Abandoned Your Pregnant Luna? Biggest Mistake, Alpha! Novel Cover

Abandoned Your Pregnant Luna? Biggest Mistake, Alpha!

I'm Kennedy, the pack's recognized Luna, and Tyler's fated mate-or so I foolishly believed. That day, the pregnancy test burned in my palm as I traced the tiny life growing inside me, my heart swelling with secret joy. But that joy turned to ash outside the club on that rainy night. Brenda's back-the woman who saved his life, the one he chose without hesitation over me. He grew colder by the day, letting her friends call me a FAKE LUNA to my face, even saying he wanted to reject our mate bond. I clung to my pregnancy like it was my last shred of dignity, terrified that if I spoke up, all I'd hear was his icy command-- "Abort it." He left me soaking in the rain, ignored me when I was burning with fever, and let me be humiliated, let me be pressured. But he forgot- I'm Kennedy, not some fragile vine that bends to his will. He'll pay the most brutal price for that stupid mistake!

Chapter 3

Kennedy pov

The next day when I woke up, I felt a bit under the weather. I took some cold medicine from the drawer and poured a cup of warm water.

Just as I was about to swallow the cold medicine tablet, I remember I shouldn't, my expression changed, and I rushed to the bathroom to spit out the tablet.

I leaned over the sink, rinsing my mouth, and spat out the bitter taste I had just swallowed.

"What's wrong? Why are you in such a hurry? Do you feel unwell?"

A clear, cold male voice suddenly rang out at the door, startling me,

I turned to look at him.

Tyler frowned at her.

Their eyes met for only a moment before I quickly looked away. She took a deep breath and answered, "Nothing. I just took the wrong medicine."

After speaking, I wiped the water droplets from my lips and stood up to leave the bathroom.

I could feel his glance, watching my departing figure with a pensive expression.

After breakfast, I knew I still had to work. As Luna, I usually followed him to his office where he takes care of pack business and did his meetings while I helped the women and children out.

"Want to ride in my car?" he asked.

I got caught in the rain yesterday and felt unwell after waking up today. I was about to nod when his phone rang.

He glanced down at the screen, which showed it was Brenda calling. He was avoiding not answering it, but I had already stepped aside on my own.

We are mates and I have learnt to trust him but I don't know if I could anymore, not after yesterday.

However, I saw him answer his phone.

I observed him from a distance.

From his expression, he was happy.

His expression was gentle, a state he had never shown before at least not after he blamed me for her leaving then .

I took a deep breath, suppressing the envy in my heart, and walked toward the garage.

"I'm in a hurry to go to the office. I'll leave first." I mindlinked him not trusting myself to wait for him.

*

I forced myself to go to the office despite feeling unwell. As soon as I entered the office, I sat down in my desk chair and leaned my head on the desk.

My head ached terribly...

But she was pregnant now and couldn't take any medication carelessly. Moreover, since I was having an alpha child, I knew it was going to be difficult especially if I am handling it myself.

In truth, I don't know how the pack will handle it if they know about my pregnancy.

The pack beta already hated me and I am certain he won't spared my child.

Especially Tyler. Not when Brenda has come back.

Before yesterday, after finding out I was pregnant, I had thought perhaps Tyler would accept the child, and maybe he could forget about Brenda totally.

But after I discovered that Brenda had returned and his feelings remained unchanged.

If he found out, his first reaction would probably be: "Abort it. It'll interfere with his plan to get mated to Brenda."

"Luna." A soft, delicate voice rang out. I snapped back to reality and looked up to see my assistant, Ashley.

I sat up straight and gave her a standard smile. "Good morning, you're here."

She didn't smile but looked at me with concern. "Luna, you don't look well. Are you feeling unwell? should I inform the Alpha" she questioned.

Hearing this, I paused for a moment and shook her head.

"I'm fine. I just didn't sleep well last night."

"Really?" she didn't seem convinced.

"But your face is so pale. Are you sure you're okay? Why don't you take a day off and go to the hospital to get checked out?" she placed her hand on my forehead

"I'm really fine. Did you finish summarizing the work from yesterday?"

After a few more words about work, she couldn't persuade me further, so she went to fetch the documents she had organized and poured me a cup of hot tea.

"Since you don't want to go to the hospital, drink some more hot water."

Ashley was the assistant I had hired herself, and she was quite diligent in her work.

However, aside from work, the two had no personal interaction.

I never expected her to care so much about me.

I felt a warm glow in her heart and took a few sips of the hot tea.

Earlier, I had felt a bit cold, but after drinking some hot tea, I finally felt much more comfortable.

But Ashley still looked at me with concern. "Luna, why don't I handle today's report? You can rest in the office for a while."

I shook my head. "No, I'll handle it myself."

It was just a minor discomfort; she wasn't being overly sensitive.

I organized the documents on my desk and decided to go check if Tyler was in his office since he didn't respond to my mindlink message. My office was a bit of a distance from his office. It wasn't usually a big deal, but maybe because I wasn't feeling well today, I felt a bit tired from the walk.

"Knock knock."

"Come in."

A cold, deep male voice came from inside the door, and I pushed it open.

Upon entering, I noticed an additional figure in the office.

A white dress hugged Brenda's slender waist, and her waist-length hair fell softly by her sides. In the sunlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows, she looked delicate and lively.

Upon recognizing who it was, I froze in place.

"Luna Kennedy, you're here." Brenda smiled sweetly as she walked toward me. I could react, she leaned in and hugged me. "I am back to take what's mine" she whispered into my ears.

My body stiffened even more, my gaze passing through Brenda's shoulder and locking onto Tyler's dark eyes.

The man leaned against the desk, his gaze intense as he stared at me, lost in thought.

As I stood there in shock, Brenda had already stepped back.

"I heard everything from Alpha Tyler. I'm so sorry for what happened to you." Brenda's face softened with concern. I knew it was all an act.

"If there's anything you need help with, please don't hesitate to tell me."

Hearing this, I paused. Had he told her everything?

But she quickly came to her senses.

Of course, how Tyler and I met had always been the talk of the pack; there was no way I could hide it from her.

Since it couldn't be hidden, it was indeed better to be clear about it.

I suppressed the bitterness in my heart and forced a smile with my pale lips.

"Thank you. When did you come back?" I managed to ask, making me wonder why she had left the first time.

"I arrived yesterday."

Yesterday?

That means she just got back, and Tyler went to see her right away.

He really does hold her close to his heart. She was at the meeting he had yesterday.

"By the way, why do you look so pale? Are you feeling unwell somewhere?" she suddenly asked.

Upon hearing this, Tyler, who had been leaning against the table with a casual attitude, raised his eyes to look at me. After taking a closer look, his brows furrowed.

"Because you got caught in the rain last night?" he frowned.

"Rain?" Brenda looked smudged like she knew something I didn't know.

I sighed and was about to explain when I heard Tyler coldly say,

"If you're not feeling well, why are you forcing yourself? I don't need you here today. Go rest."

Upon hearing this, Brenda instinctively glanced at Tyler.

Why does he suddenly look so angry?
