Oops, I Tamed the Commander Everyone Dreaded

Lyra walks into the Obsidian Palace for Kael the Commander's mate test, paying off Ethan's 20,000-credit gambling debt, and learns she is the only fated mate he has. She accepts the role, but Serena, an heiress of House Vex, plants a bomb in Lyra's quarters, forcing Lyra to expose the plot and break her ties with Ethan, who now demands half her winnings. Kael's star core begins to fail, and Lyra must enter the reactor chamber alone, using her bond to stabilize it. Oops, I Tamed the Commander Everyone Dreaded turns into a counterattack as she outmaneuvers Serena and secures Kael's trust. But when Serena frames Lyra for treason, the commander's own soldiers turn on her, and Lyra has one night to prove her innocence. Does she survive the trial, or does Kael's obedience cost her everything?
