Episode 9 - The Devil Dragon's Substitute Bride

The night she signs the marriage contract in her cousin's place, Clara learns the Dragon Duke's last three brides vanished within a month. To save her terminally ill sister, she steps into the castle anyway—and finds not a monster but a man who treasures her like a rare jewel. He shields her from court whispers, gifts her the estate her cousin once mocked, and never once raises his voice. But the legend of the devouring duke did not come from nothing. Her jealous cousin, who married the 'perfect' nobleman instead, watches Clara rise to duchess while her own marriage curdles into public humiliation and quiet cruelty. Until a servant's slip reveals the duke's true enemy—and the reason those brides disappeared. The Devil Dragon's Substitute Bride is a romance with a dark edge, a mini drama that turns a forced marriage into a slow-burn rescue. Why is this short drama worth watching? Because every kindness from the duke hides a question Clara still hasn't asked.
