Chapter 1

Introduction:My Alpha, Ryan, not only cheated but also declared that our marriage was "open" and told me not to interfere with his relationship with Beta Emily. I was both furious and heartbroken. In order to get back at him, I followed the advice of the rogue wolf Luke and made him my "fake boyfriend" to provoke Alpha Ryan. Just then, the young and beautiful Omega Alex stormed into my life like a whirlwind, fervently pursuing me. I’m determined to take back what’s mine and make those who have hurt me realize that I, Julie, am not someone to mess with!

“You know what you're doing?” I muttered to myself, eyes never leaving Alpha Ryan and Beta Emily.

They stood on the stage, Alpha Ryan's arm around Beta Emily, her low-cut dress and slender figure practically taunting me.

What was supposed to be a simple pack celebration had turned into a nightmare, as I felt like nothing but a shadow, invisible in the eyes of everyone else.

The surrounding pack members murmured, their glances flicking from me to the Alpha and the beautiful Omega, their eyes filled with disdain and mockery.

Alpha Ryan, the man who once swore loyalty to me, was now so intimate with his Omega.

Beta Emily's every move, every step, seemed designed to provoke me.

She was practically flaunting herself, as if telling everyone she was meant to be Alpha Ryan's true mate.

How could I not be furious?

Beta Samantha suddenly approached, wearing her usual smug grin. “Luna Julie, seeing you like this, I really feel for you,” she said, her tone dripping with sarcasm. “You know, everyone’s talking. Alpha Ryan and Beta Emily seem a lot closer than you think.”

Her voice was raised, intentionally loud enough for the surrounding wolves to hear.

I didn’t want to engage with her, but her words cut deeper than I could bear. “Shut up,” I muttered, trying to keep my composure.

Beta Samantha, seeing I wouldn’t bite, leaned in even closer, her smile growing wider. “You’re the wife of an Alpha, you should have some dignity, don’t you think? But I get it, after all, Beta Emily is just so irresistible.”

Each of her words was a deliberate jab, showing no pretense of politeness, just pure malice.

And then, Beta Emily turned to look at me, her smile as cold as a snake’s.

She didn’t even look ashamed—if anything, she was more mocking.

She sauntered over and whispered, “Luna Julie, don’t worry. Alpha Ryan and I will be closer soon enough. After all, you’re no longer the only one in his life.”

Her words felt like a blade cutting through my heart. I had reached my limit. I couldn’t take it anymore. “Shut up!” I snapped, standing up abruptly and glaring at her. I had to change the narrative. “Enough, Alpha Ryan! This party is over.” I shouted, my voice drowning out the background music, causing every wolf in the room to stop and turn towards us.

Alpha Ryan, in his drunken stupor, blinked at me, confusion written across his face. “Luna Julie? This isn’t how you end a party.”

I ignored him completely and marched toward the sound system, commanding the staff to shut it down immediately. “Turn it off now,” I said firmly, showing no room for negotiation.

The room fell silent as the music abruptly stopped.

All eyes were on me, and I could almost hear the whispers of the pack members.

Beta Emily’s eyes flickered with anger, but she maintained her sickeningly sweet smile.

She wasn’t shy about showing her superiority, as though she believed she was destined to be Alpha Ryan's mate, while I was simply in the way.

I grabbed Alpha Ryan’s wrist and dragged him off the stage, not sparing a glance back at Beta Emily. “Not today, Alpha Ryan. Your party is over.”

Beta Emily followed us, laughing coldly as she approached, her smile twisted in cruel amusement. “Your relationship will probably end soon enough, Luna Julie,” she said, her voice as sharp as a knife. The words hit me like a blow, and I felt my anger reach a boiling point.

I could no longer hold back. I had to make sure they both understood my resolve.
