the papers, I couldn’t even believe in my eyes, as I looked at her signature. After all, I always believed that she was just a gold digger, so I thought she must be planning something.

What’s more, when I got home the next day, Anya had already moved out. What’s more, except for her ID and a few clothes which she bought from Walter's family, she didn’t take anything with her.

But I still didn’t believe that she would give up so easily and thought that she would certainly pester me, so I prepared many ways to deal with her.

Anya raised her brows as smiled politely, shook the car keys in her hand, and said, “Thanks, but I don’t need it. I have my own car.”

Her face was indifferent and expressionless as if she was simply being polite to a stranger.

Suddenly, I felt someone grabbed my arm. Turning around I saw Tara holding my arm intimately, as she looked at Anya and said, “Anya, why are you so polite as if we are strangers! We are family and it’s natural for us to help each other. By the way, why don’t you move back with us. At least, you don’t have to be alone, and…”

However, before Tara could finish her sentence, Anya interrupted her, “Thanks! But I don’t have any family, and I don’t like to be with strangers!”

Saying that she waved politely and walked to the sliver Bentley parked not far away. Then, she opened the door and got in.

Soon, with a roar the car drove away and disappeared in the crowd.

“It seems that my sister had been living a good life these years! She could enjoy such a rich life without any help from the family.” Tara remarked.

However, I didn’t say anything in response.

During the four years when Anya had been gone, for various reasons, I didn’t marry Tara. Moreover, with these four years, I realized that Tara was simply not the one for me.
