Chapter 1

A beautiful rural place that contains various trees of different colors, from yellow and green toeven pink, known as sakura.

And a calm river that flows from under a bridge with clear water and makes a gurgling sound because of the waters clashing with each other, making a sweet sound.

And flat, plain land with high grass, which feels a bit ticklish on your feet if you enter it while you are barefoot.

And that girl with deep black hair, who moved by calm breezes, and what distinguished her was that she contained a single white strand that shone from between her black hair strands.

That girl sits on the flat ground, next to her painted colors and brushes stained with those colors.

She cuts herself off from the outside world with earphones and listens to a soothing song that makes the volume so loud,

And she moves her hand holding the brush on the painting in front of her and draws her painting perfectly, as it included a little girl dancing ballet in a land similar to the land in which she is sitting.

She removed the headphones from her ears to rumble after leaning on the ground with both hands, raising her head up to close her eyes while inhaling the fresh air that differs from the city air that is filled with car smoke and pollutants.

"Greece is truly a country worth visiting," she giggled lightly as if she were a child, standing upright, carrying her painting with her.

with her brushes and paints, which she put in their designated box. She slowly walked, enjoying her gaze at the beauty around her, until she reached the bus stop.

A man with sharp features, a dominant figure,

a huge body and arms like iron, filled with all kinds of tattoos.

If your eyes fall on his fingers, you will find on his fingers the word "Death" tattooed.

.

On each of his fingers literally,

If you go up a little, you will find a tattoo in the form of a snake wrapped around his wrist like a bracelet.

If you go up a little, you will find a large tattoo along his arm with incomprehensible Russian letters, many thorns wrapped around it, and a long sword piercing words.

a man with a huge physique and looks devoid of emotion because of the wars he faced alone,

Pick up one of his vintage French-made cigarettes.

He grabs it and puts it in his mouth to touch his thick lips.

He put his head back, leaning on the edge of the chair on which he was sitting, to open his protectors in sync with his puff of cigarette smoke to the top.

Delof's seclusion was interrupted by a man with muscular muscles no less than he was large, cold facial features as if he had been made for murder only, hazel eyes, and sharp eyebrows like a sword.

He added,

"He took the flash with him and ran away."

Added that man, who appears to be in the middle of his second decade, to

to which Arius replied, saying, coinciding with the entry of another man into his office.

"Are you waiting for me to give you an order? Will you do what I say, Adam?"

ended his moderate interest in his cigarette and those still meditating on the fingers of his hand

Adam is characterized by his cold, indifferent, and calm personality even in the most difficult situations. He is obsessed with making various large bombs, even hand grenades, and he can dismantle the most powerful explosives due to his experience in this field. He is good at shooting arrows and fencing. He was appointed as the commander of the second division, which contains 400 men under his control.

Arius turned his sharp eyes from Adam to Zach to nod and say again,

"I really can't believe how an old man stole something valuable from the captains of two important teams!"

Zack is the leader of the first squad, who beat Adam in intelligence. He is distinguished by being a neutral character and also the opposite of both Adam and Arius, despite his brutality, but he appears to the beholder as being kind and possessing a shrewd mind with criminal planning.

Arius stood from his seat so that the muscles of his body that were covered by the table in front of him protruded, as he is of tall stature and full of muscular feet.

And we do not forget that glove that does not depart from his right hand holding the cigarette.

If each of his associates is distinguished by the qualities that made them leaders of his men, then he possesses all of them. This is what enabled him to be their leader.

He took a breath from his cigarette and then puffed it.

"Find him," he muttered in a raspy voice that frightens everyone, especially his enemies.

Adam's phone rang, and his voice rang out throughout the library. He pulled it out of his pocket to open it, and it was none other than their third friend, Seth.

Brown with chestnut hair and green eyes, there is a scar elaborately drawn above his eyebrow as if it was fabricated by someone for the accuracy of her shape.

With a volatile temperament personality, he has a black belt in Taekwondo and has agility because of his work as a thief when he was a child.

"What now?" Zach replied with boredom because of the urgency of calling every time he turned it down.

"I found that damned one." Zack straightened up, taking his hand out of his pants pocket and opening the phone for the others to hear.

"It's in the northern countryside."

Arius smiled his disordered smile, throwing his cigarette on the ground and coldly stomping on it with his shoes, to mutter simultaneously with the disappearance of his frightening smile, to replace it with his cold, uninspiring facial features.

"Destination has been

selected

On the other end, there was the beautiful woman who was revolving around herself like a butterfly in that green earth that the Creator had created and spewing a soft whistling in the form of a melody that she used to hear when she rehearsed her dance moves for ballet.

I caught a glimpse from afar of an old man selling flowers of all kinds of wonderful colors and smiled lightly to run towards him, jumping here and there, perhaps choosing the shape of her own bouquet.

That old man smiled lovingly at this beautiful woman with spontaneous behavior and full of vitality.

"Uncle, I want to make my own bouquet; can I?" She muttered lightly, and there was a wide smile on her innocent face.

The old man shook his head, nodding in agreement after a slight giggle; the other applauded cheerfully.

To select two roses of deep red and one white, followed by two other yellows, to seal their bouquet with a black sapphire, which was attracted by its rare color.

She extended her hand to that old man who was watching her movements and the expressions she made on her face when she wanted to buy a flower.

"You have an artistic sense, beautiful," another smile widened as her eyes widened at the intelligence of the man in front of her.

To Trdv Bsraa, this is his field, leaving only to reply.

"I can already paint and dance ballet."

She finished, raising the painting she had drawn in front of his face.

The old man muttered words in French that she could not understand, but she understood through his facial features that he liked the painting.

The man wrapped the bouquet for her to hand over to her, coinciding with giving him the money.

She took the package with her plate to walk towards the bus stop.

After a while she reached the stop, and the bus had not arrived yet.

I found another man wearing a black hat standing next to the seat, and he also seemed to be waiting for the bus. She did not care much to sit on the waiting seat, taking advantage of it to pass her eyes around the place.

Meanwhile, she caught a glimpse of something shining from afar in the huge building opposite her.

Her eyes closed in annoyance to look closely at that bright thing, but she couldn't because of the distance.

And this glint was nothing but the mirror of Adam's weapon of belittling, in which he was watching the situation from afar, waiting for his leader's signal.

Standing beside him is Arius, with sharp features on his face as if from an ancient Greek myth, and

Zack and Seth, who were leaning against the wall, observing the situation from afar through binoculars, were quarreling over it.

The bus arrived for the man to climb, then followed him, sitting in the last seat on the bus, due to its large size.

She quietly exhaled the fresh air to move her eyes between the passengers.

In the first seat I caught a glimpse of a young girl of her age with sexy features, swearing inside her that if she came to town she would be appointed as a model, but her eyes sparkled with sadness!

She turned her eyes again to find an old woman whose time had passed, and her face was pallid and wrinkled.

And behind her sits the man who was waiting with her at the bus stop.

She is the fourth person in that nice bus, as she called it.

She sees all things from a positive side, disregarding the negative aspects because of her artistic sense and her innocent soul from this dirty world.

The bus took off slowly, and because of its movement, its painting fell next to that man's foot, so he picked it up with his hand and

There is a fake smile he drew as soon as he grabbed the painting.

"She is beautiful," he muttered softly, taking advantage of the innocence of the girl who smiled wide as soon as she heard his words to stick

a small machine in the wooden cover of the painting in a place out of sight.

"Really!! Thank you very much," the other muttered in astonishment, picking up the painting with a smile shining on her face.

Unaware of the malice and intentions of the man who was praising her painting now and smiling at her fakely

In any case, there are many deceivers in the world. Not every star is shining. This means that it is beautiful!

On the other side, in that huge building, were those bodies with their gazes that watched their enemy subtly as if they were wolves ready to devour the flesh of their next victim.

"I want him alive," Arius gave his order to Adam, who was all ready to receive his command.

He lowered his weapon a little lower to the moving wheels of the bus to start the countdown faintly.

He reached the ears of the other three because of the quietness of the place.

His bullet was fired from his weapon without making a noise due to his placement of a silencer to settle in the rear wheels of the car.

The car lost balance under the panic of the passengers inside; the driver tried to control its movement in order not to turn over at its speed.

The old woman stuck to the front chair, panic dominating her features. As for the young girl, who did not make any sound, she only drew terrified features.

As for our heroine, who cried out, the bus eventually crashed into one of the trees that was on the side of the road.

Five years. That is exactly one thousand, eight hundred and twenty-five days of suffocating in a bond that felt more like a shackle than a blessing. Today marked the fifth anniversary of my mating ceremony to Alpha Vincenzo Snyder. In any other pack, the air would be thick with the scent of jasmine and roasted meats, a celebration of the Moon Goddess’s union between the Alpha and his Luna. But here, in the Silver Moon Pack, the air only smelled of damp earth and my own humiliation. We stood at the edge of the Whispering Woods for the ceremonial Pack Run. Tradition dictated that the Alpha and Luna lead the hunt, running flank to flank, a symbol of their united strength. The wind bit at my exposed arms, raising gooseflesh, but the cold was nothing compared to the icy stare Vincenzo cast in my direction. He stood tall, stripping off his shirt to reveal the broad, muscular chest that had once made my heart stutter—not because it was his, but because it was a cruel, mirror image of the man I had lost. I stood frozen among the gathered pack members, my heart hammering against my ribs as my father's words echoed through the grand council hall. "The union between my daughter, Aria, and our future Alpha Kai will strengthen the Moonstone Pack and secure our bloodlines for generations to come." The announcement hit me like a physical blow. My fingers trembled at my sides as I forced myself to maintain composure, feeling dozens of eyes boring into me. Some gazes held surprise, others calculation, but none matched the shock coursing through my own body. Kai. My arranged mate was *Kai*. I dared a glance toward him where he stood tall and imposing at the front of the hall. His face revealed nothing—no joy, no displeasure, just the same stoic mask he always wore. The same expression he'd had years ago when we trained together, when I'd first felt my heart stutter in his presence, when I'd first realized I loved someone who would never see me. My wolf, Nora, stirred anxiously within me.

The three-hour drive from the Northern Alliance meeting should have felt like coming home. Instead, as I pulled through the gates of Silverstone Pack territory, an unsettling quiet pressed against my chest like a physical weight. The familiar sight of our pack house—its stone facade and wraparound porch that had always welcomed me—now felt cold, almost hostile. I parked near the front steps, expecting to see pack members going about their evening routines. Children should have been playing in the yard, adults chatting on porches, the usual warm buzz of pack life that made this place feel alive. Instead, the grounds were eerily empty. The few wolves I did encounter on my way to the house avoided my gaze entirely. Mrs. Henderson, who usually stopped to ask about Sophie's schoolwork, practically fled when she saw me approaching. Young Marcus, one of our patrol guards, actually crossed to the other side of the path rather than offer his customary respectful nod.

Another pack member approached with a glass of champagne. "You've made us all so proud!" I smiled graciously, accepting the drink. "Thank you. I'm still processing it myself." From across the room, Scott caught my eye. My mate, my Alpha, my everything for the past seven years. He looked handsome in his tailored suit, his dark hair perfectly styled, his commanding presence drawing everyone's attention. He made his way toward me, weaving through the crowd with practiced ease.
