Chapter 84

The spotless kitchen turned so messy under five minutes Cyrus and Kiana were there and Aria couldn't even find it within herself to get mad at the two because they really look so funny.

Kiana was trying to clean her father’s face but because her hands already got wet, she just added more mess to Cyrus’s face and hair that made Aria laugh louder at them.

"Princess, no baby. Let daddy wash your hands first." Cyrus tried to stop his daughter but Aria’s loud laughter distracted him so instead of removing the mess from himself, the pure blood alpha suddenly felt like messing around.

He grabbed some of the wet flour from the kitchen counter then he sneakily moved behind Aria and without giving the omega a warning, he cups her face with his flour covered hands.

"Don't you think it's unfair if we're the only ones looking like dumplings?" Cyrus uttered as he smeared the flour on Aria’s face.

"No oh my Luna!!!" Aria screamed but it was too late because her face is now covered with flour also.

Kiana was silent at first when she heard Aria’s loud scream but when she saw her Father laughing so hard, she also became very excited that she also joined the fun by grabbing more flour and throwing it around like a confetti.

Aria’s scream of protest fell into deaf ears when Cyrus joined their daughter in adding to the mess in the kitchen.

"Daddy, daddy here! Kiki wants to put this to mama too!" Kiana excitedly screamed when she managed to grab a lump of wet flour from the counter.

Aria and Cyrus froze when they heard their little girl's words.

Even Knight , Justin and Felicia who were about to check what was going on heard what Kiana just said.

Aria’s eyes widened with shock while Cyrus' heart melted thinking that their pup finally found her own way of identifying her omega Mother.

Because he didn’t wanna give Aria a false hope, Cyrus took another few steps to close the gap between himself and their pup who's now quiet too because everyone is quiet.

"Princess....what did you call her uhmmm.. did you just call her Mama?" Cyrus asked, his eyes full of emotions because he really is beyond happy for his mate.

They all know that Kiana would turn 4 in a few months and she's too young to comprehend things and they also don't wanna burden her by telling her that Cyrus is her omega mother. They want her to familiarize herself to her and let her identify him herself. That's also why Cyrus agreed that their pup could stay at Knight’s place so she would have more time to spend with her mother.

Kiana’s eyes widened  when she realized what Cyrus was asking her. It's as if she was caught eating candies after she brushed her teeth at night so she shied away a little at first. She quickly stands up and hugs her alpha father before she buries her face in his neck. She slowly lifts her face to see if he is still waiting for her answer.

"You are Kiki’s best daddy ever." the little girl said as she lifted her one hand to caress Cyrus’s face as if she's reassuring him that he is still her father.

"I know princess, thank you for that." Cyrus said with a smile before he lifted his gaze towards Aria.

The pure blood alpha's heart melted again when he saw Aria covering her mouth with her own hands while watching them.

"Kiana baby..." Cyrus forces himself to stop asking when he sees the little girl open her mouth again.

"Kiki wants pwetty pwincess too...d-daddy can she be my Mama now?" Kiana asked with her doe eyes widened as if she's scared to offend her father or to be rejected by Aria.

The omega didn’t  wait for Cyrus to answer, she moves towards them, crouched down a little so her face was at the same level as her little girl.

"Baby,...do you.. do you really want me to be your Mama?" She asked with tears in her eyes

"Mama, why are you cwying again? bad gawlic!" Kiana pouts as she wipes Aria’s tears away.

Cyrus and Ari looked at each other when they heard their little girl called her mother Mama again.

"Don't worry baby, these tears are not because of the bad garlic... Mama is just so happy. I am very happy." Aria uttered as she planted kisses to the little girl's forehead.

Cyrus didn't wait for an invite anymore as he wrapped his arms around Aria’s  tiny waist hugging his mate and their pup.

He's been holding back for so long and seeing Aria finally getting recognition from their daughter, he just wants to make the omega knows that he is also happy...he is beyond happy to see his family finally getting whole again, as it should.

Knight and Justin exchange a knowing look before the pure blood alpha joins the little family.

"Princess, I'm so happy you have your mama now but let's get you clean first okay?" Knight says with a smile and because Kiana is so in love with her favorite uncle, next of course to Dylan, she immediately extends her arms towards him.

Knight was about to take the little girl when Felicia was quick enough to take the little pup so she could clean her.

Once they left, Knight turned to the fated mates who were suddenly both awkward with their close position.

"I guess we better set the dinner some other nights. You both ruined my kitchen. We'll take Kiana with us and I'll call mom and say that we'll have dinner at home so you two....well, it's up to you what do you want to do because to be honest, I'm getting tired watching you two like.. I don't know, maybe teenagers who are both emotionally constipated when---"

"Knight! leave them alone!" Justin tried his best to save the fated mates because he could see how red their faces were already.

He wanted to laugh at Cyrus too because the pure blood alpha used to have constant rebuttals against his brother but at that , he was just silent and blushing too!

When Justin managed to pull Knight away from the couple, he sent Aria a fond smile before he left, leaving the two alone.

Aria  pretends to start cleaning up the kitchen so Cyrus has no choice but to help her.

The two are silent while tidying up the whole kitchen so when they're both finally done

Aria knows she has no other choice but to look at Cyrus again.

"Do you wanna take a quick shower? Your hair is a mess." Aria suggested awkwardly.

"Sure! I mean, yes if you don't mind." Cyrus replied enthusiastically knowing that he'll have to spend more time with the omega alone.

The two walked towards Aria’s bedroom in silence.

"Here's a fresh towel. Let me find something you can wear." She said while giving the bath towel to the pure blood.

Cyrus thanked her before he entered the bathroom that was painted in blue. He immediately smiled to himself when he spotted the strawberry shampoo inside. The whole bathroom smelled like Aria and if it wasn’t too embarrassing for an Alphalike him, it would be okay for him to sleep there forever.

The pure blood alpha was still smiling to himself then he is reminded that he needs to hurry taking a shower because Aria needs to take a shower too.

He even blushed when he realized that his mate will be using the same bathroom he is now. His mind starts to wonder during those times they used to take a shower together....well, especially to those times where he used to pin his omega to their bathroom wall as he took her from behind and---oh Fuck!

The pure blood alpha immediately turned the shower on and made sure that it switched to cold water to remind himself that he's not supposed to be thinking of those dirty thoughts when he still hasn't talked to Aria yet.

Thankfully, he managed to calm down right after the cold splash of water, his hardening cock softening.

He quickly finished his shower when he's sure that he had gotten rid of his boner.

He had to remind himself of Kiana and Aria’s reunion a while ago instead of reminiscing about his sexy times with his mate.

He was almost done drying himself with the towel when he heard a faint knock on the door so he quickly wrapped himself with the towel to see Aria who's already waiting with spare clothes for him.m

"Uhmm here they are only clothes I think would fit you." Aria said without even looking at him.

Cyrus smiles to himself when he notices the omega blushing. He loves this part of his mate, her innocence is so refreshing.

"Thank you Aria." Cyrus utters before he steps aside so the omega could get inside the bathroom too.

Aria just smiled at him before she got inside the bathroom too because her hair and neck are covered with flour too. The omega paused for a while when she saw his own reflection in the mirror inside the bathroom.

Her face is still flushed because of Cyrus’s presence and her eyes are sparkling. She doesn't even have to wonder why she is looking so happy because he knows the answer deep inside her heart.

Aria gave herself one last encouraging smile before she quickly started to clean herself .

She knows Knight and Justin already left with her daughter because the older pure blood alpha dropped by her room just a few minutes ago while Cyrus is still in the shower.

She doesn't know what to expect since she’s too nervous to think about the fact that she is now alone with Cyrus in the penthouse.

She is in deep thought about the possibilities of what could happen, she didn't notice that she was pouring the shower gel on the floor.

she gasped when she finally realized the slippery liquid on her feet and it was too late for her to realize that she needed to be careful because the moment she tried to move her feet she accidentally stepped on the gel making her slip and fall  on her ass with a loud scream.

Cyrus on the other hand was just about to wear the shirt Aria gave him when he heard the scream.

He knows Aria is alone in the bathroom so when he heard the loud thud and scream, he didn't think twice before barging inside the bathroom which fortunately was unlocked because Aria never learned to lock the door of the bathroom .

The omega was still on the tiled floor when her eyes widened the moment she felt Cyrus’s presence.

The pure blood alpha's scent was still lingering inside the shower but having him near her at the moment just makes the situation worse because she is currently still fully naked because she was supposed to be taking a shower.

"Aria...what---oh." Cyrus’ mouth hangs open when he sees the state of his mate.

Aria tried to cover her nakedness but she knows it's too late the moment he spotted Cyrus’s red eyes raking her whole body.

"C-Cyrus..." Aria uttered as she tried to stand up her lower body was glazed with the slippery shower gel, she just slid on the floor once more but this time Cyrus was fast enough to catch her.

"I got you." Cyrus breathes when his hands manage to hold her naked round butt while his other hand automatically wraps around the omega's tiny waist.

Aria lifted her eyes only to see Cyrus looking at her hungrily with lust filled eyes.

She swallowed an invisible lump in her throat when Cyrus remains quiet while holding her in his arms. The omega feels like her whole body was on fire  not because of the impact of her fall but because her naked body is now pressed with Cyrus’s half naked own body.

"Uhmm... Cyr---"

"Ari...c-can I kiss you?" Cyrus asks.

Healing My Seven Broken Beast Mates Novel Cover
9.4
My retirement was finally approved, and I was supposed to be sipping drinks on a sunny beach. Instead, a cold system voice forced me into a nightmare scenario: "Cursed Mates Who Want Me Dead." I woke up in a stinking cave, trapped in the body of a psychopathic tribal princess. The memories that flooded my brain made me sick. The original owner of this body had forcibly marked seven of the continent's most powerful beast-men and reduced them to tortured pets. She had ripped the shimmering scales off Jordi the Merfolk prince, gouged out a proud wolf-man's power crystal, and snapped an eagle-man's magnificent wings. Now, Jordi was a mutilated, terrified mess hiding in a corner. He was so traumatized that he tried to slit his own throat just to escape me. His sister was actively trying to assassinate me. To make matters worse, the system warned me that if I didn't heal these seven ticking time bombs, my soul would be erased. Yet the future timeline clearly showed that these men would eventually unite, burn my tribe to the ground, and dismember me alive. I was paying for a monster's sins. Every time I tried to show mercy, they thought it was a sick new torture method. Words were useless, and my very presence was a trigger. But I am a Tier-S operative, and I don't play the victim. I forced the system to unlock my powers and strapped on my tactical gear. "Stay here and don't starve." I left the trembling Merfolk behind and walked into the deadly primitive forest, heading straight for the powerful Oasis Tribe to take back his stolen scales by force.

Ninety-Nine Times, Then No More Novel Cover
7.3
This was the ninety-ninth time I caught my husband, Chase Vargas, with another woman in our five-year marriage. I stood in the hotel doorway, numb, tired of the cheap perfume and his cold, familiar eyes. But this time, his mistress, a blonde woman, hissed, "He told me all about you. The pathetic wife he's stuck with because of some business deal. He said he can't stand the sight of you." Her words, meant to hurt, were things I already knew, things Chase had made sure I understood. Still, hearing them from a stranger felt like a new humiliation. She lunged, scratching my face, drawing blood. The sting was a surprising jolt in my numb world. I wrote her a check, a routine part of this pathetic scene. Then my phone rang. It was Chase, calling from across the room. "What are you doing? Are you making a scene? Clean it up and get out. You're embarrassing." He thought I had orchestrated this, that I was the embarrassing one. The betrayal was casual, complete. "I'm tired, Chase," I said, the words finally coming from a place I thought had died. "I want a divorce." He laughed, a cruel sound. "A divorce? Elena, don't be ridiculous. You love me too much to ever leave me." I hung up. He then handed me a signed divorce agreement, telling me his true love, June, my adopted sister, was back. He wanted me to play the dutiful wife for her welcome-home concert. My heart, which I thought had turned to stone, felt a final, crushing blow. He wasn't divorcing me because I wanted it. He was divorcing me for her. I signed the papers. The ninety-ninth time was the last time he would do this to me.
