Episode 4 - The Thief Lover

Maria slips a mafia boss's watch into her apron the same night she saves his life. Robert leaves the restaurant with a smile, and only later discovers his valuables are gone. The thief and the victim cross paths again at the orphanage demolition site, where the wrecking ball hangs over both their pasts. She stole from the man who looked noble, but the demolition site holds a secret that connects them. This mini drama turns a simple heist into a collision of trust and survival. Every glance between Maria and Robert carries the weight of what she took. He searches for his belongings while she guards her identity, and the orphanage walls crumble around their unresolved encounter. The pacing is tight, and the emotional stakes rise with each near-discovery. Maria's working-class grit clashes with Robert's underworld authority, and neither can walk away clean. The Thief Lover asks whether a stolen moment can ever be returned. But when the dust settles, who is really robbing whom?
