Addicted to Chastity

I married the Alpha of the top pack, but he hasn't touched me for a year. Yet by chance, I heard him crying to his younger brother. "She actually ordered three of the strongest warriors to accompany her, and the four of them went to train alone." He was so upset that he burst into tears. "Ron, if you're too scared, wait until sister-in-law is tempted by those guys and orders them to get intimate with her, you'll cry with no tears left." He immediately stopped crying: "What do they count for? Those outside are just wild grass; nothing's as sweet as one's own." "As long as she's still willing to come back, she can do whatever she wants." Roger rubbed his forehead and sighed:”Ron, why don't you ask the shaman to take a look?" Later, I secretly asked the shaman. The shaman gave me a note written by Ron himself: "I have... intimacy addiction. I love my wife very much, but I'm afraid of scaring her. What should I do?"

Chapter 3

In a half-asleep state.

A soft touch and an itchy sucking sensation came from my ankle.

I looked down and saw Ron bending over, holding my foot, sucking out the snake venom for me.

I wanted to push him away, but the snake venom struck again, making me weak all over, and my consciousness faded.

When I woke up again, I was lying on Ron's strong chest. My ankle felt cold; someone had applied herbs at some point.

Ron had me wrapped in his arms, and I couldn't move.

Still angry from last night, I pushed him away.

"Don't touch me."

Ron looked a little surprised, but he let go obediently. Instead, he stroked my ankle.

"Does it still hurt?"

"How did you get bitten by a snake?"

Last night, I stormed into the forest and drank wine; I probably didn't remember being bitten at all.

It took a whole night for the poison to take effect; I had thought it was just the aftereffects of drinking.

"None of your business." I was still upset.

Even so, Ron was just trying to act like a mate. Putting on such a show, for whom?

"Irene, can you stop being so unreasonable?" Ron said helplessly. Seeing I didn't want to talk, he got up and left.

I immediately turned around, not looking at his leaving back. It's better that Ron left, so he wouldn't pretend in front of me. But for some reason, tears still fell from the corners of my eyes.

So unworthy.

I won't shed such unworthy tears again.

Before I knew it, I fell asleep.

In the middle of the night, I felt hot all over, as if a red-hot iron was pressed against me. I opened my eyes suddenly; a familiar scent surrounded me. Ron had me tightly in his arms from behind.

Didn't he leave?

How did he come back?

My heart suddenly beat fast.

His breath hit the nape of my neck, making me itch all over.

Ron noticed I was awake, and his hand around my waist slowly moved up. He leaned close to my ear and asked me, "May I?"

These words stunned me. Before, I would have kissed him like crazy; it was rare for him to take the initiative. Now, thinking that he had kept himself for Kate for so long, I felt annoyed. After all, Kate used to be his best friend.

Until I became Ron's mate, she gradually stopped associating with him.

With these thoughts, the discomfort grew stronger, and bitterness stuck in my throat. It's like Kate gave Ron to me.

Who needs that?

"Ron, you don't have to do this."

"You don't have to pity me; I don't need it."

With that, I got up and put on my clothes immediately. I didn't see Ron trying to stop me—but he forcibly held back his outstretched hand.

I left without looking back.

Before I knew it, I walked to the training ground.

This familiar training ground brought back memories.

In the past, young, promising werewolves from various packs would come here for training. That year, Ron stood out among many werewolves.

He was tall, with a more perfect body than his peers, and his muscles were like a carefully carved work of art.

At that time, he planted a seed in my heart.

I cannot deny the truth—Ron's body is admittedly good.

But so what? If he doesn't want to, there are plenty of young, strong werewolves in the world.

The more I thought about it, the angrier I got, and I immediately sent for the servant. "Immediately bring all the strongest warriors in the pack to train with me!"

The servant hurried to obey, and after a while, three of the strongest young warriors, summoned in haste, took off their shirts at my command.

Sunlight shone on their strong chests.

I deliberately spoke loudly, my eyes sweeping over them without restraint.

But Ron's more perfect body kept flashing in my mind, making me distracted.

Somehow, word reached Ron's ears.

At the entrance of the training ground, that familiar tall figure appeared, exuding a cold aura.

I pretended not to see him, but my heart skipped a beat uncontrollably.

Ron's face was as dark as rain, his gaze sweeping over the three strong young men. Finally, it fixed on me. An invisible pressure filled the air; the three warriors fell silent, frozen in place.

"Continue!" I forced myself to stay calm, but my hand holding the bow trembled slightly. He strode over. The air seemed to be sucked dry. He stopped in front of me, his tall figure completely overshadowing me, bearing the bloody aura of the battlefield.

"Irene!" His voice was low, suppressing emotion.

I turned around suddenly, about to lash out at him with harsh words.

But the moment I saw his action, all words got stuck in my throat.

He, Ron, the supreme Alpha of the Thunder Pack, in front of everyone, suddenly tore off the laces of his shirt. The clothes tore open, were roughly pulled off, and thrown on the ground.

His honey-colored skin glowed in the sun, and the muscle lines forged by years of war were smooth. His abs were well-defined, leading down to a tight waist.

An aggressive pressure came over me.

I held my breath, my mind going blank.

He stepped forward, his hot breath hitting my face.

"Is this what you wanted to see?"

I stared at the silver envelope on my small wooden desk, my fingers trembling as I traced the elegant cursive of my name. Today was my twenty-fourth birthday, and this was the only card I'd received. Three years ago, birthdays meant pancakes with extra blueberries and Alex's warm arms wrapped around me as we watched the sunrise from our little cottage porch. Now, they were just another day of scrubbing floors and avoiding Victoria's cruel gaze. Something about the envelope felt wrong. The Sterling family crest pressed into the wax seal seemed to mock me. I broke it open, expecting perhaps a formal acknowledgment from Alexander—something cold but proper. What fell out stole the breath from my lungs. Photographs. Glossy, professional shots of Alexander and Victoria in ceremonial white robes, standing beneath an arch of moonflowers—my moonflowers, the ones I'd cultivated for years.

I smelled him before I saw his name. That should have been my first warning. The Come of Age Ceremony was held at the Greywood Hall, a sprawling estate in neutral territory that smelled like pine resin and old money and the careful anxiety of two dozen Alphas trying not to look like they were watching each other. I had been here for three hours. I had shaken hands with seven pack leaders, declined four alliance proposals, and accepted one glass of whiskey that I had not touched. Lucy stood two steps behind my left shoulder the way she always did — close enough to hear everything, far enough to give me room to be the most dangerous thing in the room. I was good at that. Being the most dangerous thing in the room. The Ironveil Pack had not been built on birthright or bloodline. It had been built on six years of surviving things that should have killed me, and then turning around and making sure they couldn't try again.

I stood on the raised dais, the white silk of my ceremonial mating gown fluttering in the night breeze. Below, the members of the Blood River Pack watched in hushed silence, their eyes reflecting the torchlight. This was supposed to be the greatest honor of my life. It was a union meant to unite strength and healing, a reward for saving the King’s life during the rogue wars. But as Pierce ascended the stairs, I felt no warmth from the bond. Usually, when a wolf meets their mate, the air crackles with electricity, and scents bloom like spring flowers. But Pierce’s aura was a wall of ice. His dark eyes didn't hold love or even lust; they held a burning resentment. He stopped inches from me, his towering frame casting a shadow over my face, blocking out the moonlight.

"At 33, I’ve decided to find my mate and start a family," I said, my voice steady despite the fluttering in my chest. Gage, the Beta of the Blue Moon Pack, let out a derisive laugh, his broad shoulders shaking slightly as he leaned against the headboard. His muscular frame, a testament to his high rank, seemed to dominate the room. "Sure, if that’s what you want," he replied, his tone dismissive. Three months later, he crossed paths with me at the pack hospital. His sharp eyes narrowed as he took in the sight of me, his lips curling into a sarcastic grin. "Alexia, was this your plan from the start?" he taunted, his voice carrying the weight of his authority. But behind me stood Kamden Nguyen, the Gamma of the Silver Fang Pack, his tall, imposing figure radiating strength and confidence. His hand rested gently on my shoulder, a protective gesture that spoke volumes. Gage’s eyes flicked to him, his expression shifting from mockery to disbelief.

Tears streamed down my face as the pain gnawed at my heart. In the flickering light of the flames, I watched my mate, Alpha Balor, desperately clutching Susan—his mistress, his so-called "true love"—as they hurried away. Not once did he look back to check on me, even though I was fighting for my life. “At least for our... child...” I gasped, my voice barely audible through the thick smoke that made it hard to breathe. Before I lost consciousness, the last image burned into my mind: my mate, holding another shewolf, completely ignoring me as they escaped the inferno. “You’ve broken a few ribs, Luna. And…” The doctor’s words hit me like a sledgehammer. “I’m sorry to say, you’ve lost the baby.” “If you’d been brought in just twenty minutes earlier,” the doctor continued, “we could’ve saved it.” Tears blurred my vision as the crushing weight of the loss hit me. My baby—gone. Days later, I dialed a number I never thought I’d call. “Alpha Damian Brooks, I’ve made up my mind. I want to join your pack.” ....
