Episode 3 - When the Puppet Cuts the Strings (DUBBED)

Alfred Roger, heir to the world's largest fortune, hands Haley Peck over $1 million a month, yet she still refuses his one desperate request. Diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, he asks her for a mere $100,000 to cover his treatment. Her cruel rejection strips away the illusion of their relationship, revealing that his wealth bought obedience, never love. This urban short drama, When the Puppet Cuts the Strings (DUBBED), turns a lavish courtship into a brutal lesson in worth, as Alfred must decide if his devotion was a choice or a cage. The mini drama's pacing is tight, moving from opulent gestures to a single, devastating phone call. Why is this trending short series worth watching? Because it asks what remains of a man when his money loses its power. Every gift he gave her becomes a receipt for his own humiliation, and every promise she made now sounds like a lie. Does Haley's refusal free Alfred from his obsession, or does it bind him to her even tighter?
